If a «no» star was possible I would totally opt for that. The employees do not know how to smile or greet customers. They are in a «customer service» business but do not like people. I understand if customers were rude but the people that were ahead of me in line and myself were pretty friendly. The guy who was making my sandwich seemed like he was in a hurry and it wasn’t busy. I ordered my food and sat down, I had to use the restroom to which I was rudely told«Go to marshall’s we don’t let you use restroom.» I guess they can’t even provide a restroom for their customers.

This place is ghetto with ghetto management. This experience actually permanently ruins the chain for me although I’ve never experienced this at any other subway. So I’m on my way to the gym nearby and decided to stop in here for a side of chicken since I was really hungry, lacking on protein and since I cannot eat bread anymore and I don’t do the non organic vegetable thing when possible I only wanted chicken. This is Subway right, you can get sandwich or salad made to order anyway you like. So this should never be a problem. I was willing to and did in fact pay the full sandwich price for just my chicken. I didn’t complain about it or anything, in fact my cashier was friendly and I paid $ 6.00 for just my little tiny side of chicken. As I was gathering my things to head to the gym this manager guy pops out of no where and starts yelling at me how they can never do a transaction like that again? I’m sorry, like what? I pay for a half sandwich and get the meat only? Why? I can’t order my food and spend my money how I like? Not to mention no other Subway has ever had an issue with this. I told him fine, charge me $ 10 next time. The money isn’t an issue I just wanted the chicken only. He yelled back«No never again!» like I just shot his mother or something. So I advised him to stop speaking to me and he didn’t not, he harassed me as I was walking out the door and finally I told him correctly to get a life and an education. Corporate needs to investigate and fire this idiot promptly but you know what it doesn’t matter. I’m not returning. You shouldn’t either.

Unlike many a subways eat fresh commercials, it’s a go to for your traveling companion, a healthier but cheaper meal. It’s always had the best toasted so far that’s balanced on ingredients and not over stuffed like Quiznos unless you request extra meats. Nicely laid out sandwich preparation.

Worst subway I’ve been very been into, they didn’t even have the sandwich line ready and I got an ugly sandwich. The person with the button that says person in charge was a complete douche. Did I mention he is a diva too at the same time. All I did was ask for feta and he looked me like wtf you asking for feta for? And said no feta. As a restaurant manager the level of service is so low. It’s funny how people like that can be a manager over someone else who is more qualified. When you are in front of many customers you can’t just talk crap in Spanish and not expect people to understand. Ignorant idiot manager can’t manage his staff.

5 stars only because I’m a subway manager and no what to expect. Came here with my friend starving and Priscilla helped us and she was awesome. Great attitude and great service I will definitely come back to this location! Thanks Priscilla

I am a retired Subway sandwich artist, and being one, I expect a certain level of respect from current sandwich artists at Subway restaurants. This was NOT the case. Firstly, when I walked in, I was treated like any average joe and not greeted properly with a plush velvet carpet or a release of 100 white doves OR a live band playing that song they play for British royalty and stuff. 1 star deducted. Then, they didn’t even accept my subway rewards card from 6 years ago when I reigned supreme as acting subway assistant manager in [omitted], IL! What! 2 more stars deducted. But, the turkey, ham, bread, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, mayo, yellow peppers, onion and black olives tasted as processed and not-fresh as ever, so Subway on Hollywood Blvd, I give you 2 stars.(PS Unilocal is telling me my review is looking«pretty epic!» I expect the same level of praise next time I walk into a Subway!!)

We were staying a few blocks away and was hungry so we decided to stop in. Great location on Hollywood. We came kinda late at night. The place was empty. Clean. Staff was nice and friendly.

Worst experience ever. My friend ordered two flatizzas, and I ordered one separately. The two that were ordered first by my friend were handed over to him, and then I sat and waited for my order to be made. A very long time passed, and I sent a friend to go ask where my ordered went. They started speaking in Spanish and looking at my friend, and then said«okay». A much longer time had passed, and my other female friend had decided that enough was enough, and went to go ask again. One of the two workers said that he had already given my order of two flatizzas to me. My friend then said that they Gave their order to them, and that mine was never even made. The male employee, without realizing my friend spoke Spanish, called her a mother-f**ker. She pretended to not understand, and walked away to sit back down. They finally made my order. Burnt, really hard, and it tasted nothing like the previous ones. Never eating at this failure again.

This place is a joke! They advertise delivery in hopes that a delivery order will not be placed. I called to place a delivery order and from the start I could tell that they did not want to do it. The guy was like«the order has to be a min. Of 30 dollars». To which I replied«it will be $ 30 at least». The guy whom barely spoke English by the way started to take my order and once we were done and right as I was about to give him my credit card number, he puts me on hold and in the back ground I could hear his other coworker saying«no that’s too far, she needs to be 5 mins away at most». I Live on Franklin & highland only 3 blocks away. LOSERS!

What can I say, its subway. This location is fairly new and it is located next to one of the locations that I spend most of my time. There is FINALLY a location that is close to one of my offices. The employees are just okay, nothing special. They greet me sometimes when I walk in but it not a personal greeting its more of a general hello and most of the time they are not even looking at me when they say hello. But that’s okay, I go there to get sandwiches and not«hellos». All in all it is a new location so it still has that new smell to it, and it is very clean, the prices are a little higher because of the location, but not extremely high.

I get really fed up with this subway. First visit, I ask for a 6 inch steak and egg and cheese. They gave me a footlong and proceeded to charge me the full price. I don’t even remember what I was upset about the second and the third time. Today, I asked for 3 cookies. It’s $ 1.50. They charge me $ 2.25. I ask them. Isn’t it 3 for $ 1.50? They say the computer will sort it out. Final price? $ 2.25. I show them the receipt and they scratch their heads. Computer didn’t sort it out, they said. It’s unfortunate that it’s so close to my work that sometimes I have no choice but to eat here. They don’t screw it up every single time(which is why they get 2 stars) but you guys need to work on your service.

The operator of this location does not honor national promotions. I was told to go a half mile down the road if I wanted the promotional price. Plus there were transients parked in the dining room with stolen shopping carts. And they smelled. Recommend taking their advise and going to the one at Sunset and La Brea.

Standard Subway. This location opened in early fall 2014 and they’ve been doing lots of promotions to draw foot traffic inside(i.e. they held a sandwich eating competition on Hollywood Blvd with tourists participating). Though they’ve clearly put in lots of effort to promote(that poor employee dressed as a sandwich walking back forth in front of the space…), they seemingly haven’t done as much work on employee protocols. Sandwiches that come out of this shop are generally a little lackluster, thrown together, and not as coordinated as their counterpart that I visit frequently at Sunset and La Brea. Definitely not a bad spot, but I see lots of room for improvement.

As far as subways go, this is a brand new super clean store. Sadly, it is located in the heart of tourist central… but luckily, it is also located directly below my gym. It’s great for post workout salads. It gets crazy crowded, but they are fast and efficient at moving the line
