02/27/2016 First time here: So I won’t come here again. They charge 0.25 for spoons when you know employees use freely. It costs pennies on the dollar and you want to make your patrons pay for it. So basically Subway is getting the plastic utensils for free because we pay for them. Not cool.

Very convenient lunch spot whether I’m coming or going through Union Station to catch the Red Line or the Metrolink. Never a problem with getting what I want and plenty of it. I can even walk the 2 blocks from work just to take it back to my desk timely enough. Arrive early or there will be a long line, though someone is usually taking orders before you even get to the counter when things are backing up. Usually a pretty quick flow through regardless. Tuna is almost always my choice, though the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki is another favorite as well. Way better subs then Quiznos or Jersey Mike’s wherever I’ve tried them.

Order the veggie delight and they were stingy with veggies. What da!!! had to fight to get more veggies on my veggie sandwich. Who ever owns the franchise, don’t try to save a dollar with your customers

Ugh. How you mess up a sandwich and soup is beyond me. My soup was sour. This was not eating fresh. The attitude was what tipped this all over. The sighing and shaking of the head while checking out. No Bueno. Literally, I would not eat here even if I was starving.

Its 9pm and just about everything is getting ready to close down for the night. I have about an hour to wait before my train departs the station. Luckily this Subway location is still open and there is no line. I ordered the Spicy Italian and that was a well needed late night meal. This is just a simple food court style location face and there were tables attached to the ground(no chairs, you need to stand while eating). Only recommendation is to have a worker occasionally wipe down those tables. Then again they were also in the process of shutting down for the night. Great spot, location in the terminal, and prices as usual

I usually come down to this subway during my lunch break. I go all the way down to Barista Society for some coffee and then stop by subway for a quick lunch. Typically, it’s just like any other subway, but today I had an exceptionally terrible experience here. I ordered a foot long Sweet Onion Teriyaki Chicken sandwich. I had finished eating one half of the sandwich and then ate about a fourth of the second half when I had bitten into something hard. I pulled this plastic shard from out of my mouth. I then felt a little queasy – I think it’s just the placebo effect, but for real I hope that I did not ingest any plastic shards. I discretely come over and tell the worker behind the register that I found this piece of plastic in my food. I don’t think she knew what to do, so she just said, «Oh, okay.» She looked lost – not even a half assed, «I’m sorry» left her lips. So if today I end up in the hospital, there is some documentation as to why.

Doesn’t stand out among any other Subways I’ve been to. Only come here when I want to eat something healthy for a fair price. I noticed they no longer have their $ 5 footlong deal but they do have a $ 6 combo now which has a 6″ sandwich(select few sandwiches to choose from) and comes with chips and drink. That’s good and fair enough for my lunch, I’d say. Small place, but whenever I come here, it’s not too busy. Tastes like any other Subway and like everyone else says, I also agree that their customer service can be improved. **No public restroom** –just thought I’d add a tip lol

I eat at this subway all the time. Maybe service has improved because I’ve never had an issue. During rush hour if there’s a long line the staff will come out with a notepad to see what you want. This can be stressful if you’re not familiar with the menu and too far to see it. Just tell them you need to see he menu first. On the plus side, this makes long lines move fast. Standard subway fare. Ask for more of whatever topping you want– never seen them give attitude or refuse.

Don’t hate. I appreciate my subway sandwich when i take the subway home. Service could be friendlier, but I wouldn’t be the peppiest Subway employee if I was making subs at Union Station for a bunch of on-the-goers eitherrrrr. I paid $ 4 for a 6 inch Veggie Delight the other night. I haven’t purchased a sandwich from Subway in awhilllllllleee so i’m not sure if this location just has jacked up prices? WHATHAPPENEDTO $ 5FOOTLONGS?! Is that not a thing anymore?

If I could give this subway no stars I would. It wasn’t busy and I wasn’t ready yet and the girl with the red head was so rude pretty much screamed at me «AREYOUREADY? !» Where are her manners? Dont give me attitude if i havent given you a reason to give me attitude. And Obviously I’m not ready if I’m still staring at the menu. Anyways super rude then when it came to asking for spinach she sprinkled very little on my foot long sandwich like as if that spinach was coming out her paycheck. Then the guy who rang me up I’m assuming he was the guy in charge the shift manager or whatever was rude as hell and didn’t give me my change back. Worst experience ever. From beginning to end.

Went to bite into the last part of my Turkey sandwich, and bit right into the a hard item, spit it out and it was disgusting. I’m not very happy about this, I would expect them to overlook the product before serving it to customers. I know this is possible because I, myself work in food and I make sure to overlook our product. However, the gentleman took the left over sandwich, the item I spit out and refunded my money with kindness and without an attitude.(Four stars to him)

Customer service could use some improvement — employees need to smile, say hello, welcome to Subway.

Typical Subway. This one is small since it’s inside LAUS. No refills on fountain drinks.

I’ve purchased a few sandwiches from this Subway location and they’re the same as any other Subway with all the usual trimmings. Store is small since it’s inside Union Station near the other shops/restaurants(on the Alameda side of the station). I guess there is only one downside to this place: no free refills on fountain drinks. No big deal for me since I don’t drink soda but some folks might not like that.
