I have been going to this Subway for 3 years now(I work across the street). My boss provides us with a Subway card so hey it’s free lunch so why not. Well let me start by saying Carmen is the BEST employee that this Subway has. She is quick, nice and is always making the line go faster. The food is well… Subway food. Says it’s fresh but doesn’t look fresh. I don’t expect much from Subway so I really can’t complain. Now my BIGGEST issue with this location is the new afternoon rotation. They have repeatedly messed up every order I made for the past 2 weeks. It has now become a mission to grab lunch because I know for a fact that it’s not gonna be a quick lunch run. The lines are longer because of all the mistakes being made. I went today around 3:30 pm and they were just standing around talking to each other while I and another gentleman waited. I know it’s empty but geez I gotta get back to work. It’s ridiculous, this place went downhill in the matter of 3 months.

I just went there. There two reasons why I leave one star. One, I went there is because I have a gift card from my friend. I wanted use my gift card, but they told me the machine doesn’t work. Ok. I understand this part. But what’s wrong with the lady works there? She was so mean and rude. She gave me a shit face and had no patient. I would not go back again. Never.

So, I work near here and I’ve tried other lunch options, but I usually always end up at Subway more often than not. Price, convenience, «health», Subway has it all! I’m a frugal little tart so when I have to shell out a few dollars more for a meal half the size of my foot long I’m a bit taken aback. Sure it’s worth it if the quality is there, but usually it’s the same level of any not-home-made-food. So why not Subway? My pro-tip is go in the morning on your way to work/where ever you happen to go. IF you do happen to go during lunchtime, the line can be daunting, but fear not! They are super duper quick. [Also the cookies are good, though the peanut butter ones always look a bit under cooked in the container…]

Standard subway. I’ll usually just come in for the $ 5 foot long. There aren’t many tables but I’ll usually just take it back to work. Pro tip: if you get your sandwich toasted you have to pay tax

Yeah, it’s a Subway, I know. But when you’re looking for something somewhat healthy and cheap, it’s a great option. The employees are super fast and even if there’s a line, you’re out of there in 5 – 10 minutes. I never get a drink, but the last 2 times I’ve gone with a coworker who orders drinks, there were issues(no iced tea and ice machine broken, so he had to scoop ice out of a mixing bowl…). Miss the option of having giardiniera as a topping, but that’s just me being a true Chicagoan at heart.

I go to this location a lot since near where I work. They are always really friendly, and ALMOST always get my sandwich just the way I like it. And they aren’t stingy with the toppings like other locations I’ve been too.

They’re getting cheesier all the time, and not in a good way. Today, my husband picked up dinner(too hot to cook today) and since last week, the portion size of the roast beef has gone from 8 slices to 6. Hey, that’s 25% less for the same price. When he asked about it, the employee was rude and said that’s what they’re doing now. So, they’re losing only about $ 20 per week from us, which is a dinner and a few breakfasts. I don’t think they’ll miss the $ 1000. per year we spend there. UPDATE — heard from the management — employee blew it. They’re sending us some comps.

THISISTHEMOSTEFFICIENTSUBWAY… that I’ve ever been to. Seriously. I work in a building right next to this Subway. I went during my lunch hour this week. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, but I wasn’t in the mood for a salad and just wanted a nice light sandwich… or in this case — as light as Subway can make their sandwiches. I walk over during my lunch hour(which happens to be everyone else’s lunch hour too) and find the line is easily about six people deep. There’s four people who are instructing on sandwiches and paying and two people waiting for their orders to be taken. I get in line and order the Subway(foot long) club. In less than three minutes, I’ve instructed my sandwich toppings, veggies and dressing. Paid for my food and have headed back to the office. Ok, so it was more like less than five minutes. But still, I didn’t wait long to order and the staff was friendly and efficient to everyone. Yes, even«that guy» who came in with a list of three separate orders for his coworkers. They were even friendly and efficient to him. I know, right?

I’m only reviewing & ‘awarding’3-stars to Subway for the $ 2.50 breakfast sand. combo. ultra cheap, you get what you want, can be healthy w/a decent cup of Seattle’s Best coffee. Otherwise-2-stars 4 all the lunch sand. /salads. i’ve only had their soup once, when got hooked-up w/the ‘rainy day’ promo… don’t recall taste, so it prob. was a notch below w. puck/progresso canned stuff…

Here’s my neighborhood Subway. Eat Fresh! As a chain, the food’s pretty much the same across the board of all the ones I’ve been to, so this one didn’t disappoint in that regard. For that reason, I rarely eat at Subway. I had a coupon from my Entertainment Book, but I realized the coupon isn’t anything special because they do deals like that all the time like in rainy days(if you follow their twitter in Los Angeles). I’m more inclined to visit when they have a new item or a limited-time only item. Tonight I wanted to try their new Beef Barbacoa. It has black beans and corn, which is what you typically find in foods called«Southwestern» in restaurants, typically at fast-food joints. You shouldn’t think or expect too much from Subway’s Barbacoa, so don’t compare it to Mexican cuisine and tacos and all. It’s Subway and this sandwich was considerably alright. Its spicy sauce is barely noticeable to me since I like foods that are painfully spicy. That’s not a bad thing because I do like getting the jalepeno bread and adding more jalepenos. I’ve had the Big Philly here and although you get a lot of meat, barbacoa is tastier and a little more tender. This location is alright. Subway folks were nice and efficient and I got exactly what I asked for. Overall, it was a good experience.

Five! Five dollah! Five dollah foot loooooooong! Ok, that stupid jingle has been stuck in my head for days so even though I never go to Subway, I decided to get one, and you know what? Not too shabby. Spicy Italian with the works, pepper jack, spinach and banana peppers on toasted jalapeño cheddar bread and my sammich was bigger than my arm. Which, of course, didn’t stop me from eating the entire thing.(Don’t judge. There was a lotta veg in there!) According to my loverman his toasty black forest ham was good, too. The fact that this location kicked the ass of everyone else in the area on their health inspection with a 98 doesn’t hurt.(Second only to the Chicken Lady with a 99. You go, Chicken Lady!) Neither do the Trimana fries and dipping sauce next door. Wink, wink.
