I stayed at a nearby hostel when I visited this Starbucks. The only thing that stood out like a sore thumb is that the outlets under the bench don’t work! I wanted to charge my cell phone while having my tea, and they are ripped out of the panel! I have never been to a Starbucks with non-functional outlets. Is this a joke?!

Worse Starbucks I’ve been to and I’ve been to Starbucks that are in very busy areas. Today my friend and I order ours frappes and it wasn’t even busy. It took 15mins for 2 frappes! The employees were to busy talking about their social life and the people who came after us got their drinks first. You are a Starbucks in Hollywood, one of the busiest tourist cities. Stay on top of things, the social talk can wait. But what cannot wait is the parking meter. This Starbucks needs help. Maybe have training or new leadership will help.

For a place that sells coffee they sure move slow. I avoid this Starbucks in Hollywood due to their extremely slow pace. I work here on Hollywood blvd and can walk to a further one to get my drink and come back before they could put together my ice coffee. It’s unbelievable how much the other Starbucks off orange st. moves more than 10 times the pace. HIRE A NEWMANAGERORNEWEMPLOYEES.

They have very bad people skills and value the employees more than the customer’s satisfaction. They tend to be prejudice .Not a place foe people of shall i say color.

I come here almost everyday. They can get pretty busy sometimes but everything here is fine. It’s not a good place if you want to quietly read or something, it’s right off the packed Hollywood blvd, but as far as just picking up coffee to go, it’s fine.

Just visited this location and all I can say is that this has been by far one if the worst locations I have ever visited. I have been in coffee management for years and have even managed a location on the beach in Santa Monica so I know how hard it is to run a store that deals with homeless and such. We waited in line for 10 min to order were rushed thru our order and when I asked for the receipt I was thanked and looked at like will you leave now. I than asked again for my receipt and was finally given it. The vanilla bean scones that we ordered have raspberry or strawberry jelly form another pastry on them and I just tossed them out. One of our drinks was made right away but we had to wait another 5 mins for the second despite them being the same drink and ordered at the same time. The barista had to make 2 iced coffees in between them and start a hot drink. The 2 ice coffees ordered after us as well as the hot drink and I’m pretty sure we would still be waiting if I had not inquired as to my other drink. With only 2 people on on a Saturday morning I almost feel bad for writing a bad review but not even a smile or a thank you changes how people feel about spending 20.00 on coffee and some pastries.

Avoid this Starbucks at all costs! I ordered a Java Chip Frappuccino, that had the most ice ever about 90% of the drink. Where was the flavor??? Flavorless just colored ice. My buddy ordered a non-blended Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. He received a iced Coffee. Where was the Vanilla??? For real if this was the first time I ever had a Starbucks drink I would never set foot in a Starbucks again. Was this the DUMB one I went to??? Should get 0 stars…

I am a Starbucks employee and I was disgusted at how bad this store is. The service was horrible, the drinks were even worse, the milk station was filthy, the bathrooms were wretched, and some employees were rude. I would not recommend going here!

This place sucks! Yes, its located in the airport but you would think they would have their stuff together but NO they don’t. They have no clue on how to take an order or how to make anything. They took over 20 minutes to make a smoothie! Really? A smoothie?

I base this review in my first and last experience at this Starbucks, the people working here were nice but the coffee was pretty bad. I order two venti iced caramel macchiato with one extra shot of espresso but it only tasted to milk with caramel… now that I think about it they probably forgot to put the coffee on it… but I don’t think so because both coffees were equally bad.

Despite the fact that they never seem to get my name right, this is my favorite Starbucks location in my work/home neighborhood. I don’t really do coffee, so I can’t speak on that, but I’m somewhat of a junkie for their black tea lemonade and iced chai, so I end up here on a fairly regular basis due to the fact that it’s just a block and half from work. This is the only location that doesn’t short me the ounce or so of liquid or just fill the rest with water/milk if I request«light ice.» A+, McCadden/Hollywood. If you start getting my name right, maybe I’ll give you that 5th star ;)

Starbucks has always been a dependable place for great customer service for me. I will pay more for that than worry about a rude small business owner any day. One of the reasons is because of their unspoken«Say Yes» policy. Well, the say yes policy does not exist at this location. It’s the only location that refuses to sell individual tea bags and refuses to give a large free water if you buy individual tea bags from a different Starbucks. Evidently, the district manager of this location, Todd Goldsworthy wants to stand out by employing a petty, nit picking policy over a tea bags. I’ve investigated and spoken with Starbucks customer service about this several times and though everyone I have spoken with in the company agrees with my assessment of the contentious, petty policy this particular manager seems hell bent on cleaving to as if it were his only strand of real power in an otherwise small, insignificant existence. To add insult to injury, transients at this location have free reign to go in, get free cups of water and spend hours taking up all the seats charging their cell phones. I spoke to Goldsworthy twice. The first time I had to hang up on him because he projected on me as if I were being disagreeable when I asked why this issue was so important to him alone in all of Starbucks. The second time he called me after the company told him to, his response was, and I quote: «Yeah! Well its MY store and it’s MY call!» It quite took me back to the childhood playground. I won’t stop giving Starbucks my business… not just yet. They will have to sink low on the whole. This particular intermediate customer relations situation will just keep me from going to that location. And I will blog about it and channel my disappointment toward this one alone… until Starbucks realizes he is a liability and fires him.
