Staggering out of the Offbeat bar left me famished and on the hunt for taco goodness. The excellent thing is that these guys are just a few drunken steps away. The bad is that I forgot to pull cash earlier and had to pay a fee. Their sauce selection alone warrants 5 stars. Their tacos are simply put, amazing. I’m not being biased because i was a hungry drunk. I’ve had them sober. The meat is well prepared, seasoned and cooked. Nothing was burned and there was no nerves. The al-pastor was well made and not dry at all. None of their meats come out dry as is the case for taco trucks. If you come on Mondays you might just see a drag queen scarfing down 4 tacos.

Me and boyfriend ordered a carne asada burrito and two chicken tacos from here this past Saturday night after leaving the Offbeat bar. The food was delicious! One of the best taco trucks I’ve eaten at. The tacos and burritos were not greasy at all. Definitely worth the while! Stop by after a night of fun or just to munch!

Good tacos!!! I also tried the nachos. Everything was fresh and tasty. Not greasy at all. Liked their condiment bar with onions, cucumbers radishes etc. Prices are reasonable.

Definitely one of the better trucks. Prices are cheap. All carne asada burritos are the best. Horchata is also made from scratch.

Very good food. I have been only twice now, but in 2 weeks and it’s solid. Their pastor is great and probably my favorite meat choice so far of the three selections I have had; pollo and asada being the others. Their avocado salsa is perfect and spicy and the Huaraches are really good. Generously topped with crema, shredded cabbage and queso fresco. The most expesive items are only $ 5; Huaraches, Burritos and Tortas I think. everything else is $ 1 and $ 2. Tacos are $ 1 but they are small like you’d find across the border. Good though. Fresh condiments for topping are available too and plenty of parking in the lot behind Rite Aid.

My favorite taco truck! The sopes and huaraches are the best! I love that they will substitute avocado for cheese/sour cream. Their salsas are so good. Be sure to try the light green one, it’s so delicious and unique.

Great Taco Truck now parks on the back side parking of Ride Aid & Abe 64. Been coming here now for the past 2 years and never been disappointed with any of the menu items. The Asada Tacos, Tripas are the Bomb. There Salsas Spicy, and Tasty.

A good spot, quick service, meat is well cut, and actually looks like steak unlike many places I have visited. Take a chance, try it out and pair your tacos or burritos with some good salsas.

I go back for the carne asada burrito and tacos al pastor. Good flavor. Fast, flavorful and a value. All the condiments are outside the truck for personalization of the food. Once in three visits, may find one little piece of gristle in the burrito, but for the price, who gives a shit. Uncharacteristically friendly couple behind the window. Good service. Rarely a line. TACOS(8 choices) $ 1 each; portion = appropriate for a $ 1 taco BURRITOS $ 5 each(good sized) Located at the curb of the Rite-Aid. Go.

These tacos hit the spot, salsas were plenty and tacos were hot off the comal. The tortas are just as good if not better.

I think the first reviewer might be exaggerating just a bit but to each is own… Not a Truck but a Trailer named Tacos Savannah, not sure about delicious but just OKIMO, better than El Piqué… YES, better than La Estrella NO way… Tacos — Carne Asada — Lean, tender with pretty good flavor 4-Stars Carnitas — Mild flavor, s-l-i-g-h-t-l-y dry nowhere near 5-star Carnitas, in my book OK at best 3-Stars Buche –Dorado — Best tasting taco out of the group, I asked for the buche to be cooked Dorado and they did a good job, crispy crunchy with nice flavor 4-Stars Al Pastor — NO trompo on this trailer, the pastor has a heavy pineapple flavor, so I’ll assume they use a bunch of pineapple juice in their marinade, while it tastes OK flavors are unbalanced 3-Stars Salsa — Salsa roja was good, nothing special but did the job. Ceviche Tostada de Camaron — This is so not a proper ceviche… chop up some cucumber, onion and cilantro and put it on a tostada, and top it with a few avocado slices and a few large pieces of shrimp does NOT make for good eats 2-Stars AVG: — 3.2-Stars

This is a review for the Taco Truck parked outside the Rite Aid on York near ave 64. It is delicious. It is 100 times better than the more popular La Estrella further down York. It is about 500 times better than El Piqué whose carne asada burrito gave me some major food poisoning. It is also parked around the corner from my apartment. When eating from a Taco Truck I don’t expect a lot. Usually the meat is tough, greasy and old tasting, the interior is filthy and the customer service gruff. Savanah blew my mind. I got a carnitas quesadilla. Some of the best, tender and flavorful and fresh tasting carnitas with tons of cheese in a flour tortilla with lettuce, sour cream and pico de gallo on the side for $ 4.50. I peeked inside through the windows and the interior was immaculate. Always a good sign. The woman taking my order was really nice and personable at 10:30pm on a Thursday. They even had stools and a small table where one could presumably sit. Please, make the extra trek down York and give these guys your business. They deserve it!
