I ordered crunchy dragon roll. Not the best dragon roll I’ve had, qualified enough to eat though, except it’s a little pricy.

There are a lot of different food stands, fruit and cool stores. We had lunch at Sushi-A-Go-Go because we want to try something different in a farmer’s market. Their sashimi is fresh and the today special sushi of that day is really delicious. Their Miso Soup is pretty good too. We went to «the French Crêpe Co.» for dessert. We ordered La Napoleon which we customize our own crêpe. Their crêpe is made upon order so the crêpe is pretty fresh and really good!!!

Small and great !!! Always nice sushi and service with a smile. Got to love these small businesses they are a team of hardworking guys and calls and never had a bad experience. Sometimes the wait is a few minutes extra but all worth it. Love their ‘timum’ roll and all others. It’s mostly for grab and go sushi needs. It’s the farmers market don’t expect gourmet but you do get quality sushi, good service and make a small business thrive Ohh — Chirashi bowl is amazing

I was here with my family and was hungry so I said I am craving some sushi, so I ordered a Yellow Tail roll and Tuna Roll. The order was prepared very quickly and I sat down the fish did not look fresh very bland rolls no flavor even with soy sauce. My daughter wouldn’t try it and my wife only had one piece of each roll and said very bland and warm. I finished and felt for $ 18.00 I got ripped off and was still hungry so I ordered some pizza. I felt this place was overpriced and lacks flavor and small portions.

First of all, I’ve got to give this place five stars because of the exceptional service they provide. Customer service and recognition of a usual like myself – since I work at The Grove – is fantastic and orders are done within the time frame of which they say it’ll be done. Exceptional sushi for a quick lunch or curbing of a craving. Very good! Love their Spicy California Roll and their Dragon Rolls! Actually, I just love all their dishes. Try them out.

I move from Wisconsin to LA this week. I tried a lot of sushi places in Wisconsin, and by far no one has exceeded this place. Me and my friends order the crunchy dragon and hot California roll. The Umami taste of the rolls bring my tongue to the joy. Will definitely come to this restaurant again.

There prices are a bit high for the portion size, but that typical what you get where ever you eat at the Farmer’s Market at the Grove. Luckily I wasn’t very hungry that night, so I only ordered there California roll. They roll was surprisingly delicious. I would definitely come back the next time I’m in the neighborhood and looking for a quick bite.

No. Just no. $ 40 for 16 pieces of sashimi that was bland(even the eel)… I’m extremely disappointed, however, what the heck am I to expect from a tiny little sushi stand in the middle of the Farmer’s Market at the Grove. I convinced my friend not to go to an outrageously expensive restaurant in LA last night because, well, I didn’t want to spend a crap load of money on a small portion of food. Well, clearly the universe gave no f***s about what I wanted because I wound up ordering two portions of sashimi(8 pieces each) and then two orders of eel sashimi($ 5 for 2 slices– ugh). If I could, I would have aborted this mission before swiping my credit card but my friend I was with already had her pulled pork sandwich, so I felt pretty crunched for time… Gah! Feeling pressured = «FINE, I’ll do it.» Well, let’s just say, it probably would have been quicker to order a piece of grilled fish at the fish«stand» next door… Unfortunately I did not have any cash on me, ugh– ALWAYSREMEMBERCASHPEOPLE… So about 15 minutes later(it’s RAWFISH– how hard is that to «prepare»)… I finally observed the sushi chef as he went to work on my plate. If you made some menu modifications to your meal, it’s smart to stick around and see what they’re doing because I had to correct said sushi chef at least five times… I don’t care how annoying I may have sounded– IMGETTINGWHAT I WANTFOR $ 40… And you should READTHESPECIFICATIONSONMYORDER! Common now! This is LA, there are ALWAYSMENUMODIFICATIONS! After I finally received my entrée, I sat down with my friend, who was FINISHED with her meal at that point, and wolfed this plate down in 5 seconds… 16 pieces is not nearly enough but I could NOT justify spending another $ 20 on more bland pieces of sashimi. Nope. I was very disappointed with the eel as well, for a sushi item that is supposed to be bursting with flavor, it tasted like gooey dirt. The only thing that was mediocre about this little whole in the wall, was that the woman taking my order was cute and the sushi chef did modify TWO of the fish I ordered(typical you’re only allowed one substitution)… Well, I swapped out both the shrimp(allergy) and the egg(allergy)… Plus the egg and shrimp are totally just CHEAPFILLERS, don’t play games with me Sushi GoGo or whatever, I’m a fish aficionado, I know what’s up. I should get that tattooed to my forehead. What REALTSUCKS is that I have been DYINGFORSUSHI for the past week(much like a meth addict goes into withdrawals when trying to detox) and this meal didn’t satisfy ATALL!!! I kept telling myself that I have some food I can eat when I get home… As this was solely an appetizer. Hey, at least my friend got what she wanted and we got to catch up, I mean, that’s what getting meals with friends is all about, right? No. No it’s not! Ha! The bright side– I still spent less than I would have if I went to that expensive restaurant I mentioned earlier!

I’ve been coming here for over 5 years ! Quality is fantastic and portion size for price is always great. Quality doesn’t disappoint. Murakami is still my goto place for sushi and chiraschi but this is my number two !

For the price that they charge, they should put a lot more fish on the rolls and charge less. Shame on them, tourist gouging! You’ll surely go broke and leave hungry, what a winning combination. NOT!

The worst sushi ever. The eel roll I got, was filled with some cheap«creamy like» imitation crab mix. The eel was like 1−8″ thick slices in top of some meager white rice. The bulk of the rolls was that fake crab stuff. This is one of these places that have continuous, unaware, mon repeat clients, probably mostly tourists, or people like me that are local but just picked the wrong place to have a Sushi bite. Please go somewhere else !

They have good portions, the place is just a booth, in the farmers market. My meal was around $ 14 and the veggies weren’t fresh, the avocado was brown and the wasabi looked yellowish.

I don’t eat sushi that often but I got the #3 combo. Good selection and large portions. I enjoyed my meal. It was quick and good service. I little pricy but I would eat there again.

Tiny little sushi bar in the middle of the farmers market near The Grove. Spicy lobster and crunchy dragon are awesome.

What you get from Sushi A Go Go is much fresher than what you would get at most Asian markets or to-go sushi places. Don’t drop by the booth, expecting your A-quality sushi, because as the name suggests, Sushi A Go Go is really just a convenient eatery at the Farmers Market for those who want a quick bite of some rolls and sushi. Also, why would you order a bowl of udon from here? Please go to Tsujita or Marugame instead.

This place should be called Sushi A No No. I got the rainbow roll and a miso soup. The soup is fair. The sushi roll doesn’t taste fresh at all. The avocado is an odd day glo yellow color. The wasabi is rock hard. I give it two stars because I’ve had worse and the people were really nice.

Good service and good food. I went here on a Sunday and ordered a delicious hot California roll with a miso soup. I enjoyed the good very much but not the prices but what can you expect from sushi it’s hard to be cheap and still have quality. The reason I have it two stars is because of my cousins udon soup. For something that costs around $ 12 you would think it would be something from a pot and not a packet right? Actually I watched as the cashier lady made the soup by adding hot water, a packet of udon mix, some scallions, noodles and call it good. $ 12 is a ridiculous price to pay for a soup packet and hot water I’m sure my cousin will never be getting it again. Aside from that the sushi was good but really the udon was a complete letdown.

My daughter was craving either a burrito, a cheeseburger or sushi(I’ve long stopped trying to figure out the mind of a 10 yo) so after walking around the Farmers Market, came across Sushi a Go Go. We stared at the menu board long enough for her to know she wanted a #2 and a #10 for us to «share» since the pictures looked like it was a lot of food. They were very friendly with taking our order(she placed it) and let us know to come back in around seven minutes. It was fresh, good tasting and definitely fixed the craving we both had. We washed it down with a Japanese soda in a can which really wasn’t a bad way to go(their only other choices are bottled water and canned green tea). It’s far from the best you’ll ever have but if you’re in the Farmers Market and craving sushi, not a bad lunch or dinner!

My boyfriend and I come here about once a week, it’s easy and your average sushi for a farmers market. They’re also really consistent which is great. We’ve had several items from their menu but last night I tried their shrimp tempura noodle soup, similar to an udon. It was delicious. The noodles had the perfect chewiness and the soup was light and flavorful. Their shrimp tempura(which comes on the side but for my pic I added it into the soup for presentation) is really crispy and just like any other tempura, really delicious. I’m always going back so that must say something right?

My nephew was interested in finding some Sushi in the Farmers Market and we found this place. The nephew ordered two California rolls and they were nice enough to make me a spicy tuna bowl(it was not on the menu) it wasn’t bad for sure but it wasn’t anything particularly special. The chopsticks were very cheesy and all of the kitchenware is plastic… for $ 40 I would hope for a little better.
