Been here only once and the experience wasn’t great. Their oven was being cleaned so they couldn’t toast the bread. They were out of onions, and they put tomatoes on the whole sub when we’d requested them only for half of it.

My experience here was NOT a good one. I ordered a 6″ tuna sandwich– i asked for 2 different types of cheeses– which i was then informed was NOT available–«we only have pepper jack». They didn’t have bacon or lemon tea. Mind you, this was 8:30am at a 24-hr Subway… there should be enough supply for demand of a 24 hr location. DISAPPOINTED. Additionally, I asked for 3 onions to which then a HANDULWASTOSSED onto the sandwich.(I had to handpick out later). Then, for experience– the speaker just kept saying«Subway Radio» EVERYMINUTE.

Came here instead of my usual Subway because it was late and they didn’t have meatball marinara anymore. Made my order online expecting it to be ready for me to run in and grab it… Not the case. Went in and 2 of the 3 people I saw working there were on their phones. I said I’m picking up an order and one of them said they hadn’t seen it yet(I wonder why) and that she’ll make it right now. While waiting, saw a couple roach-looking bugs on the floor right by my feet… Currently debating if I really want to eat this sandwich.

When I first saw the bad reviews for this place I was kinda confused. Aren’t all subways the same? How could one be worse than the other? Now I know why. First off, the prices are somehow higher than the other subways in Culver City… Second, the employees have literally no concept of customer service or consistent sandwich construction. They weren’t especially friendly and the guy making my sub literally just tossed everything on and then proceeded to not even cut the footlong in half… um WTF? They were missing Oregano and the guy making my sandwich was also bickering with his co worker about taking up the sandwich space with chopped salad prep bowls. Whoever runs this place does not actually train the employees or monitor their competence. You can get a cheaper sub with better service at the 7⁄11 or donut king across the street.

You know what grinds my gears??? When you tell them what kind of sandwhich, on what kind of bread and then they ask you what kind of sandwhich youd like. When the music is loud enough to drown out the soft spoken voice and you have to ask 3 times for the person to repeat themselves and put your hand up to your ear signaling that you cannot hear them due to low voice volume and loud music. they turn to their co worker, smile and laugh. as if im not understanding english and I am CLEARLYNOTABLETOSEEYOUANDYOURTERRIBLESERVICE, when clearly the VOLUMEATWHICHYOUSPEAKISSOLOWITISNOTAUDIBLE ! YES1STARFOR A ANNOYINGLYBADEXPERIENCE. Yes I have eaten here many times and have never any experience like this, wow, great hiring choice. I did not ask for a free meal and have no problem with this location, in fact i may just have to get a job there and then introduce the two young ladies that worked tonight what customer service really is. and of course common sense.

The girl got my order right but she seemed annoyed I was there. They also said they were done with flatiza’s but they still had them on the menu. My food tasted like it was supposed to(a la Subway) but as for the location, I may stick to the one down the street.

Pros: its Open 24 hours. Cons: came here at 11:30pm after working late and the service sucked. A young kid(16−18yr old looking) was the only one there, all the ingredients were put away since they were«cleaning» so had to wait for them to finish before they got to my sandwich but what drives my 1 star review is the clerk/kid attitude(very rude), not even a hello when I walked thru the door.

I have been getting the chicken chopped salads with oil & vinegar dressing at Subways lately, and I’ve been loving them. So, on my way to do errands yesterday, I thought I’d stop by this location for a change and get one. I walked in, and there were absolutely no other patrons. The three people(two women and a short man) standing behind the counter were all speaking Spanish to each other, and didn’t look up when I walked up to the counter. I thought that maybe their minds were just not focused at the moment because no one else was in there. No big deal. I gave them a moment to readjust. After a moment, the guy was selected to serve me, and walked over to me. He didn’t look at me. I kept smiling at him, and he maintained a very cold expression on his face. Very rude. I told him what I wanted, and he just walked away without saying anything. I didn’t know where he went, or if I should stay or go, and the female employees just kept talking to each other. Finally, the guy came back with a bowl. I asked if he had feta cheese. They don’t carry it there. Okay. I went ahead and proceeded to order my salad anyway. The whole time was«helping» me, he was talking with the other employees, so it wasn’t a surprise that when he started pouring the oil into the salad, he didn’t stop. I couldn’t believe my eyes. I had to tell him, «Stop! That’s enough!». I paid, and he simply put the salad in a bag and walked away. He never even asked if I was planning to eat there, or wanted to take the food to go.(I wanted to eat there.) So I sat down at a table, took my salad out of the bag, and started to eat it. It was drenched in oil and disgusting. I took about four bites, and then did something I’d never done before: I took it back and asked for my money back. The rude little guy who had made the salad was rather combative with me, and was challenging why I wanted to return it. I told him it wasn’t good, and I don’t like the feeling I’m getting in there, and that I just wanted to go. I told him the customer service here is really bad. My explanation didn’t satisfy him, and he kept challenging me, as if I were a child who needed his guidance and discipline to learn how to give the right answer. That was the only time during my visit that he engaged me at all. Hilarious. I took my money and walked out. Never again.

Let me just start of by saying that out of all the breakfast fast food runs I could do, I choose to do a Subway mega melt on english muffin with egg whites and pepper jack cheese, loaded with veggies because it tastes amazing, fresh, filling and not unhealthy. At all the Subways I have frequented for breakfast over the years for this menu item, the service has been fast and efficient, I’m in and out and off to work in less than five minutes! And this is what I expect from any national fast food chain. But this place is a terrible, horrible, no good mess. The employee turnover seems quite high as every time I’m here it’s another trainee taking their time and messing up my sandwich. This week I had a craving for my go to breakfast sandwich and was here yesterday morning when they completely burned my sandwich by over toasting it. It was heated to the point where the sausage and muffin were rock hard. So gross. I should have learned my lesson but I was running late today and had to grab a sandwich on my way to work. The store was basically empty and it still took me 15 minutes to get my order. The«sandwich artist» Elva, didn’t even know how to make the mega melt when I ordered it and asked her lackluster co worker who just grunted. I basically had to walk her through the ingredients and tell her how to build the damn sandwich. What kind of training are they giving their employees? To make matters worse, they had only about 50% of the selection of veggies available, no spinach, no lettuce, cilantro and tomatoes looked old and nasty. WTF? And they had no tapatio hot sauce which I always get along with my chicken noodle soup. This place should be stripped of the Subway name, it is the absolute worst.

This is actually my 2nd time putting up this review for L.A. Subway on Venice near Motor, the first somehow getting deleted. Not sure why, but I’m going to describe the absolutely horrible experience with this place. Last November Subway was running a special. 6″ subs were on a buy-one-get-one free status before 9:00am each day. I arrived in this Subway on 11⁄27 at 8:45am and proceeded to place my order, specifying I wanted to get the but-one-get-one free deal, and I received an immediate response of «I’ve never heard of that deal.» Now keep in mind, the sandwich boy making this statement was standing directly under a sign advertising this very deal. I pointed this out to him and he proceeded to read the ad out loud from I’d say a 3rd grade reading level. His next response was«Okay, I guess I can do that.» So I started, once again, to place my order and I was interrupted with his next comment: «It only applies to bacon, egg, & cheese because that’s what’s on the picture.» I gave up at that point. I then leave a message for the manager to call me, which he never did… so I then use the official Subway website to lodge a complaint. I did finally get a call back from some district manager who was reciting from Subway protocol and offering me a free sandwich… which I declined. No way am I stepping foot into that place again, even for a free sandwich. The district manager said he would watch the video from that morning and call be back… but he never did. This review I am going to copy and paste onto my desktop, in the event that Unilocal or Subway make it disappear again.

i come here out of necessity after a late night and i need food that is somewhat healthier than mcdonalds but i have noticed a trend wiht some of the night staff. some of them have an attitude and get visbly pissed off with customers who ask too many questions or requests too many substitutions. i have seen this happen like three or four times. it usually one guy in particular that is usually in need of a few Midol pills. not sure what his problem is but wont be back.

I stop by here after finished my dentist appointment to get some lunch, and got a great and quick service with a smile. Great $ 5.00 foot long for lunch.

Not gonna review the food, because Subway is pretty consistent overall(some places have cilantro and/or spinach, which is great… I forget if this place has either/both). Now, the pluses: 1) Open 24 hours 2) Has tables(yes, there are some take-out only Subways out there). 3) Easy access to the I-405 N onramp(just make a right out of the parking lot onto Sepulveda).

OMG! Okay so I really don’t mean to sound harsh but if your job for a living is to make sandwiches, the least you can do is make it right for your customer. I asked for a sandwich with everything except cucumbers and pickles. The employee only put cucumbers and pickles. I then asked for oil and vinegar and mayo, no mustard, she piled mustard on my sandwich and proceeded to wipe it off with a wet napkin. I would not touch that sandwich after seeing that grotesque display of food handling. This was only my experience but I really do love subway. This was just gross. So if you come to this subway, elaborate for foods sake =[[

Once in a while I crave random foods like a knocked up teenie from the Midwest. Pickles and chocolate. Ramen and then some kettle corn. Etc etc. Last night, I had to have me some subway. With all the fixins’ of vinegar, lettuce, cheese, all smacked into a huge foot long of… Well you know. But it was 1 am, and we are talking about the westside, so I used the little brain cells I had left(post booze and food), and zoned in on a vague memory of a beautiful, red sign that had said 24! Think… Must… Have… sandwhich… Shit. I should have Jared fogle on speed dial from now on. Wait! I see it!!! I remember! Next to Versailles, where the bums like to shoot up! A 24 hour subway! There is a subway god after all! But seriously kiddies, go with someone here if ur stopping in late, don’t wanna see your faces plastered on Fox because some bum was covering your juicy sub. Happy eatings! Go 24!

The $ 5 footlong deal is really attractive, but for about $ 1.50 more, you can have meat in your sandwich… Prime Rib. We gave the Prime Rib footlong a try two weeks ago, with pepperjack cheese, Chipotle Southwest sauce and all the fixings. This new sandwich might breathe life to those who are getting sick of the $ 5 ones. The service is fine. Located inside a small strip mall on Venice, parking here is relatively easy see pics of the sandwich!
