Delicious and authentic Mexican food. Everytime we go there, the food is great and the fresh tortillas are home made. No where in town does the food taste as good as this place.

Amazing food! Super friendly staff! :) Definitely recommend! The super burrito was the best I’ve had in a long time! Makes me want one just thinking of it.

I have worked in the area for almost 10 years and have visited Tacomiendo for just as long because it’s just that good. Being a vegan, I always get a veggie burrito with black beans and all the fixins except for cheese and sour cream, but when I was a carnivore I would either get their carnitas burrito or their chicken quesadilla. The burritos are large enough for me to only eat half(unless I want to be in pain for the remainder of the day) and take the other half back to the office for the next day’s lunch. You get a generous portion of tortilla chips with your meal(at least with the burritos and quesadillas). The taco salad is HUGE. I used to have a co-worker who was a little person and the tortilla shell was so big that he could’ve used it to sail across the Narrow Sea to Essos, or at least to the Iron Islands. He seemed to like it, because he always ordered it. Oh, and I also like the little condiments bar which offers complimentary radishes and those onions and carrot chunks floating in some sort of tart marinade.(I think it’s akin to curtido but am not sure). And their aguafrescas are great, too. Tacomiendo’s prices have risen a buck or two in the last 10 years but that’s to be expected. It still beats Baja Fresh or its ilk hands down, though.

This is a hidden gem! The food is delicious and they may have the best chicken tacos I have ever had. I would never complain or get bored if I had to eat lunch here everyday. Also, you must try the fruit juices, watermelon is my favorite.

Ay. My homie lives down the street from this jawn, so we walked to the spot. This was the first time I had ever been to California, and I asked him where the tacos were at. I needed to know because my flight was at midnight and it was around 7PMPST. Best believe he put me on to the real shit to round out my trip. I asked for three tacos thinking I was gonna get some small shits like how tacos tend to be on the East Coast(where i’m from). Man oh man, was I wrong. I got three big DUMBASS chicken tacos made specifically how I asked. The tortillas were mega-soft, and when I asked for toppings like onions and salsa, the kind woman behind the counter directed me to their station that contained all of my needs. What sealed the deal on this jawn was the fact that they offered bottled sodas, but only in liter form. You already know I scooped the liter of Mexican Coke to make my cipher complete.

Good carnitas. Some Shrimp still had their dirty vein intact. Good tortillas. Good chips. Good condiments.

This place is the BOMBDOTCOM. I’m glad to say I’ve found my local, go-to Mexican joint. I got half carne asada and half carnitas, which they made for me for no extra charge. How great is that! The burritos are $ 7.25, $ 7.90 with tax. The burrito came and was massive. HUGE. And they were heavy handed on the guac, which is awesome. No skimping here. I’m also suuuper impressed by their their salsa bar. In particular, I have to highlight their pickled onion, carrot, jalapeño, garlic concoction. OMG. The flavors all melded together made me come back for second and thirds! I would buy a whole bottle of that if I could. It’s nicely flavored, with the right amount of spicy. I even asked for their business card because it was so good. Until I find another Mexican place to usurp this place, I shall frequent this place of business gladly.

Tacomiendo is now my go-to Mexican joint on the westside! I come from the east side of LA, so I’ve been blessed with amazing Mexican food, and after moving to the westside, I feel like my life has been deprived of delicious lengua, cabeza, guacamole, and dank-as-hell burritos/tacos. Most mexican places on the west-side offer your basic extremely dry carne asada or carnitas, and they don’t serve the real gems — cabeza and lengua. THANKFULLY, I can get my lengua burrito fix here! I enjoy getting the lengua burrito here. The lengua is suuper tender, flavorful, and juicy. Their guac is awesome as well. My personal order here is a lengua burrito with rice, guac, and pico de gallo. The price is really decent, and all the burritos come with chips so you can load up with salsa at the salsa bar and have yourself a nice big meal. The salsas at the salsa bar are excellent as well. My one gripe about this place is that it closes at 10PM. I’m a late eater, and I usually get extreme burrito cravings around midnight, so every time I go on Unilocal to find a cure for my munchies, I always re-discover the fact that Tacomiendo is already closed by 10PM. However, if you’re looking for an authentic mexican place on the westside during regular-people dining hours, then this is your place! If there is another mexican place on the westside with lengua and cabeza made well with decent prices, please let me know. But for now, this is my joint. Come in and eat some burritos guys! I know everyone on the westside is deprived of legit mexican food, so here’s your place to satisfy your mexican food cravings

The order: Pescado Taco — lots of fish but slightly dry Adobado Taco — Not as flavorful as I’m used to but a nice intro to this style of taco protein Asada Taco — Tender, but needed a bit more flavor from seasoning and/or marinade They have plenty of options at the side bar as far as toppings go. The interesting thing here is that the tacos do not come with any garnishes, it’s just the meat and the tortilla. You top as you please. Their chili verde is perfectly balanced. Their salsa could use a little more meat and their pico is fairly flat. They also offer all types of bottled soda, including Mexican Sprite and Coca-Cola, but in liter form only. So if you’re dining solo, that’s going to be a lot of soda for you. Parking is a little tough during busy times. They share a parking lot with several auto service businesses. Street parking is close but there only a handful of spots available there too. Great for beginners.

Great impromptu stop while driving by during rush hour with a hungry kid and 2 hungry parents. I tried a shrimp soft tacos and a chicken hard taco. I also nibbled on my daughter’s chicken soft taco and black beans. All was delicious and very fresh. I look forward to trying other items on the menu at another time.

Legit Mexican food, nuff said. Got a Carne Asada burrito, and it comes with guacomole inside. MMPH so good. Ate the whole thing and I am stuffed but satisfied. Also, the salsa bar was freshly made with great flavor.

It was a very ok experience eating here. I had the carne asada burrito and to me it felt like the rice wasn’t really that fresh. Toward the end I just started picking out the steak bits which did have good flavor. I would go back to try the agua frescas which looked very tasty. Also parking is a nightmare and you basically have to take a right turn to get out and find some place to turn around if u wanted to go left. They have a tiny lot but it’s shared with a car repair shop and other things. They do have a couple reserved spots just for them though.

This place will remind you of your moms kitchen. Smell of good food, and hot.: P I ordered a chicken and asada taco plate. The tacos had large chunks of meat. They did not hold back. Great flavor in the meat. The sauces on the other hand… weren’t so good. They seemed watered down. The wait was a little more than normal and the place had only a few people. The taste made up for that. You will be hot eating there. I don’t think they have AC. Overall, I’d try it again but call in for pickup if that is possible.

My boyfriend and I used to love this place — he’s been going here for probably 10+ years, but our last experience has led us to boycott this location indefinitely. Our last order, we picked up an asada super burrito and a chile relleno. Although he’s ordered their super burritos before, for some reason it was a wet burrito this time, which led to an unpleasant and soggy dining experience. Moreover, by the time he got through the meal, he had a stomachache and a terrible taste in his mouth, as the meat was not fresh. Although I enjoyed most of my chile relleno, I packed up half of it as leftovers for lunch at work. At the climax of my leftover meal, I found a rock hidden in it. A ROCK, YES, A ROCK. I had been baffled in the past by finding a bone in a vegetarian pizza, but A ROCK!!! Are you kidding me? Do you not clean your vegetables!!! I cannot discern whether it was from the chile relleno or the salsa — either way, they clearly do not handle their vegetables with care. I am sick to my stomach with the idea that I probably ate some dirt with my meal, and the feeling of biting on that rock is still reverberating on my molars. It’s a miracle I didn’t chip my tooth, but I sure as hell hope I didn’t crack it. Never again. NEVER, NEVERAGAIN.

This place was pretty good, and I’d go here again definitely! For starters, the prices are very reasonable. Most of their burritos are $ 6.75 and their super burrito is $ 7.75, which comes with enchilada sauce, guac, and sour cream lathered on top. They have a full salad bar, with pickled carrots and onions which are awesome. There is also a pot of pinto beans which are free. The only thing I didn’t like about this place which prevents me from giving it 4 stars is that the burrito was lukewarm. However, the flavor was good and it was a very solid burrito.

I love this place! Recommend coming at night since its quieter and emptier. The ladies who work here are so nice and hard working! They add to the authenticity of this restaurant. Most places will be labeled as «Mexican» but make their food Americanized. I loved loved loved that they had a variety of Jarritos drinks! Being on this side of Los Angeles, it’s often hard to find Jarritos in stores. It’s nice to know I don’t have to go to Mexican markets to get a cold Jarritos. I ordered the Lengua(tongue) burrito and it was insanely delicious. I’ve ordered Lengua(tongue) dishes at other restaurants and the meat would always taste dainty and tasteless. Here, the meat is tender, fresh and delicious. This is my go to place for authentic Mexican dishes as the people who are making your food know the dishes and how to make them. Love this place! Haven’t tried their other location but I’m sure if I’m in the area, I will give their other store a chance.

Meh, not impressed. I thought the prices were overpriced for what you get. The chips and salsa are 4 dollars and you get like 20 chips. They have a salsa bar which has some pretty good salsas that taste fresh. Loved their watermelon agua fresca. To add insult to injury, they have the worst parking lot set up ever.

Tacomiendo loosely translates to «impossible to find parking», LOL! Both this location and their other off Inglewood Blvd are nearly impossible to find parking without risking life or limb by idiot drivers piloting their low-flying vehicles past the driveways. When it comes to their food, however… the BOMB! Everything from the asada to carnitas to pollo is wonderfully flavorful and prepared just right. The tacos are larger than typical street style tacos for a lesser price, so don’t fret. Take a look at what you’re getting for the prices and you’ll agree its a great deal! The service is always great, both locations. If you haven’t given them a try, I definitely suggest you do… but make sure you’re hungry! Mahaloooo for reading!!! :D

Located in a non-descript area of the Westside, this place is as straight forward as it gets. Order at the counter, grab salsas at the mini-bar and sit at one of the handful of tables covered with a variety of tablecloths. Our carne asada and carnitas burritos were brought out and it felt like a task was before us with the size of these babies. Evenly filled with the various ingredients, you eventually need the help of at least a fork to get all the goodness. With our bellies full, we were happy to have parked down the block to have a bit of a digestive walk to the car. In addition we got a good value for our meals — look forward to coming back!

Okay, this place would get 4 stars if they didn’t take 30 minutes to give me my damn tacos! I admit, this place has really really good tortillas. It is served warm and tastes fluffy and homemade. I ordered the carne and pescado(fish) tacos. The carne wasn’t that tender but was seasoned very well. If you add some spicy salsa, pico de gallo, and cilantro, this taco is absolutely delicious. The pescado was okay. The fish was rather dry… I don’t think I’ll get this again. I also ordered the super nachos with carne asada which is a heaping amount of tortilla chips served with guacamole, cheese, and beans. This is not for the faint of heart. Trust me, you will be rolling yourself out of the restaurant because there is so much chips. I like how the carne is cut in actual strips rather than chopped up so it seems more like an actual meal instead of an appetizer. I definitely recommend you sharing this with a group of friends. It’s a great way to start off a meal. Service is meh. As I said earlier, it took about 30 minutes to get my damn food. I don’t know what they were doing back there but it shouldn’t have taken this long. They also didn’t apologize for lagging. Ambiance is also whatever. Kind of tacky with all of their weird and colorful plastic table cloths. I really do like their salsa station on the side. They offer fresh salsas, onions and carrots, and cilantro. This is also the only taco place I’ve been to where they offer free beans as well.
