Today was the first time I tried taco limon, they are located across the street from my office. This was hands down the worst lunch I’ve had in century city. I got the tostada salad with chicken and veggies(veggies were $ 1 extra). The veggies had a really bad after taste and the rest of the tostada was not tasty at all. The ingredients did not taste fresh and the meal was just bad! I will never eat here again!

This place is nearby the office where I work. I used to eat here often — not because the food is that good but rather because it is conveniently close by. Needless to say, the food is okay at best but the reason I enjoyed coming here was because the employees are always extremely polite and in a great mood & because it is so nearby and cheap — compared to other options in the area They have two food places in one — one side is Taco Limon which is like a Subway set up but with Mexican Food and the Pizza Benne(?) side which is where you can create your own individual pizza. I usually get a large chicken bowl with a soft drink and that comes out to be around $ 10.00 and some change or an individual pepperoni pizza with a drink which comes out to be around the same price. The seating area is large and you will usually see the people who work in the area. It can get packed but I’ve always found a seat. They also have outdoor seating. This place is nothing to go out of your way for but if you work in the area and need to grab a quick bite for lunch, this is a great option.

Walk in and you get a choice of build your own pizza or tacos/burritos… good for a lunch break, and everyone can get what they want. The food was average, but the price was right and the service was quick.

This place gets a four-star review because, for many of us in Century City, this is the only decent place to get a carne asada burrito without jumping in a car. If you are a purist and get your burro with only carne asada, cilantro and onion, and red salsa, you’ll find a flavor not unlike King Taco. The meat has a tinge of citrus, just like KT. The hot sauce could be a touch hotter, and when you get an extra helping of beef(necessary when you get no beans or rice), you’re looking at a $ 10 meat wrap, but like I said, decent carne within walking distance is huge for burro lovers in the CC.

The taco place is decent… especially during lunch break. Expensive? Somewhat, but it’s still cheapter than eating inside of Trimana(where the salad bar is weighed by the pound). A Chicken or beef taco with a side of beans(black, pinto, or refried) OR rice, and a hand full of chips costs $ 4.63. This is enough to carry me through the work day. Customers are allowed to pick their own toppings(similar to subway): cheese, lettuce, corn, onion w/cilantro, Pico De Gallo salsa, guacamole salsa, etc etc etc.. Taco Limon serves pizza, which are also decent for lunch breaks. The food isn’t gourmet, but it’s a lot better than being limited to Micky D’s for lunch.

This place is great. Good Pizza and good lunchtime mexican in the same spot. Good prices and great service make it a go to for lunch.

I love this place! Good food and fresh ingredients. Plus the staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. I tried the crappy Mexican place, Cilantro, across the street today and totally regretted it. Taco Limon is superior in every way!

Taco Limon is meh. It’s meh because it’s owned by Trimana. Trimana food is sub-par so that explains Taco Limon. It’s convenient and overpriced, but that’s why they are there. Anyways, the tacos/burritos are meh but the pizza saved them on this review. Overall, it’s two stars.

Food is really tasty! Burritos are huge and flavorful. Pizza is better than 800 degrees IMO

It’s the mexican version of a Subway. Choose your carbohydrate based vessel(tortilla, torta, shell, etc.) choose your meat filling and then your toppings. Nothing fancy, but it tastes good and is cheap. In this area it simply can’t be beat for the price point. Yes there is better near by for more money, but that’s not the point of this place. It’s Mexican fast food that is one step above Del taco and it’s way better than that cilantro grill joke across the street. So what if it’s owned by the same folks who own Trimana? It’s good for what it is.

I went in today, and they no longer have shrimp or grilled fish items. So they get knocked down a star because all of their chicken and beef items are sub-par for me. They still serve fried fish tacos, but that they don’t have fresh fish to grill in-house makes me think that they use premade or frozen fillets for the fryer. I see no need to visit Taco Limon anymore now that they stopped serving what I considered to be their saving grace.

I’ve gotten sick every time I’ve eaten here…3 times later(and the 3rd time wouldn’t have happened if a coworker didn’t insist) and I will never eat here again. I’ve gotten different dishes every time, and the result in the same… the next 3 – 4 hours in the bathroom. If no stars was an option, that would be my rating. Even if your stomach is stronger than mine, the food is mediocre at best. Save your bowels and go to Cilantro(or the soon-to-be-opened Chipotle at the Centry City mall) instead

Decent place with the limited options around. No real service, but food is on the fresher side. The lunch combo for 2 tacos(with small side of rice & beans) and a drink for $ 5.99 is their best deal to carry you through the day.

This place is just a ghetto rip off of Chipotle. The food isn’t great but it isn’t bad. I suggest to just make your own wet burrito at home before wasting $ 8+ here. The customer service doesn’t exist here. I’ve heard the shrimp tacos are suppose to be good but after my first visit and ordering a chicken burrito I think that’ll be my last. My friend ordered a burrito and they messed up the order and the lady at the counter said«oh well, that’s how you ordered it!» and gave his burrito back. My friend demanded her money back and the cashier lady refused until I and a few guys from the restaurant intervened with our concerns. I’ll never eat here again.

Ah, the Mexican Trimana… Same shitty, nasty Mexican food from Trimana, just in another location. This is owned by and has the same employees as nasty ass Trimana across the hall. That being said, it’s awful. If this wasn’t downstairs in my office building, I wouldn’t have anything to do with it. It’s a wannabe Baja Fresh, La Salsa, etc. but done in a really shitty, shoddy way, that would fit right in a third world country as a glimpse of «authentic Mexican food». I love how they claim they use cotija cheese, but it’s really cheap parmesan. The people are friendly and it’s somewhat quick, but it’s not worth it. I love how pretentious they are when you pay via credit card. There’s a field for the tip and then ANOTHER field for«additional tip.» WTF is that? Firstly, tipping at a fast food joint like this and then an additional tip? Riiiiight. Ok, I unfortunately went back there again today since there was nothing better to eat. I’m dialing my review down to a 1. I’d give them a zero if I could. Their ordering process is an absolute mess with two lines. Then, they don’t care and the eight people in the back work on one order at a time. So it takes them even longer to do stuff. For example, literally 20 minutes to make a quesadilla. This place is ridiculous.

Is this place some sort of joke? It’s the EXACTSAME Mexican food that’s available in the Trimana cafeteria a stone’s throw away… but repackaged as some sort of ghetto Chipotle wannabe. I haven’t eaten here, but after walking in and seeing the same exact food — and getting a whiff of that muggy Trimana food smell — I turned around and walked right back out.

I agree wholeheartedly with the previous reviewer! This was one of the most filtered, white washed examples of wannabe Mexican food I’ve ever tried! It’s a complete lie to serve tacos al pastor like they do; more like boiled chicken! Remember these words: plain, boring, tasteless. And don’t forget EXPENSIVE!

I know they just opened today, but I really disliked the food. I hope they get there business together, because everything from the service, to the menu, to the food was no bueno. I was very excited to see a Mexican restaurant open down the street from my office in Century City, so when they had their grand opening, I had to come down and try it! I ordered the 3 Taco Basket with the Chicken Al Pastor. The chicken was just OK, it was tender but had no flavor. The other meat options did not look appetizing. It was topped with lettuce, cheddar cheese, and pico de gallo. If you wanted anything else added it was $ 1 each(sour cream, guacamole, corn, beans, rice). They had about 6 people behind the counter, so why did it take 15 minutes to get 3 tacos? The tacos were soggy by the time I sat down and they were dripping liquid from the salsa. I was not impressed or excited about their menu. It was basically a knock off of Chipotle. I hope that they just had first day jitters and it improves drastically. They are having an opening fiesta on June 6, 2011. I’d rather drive all the way to Chipotle in Beverly Hills.
