I like this store, office people are reliable and responsive. But outside in the yard They need to organize and give good and fast customer service. My last visit last week I had to wait 10 minutes to have a ticket written for lumber that I needed. Loading my lumber order in my truck they no one was available, so I had to do it myself. Complaint is just for outside yard service.

I’ve always had a great experience working with these guys. Pricing is fair and they’ve always gone out of their way to make sure we get what we want. And the delivery is always prompt.

Not good. Contractor 35 years in the business and never had a worse experience with a supplier. Simple window order gone wrong and Stock has not stepped up to the plate to resolve the issue. I’m sure they get it right once in a while, but from the top down, they have been unhelpful.

As a previous reviewer mentioned this is a store for building professionals, so don’t expect a bunch of salespeople following you around. They don’t have the random selection of «home improvement» stuff you might find at a big box; no gardening supplies, no mailboxes, no cleaning supplies, etc. However, if you need lumber, building supplies, tools, paint, hardware, this is an excellent place. The staff are no-nonsense, and they know their stuff. They’re happy to help amateurs, and have no problem with small orders. It’s a much more human environment than Lowes or Home Depot. This store does exactly what it does and it does it right.

this is more of a specialty hardware store for contractors and pros, so to some degree this is not where you should come if you just need to get a lightbulb. it’s better for slightly heavier-duty stuff — lumber, materials, custom windows and doors and associated trim/hardware. they still do sell basics like tools and paint, but this is where i’d go to get bigger stuff and especially to avoid the lines and kids running around and thinking it’s fun to sit on a flatbed cart at home depot. sure. it’s all fun until they crash! sometimes in to you! service here is always extremely forthright and helpful. everyone knows their stuff and are pros at it. most importantly they always treat you with respect and never look at you like you’re a dummy even if you don’t know what the heck they are talking about, like ballcocks. hey get your mind outta the gutter — that’s a plumbing part, baby! anyway… definitely one of the better building supply stores.
