I have a Stephen Canthal piece featuring Circus Liquor in my living room. It’s possible(statistically, anyways) that I have the most refined taste in art any human could possess. So if you purchase art based on Unilocal reviews, that should be compelling enough. If you’re still not sold, Stephen will deliver it to your house, he’ll do commission and custom pieces, he’s a very fast runner, speaks 5 languages fluently– 6 if you count belly dancing, which some say is the language of love.

I love Stephan Canthal’s work so much, I make it a point to put a piece in the places I frequent most– My living room, my bedroom, and my office. When I can’t get away and I need to relax, this is the next best thing! I get a lot of traffic in my office and people are always impressed by how modern and refreshing the work looks. For a special birthday present, I asked him to create a unique print for my boyfriend. What an AWESOME surprise and what a joy it is to see that work of art hanging in the center of the house. I’m so thankful to have found someone with a love of the city and a love of beautiful, quality artwork.

Stephan’s art work puts a artistic face on familiar LA scenes! He creates iconic images from the streets of LA. His work is very desirable and I’ve been admiring it for many years. He is actively exhibiting in many LA venues. A must see where ever he is showing.

I’ve been an admirer of Stephen Canthal’s work for a number of years. I’ve enjoyed getting to know him at one of the galleries in Downtown LA where he is a featured artist. Beautiful forms from the human body to equally beautiful architecture that forms our everyday surroundings are the focus of his work. The images are studies in contrast when viewing his collection as a whole. The soft luscious lines that make up the curves of a woman’s body to the steel, glass and cement of a cityscape, these images are often printed upon materials such as; wood, brushed metals, tissue papers. The juxtaposition of the curve of a naked hip on cold brushed metal creates a dreamy otherworld feeling of an ephemeral memory. A cold city skyline is warmed by printing it on wood. The magic in Stephens work is the printing. He can take the simplest of subjects, everyday things and present them in such a way that it actually alters how you see those things on a daily basis. Stephen prints his work in many different sizes so there is alway something for any size pocket book.

Stephan’s art is amazing! His constant medium innovation keeps me wanting to collect more. I just need more wall space! It’s best to follow him on Facebook to know when he will be there to meet the man in person. Either that or make an appointment with him since he can share so much more than we can possibly read into.
