Tastee BQ Grilling Co.

Thank you to the «Cut Throat Kitchen» grilling champion, Mick for catering our company BBQ a couple of weeks ago! The food was so tasty and a good time was had by all. The spread was fantastic with lots of choices even for our one gluten free. I especially enjoyed the Mac and Cheese with rosemary dish. We had a great spot, which Mick picked in Griffith Park. It was perfect for grilling and with plenty of open picnic tables to choose from. We had about 15 people. He worked with us on creating the perfect menu within our budget and delivered succulent meats with just the right amount of smoke and topped off with his famous BBQ sauce. The Corn on the Cobb was irresistible with his special garlic butter. We had a platter of grilled veggies, salad and rolls among other snacks and dessert! I believe everyone went back for thirds :). We look forward to seeing more of you on the Food Network!

Had Mick cater my wedding, which took place at my house. Wanted to do something different than the usual plated boring «chicken or fish» selection. I don’t even know where to start with my review …right, the food — absolutely incredible. Order was as follows: wagyu beef, smoked salmon, chicken, jalapeño corn bread w/​garlic butter, baked mac n cheese, dirty rice w/​ground beef, grilled caesar salad and a frappé punch with whichever fruit flavors my wife chose. EVERY SINGLE item was OUTSTANDING (none of the above items were just «ok» or just «good»), and tasted great even as a leftover. In fact, I’m craving some as I type this. Mick cares, as if it’s his own wedding reception. Asks all the right questions to make sure that he’s properly set up for the event, and executes everything to a T. He was even kind enough to cut and serve the wedding cake even though that was not his responsibility. I’m seriously trying to think of an excuse to throw a party just to have him back. Great guy, great food, flawless execution. Look, it’s hard to articulate how impressed I am with Tastee all around. But know this — I’ve never reviewed on Unilocal — I am signing up just to leave this review.

This is a great business in the Los Angeles area. I was never into BBQ rubs until I tried this one — you HAVE to try the POWER Rub by California Gold BBQ Rub. You can sometimes taste the hint of cocoa and cinnamon, which makes it so unique. It adds a ton of flavor to meat, vegetables, pizza, popcorn, shrimp, fish, literally anything you can think of. It’s gluten free too! Great local company, highly recommended. Mick is the best!

Mick was great! Extremely professional, very thorough on the details of the party and very accommodating. Everyone loved the food and he helped choose the menu and sides. His BBQ Rub is a MUST TRY!!! I would recommend Mick and Tastee BQ to everyone.

Tastee BQ catered our son’s birthday party yesterday and it was a big hit! Everyone has been raving about the food, especially the burgers. Mick was a joy to collaborate with and worked within out budget without hesitation. A can do attitude from the initial point of contact all the way to tear down at event. We would definitely hire Tastee BQ again and already a few friends have asked about them to use for their next parties.
