Studio Salon at Paramount Studios

I hate getting my hair cut. I hate it when the ladies try and sell you products you don’t want and I hate small talk about random stuff. However, that all changed when I went to the Paramount Studio Salon. When I first met my husband he was working at Paramount and on one New Year’s Eve he had gotten this sexy looking hair cut. I couldn’t get over it so I asked him were he had gotten it. He replied at Paramount. At the studio? I was surprised. In hindsight I guess it makes sense because someone has to do all those stars hair right? Well, years later I came to work at Paramount and once again I had found myself needing a hair cut so my hubby suggested I go to the salon. I was hesitant but I went because I remember his good haircut. That day I met Cherie. She didn’t bug me about products, she didn’t pull my hair and she had a lot of good talk on life and of course, studio gossip. I had no idea how I wanted my hair so I told her to do what she wanted. And you know what? I loved the result! So I went to her again and again and eventually I found myself getting haircuts every 3 months. Finding someone you trust to cut your hair is an amazing feeling for someone who hated the experience of getting their hair cut. Now I can’t wait for my appointment! And most especially, I can’t wait to come see Cherie. I haven’t tried another of the other stylists at the Paramount Salon because when you find something good, why change?

I work for the Dr. Phil show and had to take a guest of the show to get a haircut and a shave. He was an auto mechanic who was a bit scraggly. I didn’t think they could do much with him but by the time Anthony finished, my guest looked somewhat hot. I was convinced. A lot of the girls at the office use the salon often and yes, their prices are typical of salon prices elsewhere. Very glad to have them at our convenience.

The salon is infamous for really good haircuts and what not. People who work there have worked there for years and they truly know their customers wants and needs. Price is average. I think I spent $ 40 for a haircut. They did a good job. You definitely need an appointment though. Many employees religiously use this salon.
