Steve is a true artist – he creates an environment, atmosphere, and emotion with the lens. Not just a guy snapping pics, he’s a real talent.

Saying Paynie is a good photographer would be like saying Mozart was pretty good on the piano.
First of all, he is amazingly kind and generous to everyone, and will never overcharge you.
And the photos are really something else — the first photoshoot I had with him literally changed my life. I had always seen myself as sort of different-​looking and not very pretty, but in 15 minutes, he was able to make me look sexier than I could have ever dreamed of being.
Paynie is an expert at lighting, his little films are a joy to watch, and his delightful English humor can be found in everything he does. Highly recommend for portraits, and especially anything video related.
