I lived at Swall Towers fro December 2014 to July 2015. During that time I found the building to be immaculate at all times. The manager, Louise takes great care with the building maintenance and everyone that lives there. As I traveled often, she watched things without being asked. Yes, its an old building, but any maintenance request was handled quickly and efficiently. She even noticed shortly before I moved out that my AC was not functioning as efficiently as it should and replaced the compressor. The only reason I moved was that I just didn’t need to be there as often and no longer needed a place in LA. I would not hesitate to move back there if I did.

Still love it here. Have to move back east and so sad to leave S.T. I will never find a place like this where I’m going. Thanks Louise and owners for an amazing 9+ years!

Clean and secure. Good security systems and intercom/door buzzer system. My apartment is pretty and has a view. Other tenants are cool, a lot of Cedars Sinai and entertainment industry people. Neighborhood is also great, lots of restaurants and shops you can walk to.

My apartment is very comfortable and the management has been very responsive to any problems I have. The building is kept clean and is in a great location. I have been very happy here for many years. I have read a negative review about the manager but my experience has been really positive.

If I could give it negative stars I would. Oh yeah, and the positive reviews on are CLEARLY written by the manager. Don’t believe them! Once I gave notice, the manager called me several times a day to show the apartment. She would never give me proper notice(legally 48 hours, and in writing), she would always call me the day of. She is C-R-A-Z-Y!!! I never slept the whole night through in this apartment. The construction is so poor that there are squeaky floors all over the place. When someone walks around upstairs it will wake you up! Even if you’re in a «penthouse» unit, the air conditioning units and/or perpetually broken jacuzzi are right above your unit and will wake you up, as well. So, unless you don’t like to sleep and you enjoy a manager calling you three times a day about stupid problems, I wouldn’t rent this apartment!
