If you need to sit inside, better avoid this location, because it is too busy and never they have a free table. But everything other is great. Clean place, fast and friendly staff.

This place is the worst!!! They never have any seating inside and the outside you can’t see your computer screen so it makes it impossible to work! It’s super frustrating, also the tables inside don’t all have outlets so it makes them hard to work why… why don’t you guys put extension cords at these tables!!! Not a fan…

This place rocks — huge outdoor seating that is indoor when the weather is not so cal fab, comfy benches, lots of tables, sooooo many outlets you could plug everything in at the same time and this place is clean. The service is polite and happy.

This is my new, closest Starbucks since I moved and the service is painfully slow. I don’t know how or why people who ordered after me are getting their drinks before me. And I don’t understand how it will not be at all busy yet you’re waiting like it’s Monday morning rush hour. 2 stars for not messing up my drink when I get it though lol

It was a beautiful Wednesday, and I decided to stop by Eagle Rock Starbucks next to Walgreen’s. Although this is not my regular *bucks location, my previous visits here had no issues. Until today. It wasn’t crowded like it usually was, so I felt great. A female barista with glasses took my order, a grande drip w/room for crème, and a tall iced water. Total was $ 2.25, I gave her a $ 5, she gave my change of $ 1.25 which was incorrect. Told her that she owed me a dollar, no worries she took care of it. Got my fresh cup coffee, waited for my water. Never got it. I was going to ask the barista at the bar, but she was occupied, and never once looked my way. After I enjoyed my coffee on such a nice albeit windy day, I decided though rarely, to get a refill. There’s no line so I walked straight at the counter. This is where something happened, that has never happened to me at a Starbucks before. Ever. As a former Starbucks Partner/Barista, I am utterly dumbfounded at the lack of attention and alertness by the Baristas at this location. I was standing at the front counter while the two female baristas chatted away at each other. I stood nearly about 2−3mins with no acknowledgement from neither two. Then a third female Barista came out from the back to the front counter only to join the two chit chatting baristas, while I continue to stand there. No words. A minute or so has passed when one of them finally acknowledge my existence. I got my refill, and again asked for a tall ice water. Again, I never got it. This is the only Starbucks that made me feel as if I wasn’t wanted nor appreciated. Again, as a former Starbucks Barista, I know how it should go. I know the importance of just being kind to everyone. Which made me feel good whenever a customer would leave a tip. Because we earned it, and quite honestly those tip jars goes along way. This was the the first time I actually did not feel like leaving a tip. Whoever is in charge at this location needs to fix this issue as soon as possible. I will continue to patronize this location, because I love coffee too much to let this bad experience deter me. What goes around, comes around eventually.

The new manager has basically ruined this Starbucks location. Not only a bad attitude, but a completely careless approach to management. The lines are now longer than ever, while employee morale seems to have hit rock-bottom.

It’s just a regular Starbucks. Service is OK. The espresso and Mochas are good. The sitting area is not very convenient.

WORST Starbucks in the area. The morning baristas consistently burn my coffee. It is the only Starbucks in Eagle Rock so I feel like I have little choice in going anywhere else. The baristas also appear to not be trained on how the online ordering system works. I didn’t have time to wait for them to remake my coffee so I had to just throw it away. This location SUCKS. Avoid at all costs!

It’s a Starbucks. Stopped by here after looking around some shops on Shop Small Business Saturday. It’s in the same lot as a Walgreens. They have a large patio area, that oddly has the Walgreens name on it. The place was crowded, no seating inside or outside. Staff was friendly, and drinks were ready in about 5 minutes. Bathroom was clean. It’s a good Starbucks to order to go. If you want a seat, it’s probably better to get there earlier.

I was there to hog a table and get some work done, and it seems like that’s The Thing at this place, meaning seating is limited whether or not you need an outlet. I saw a table reserved without people for at least ten minutes, marked by two wallets left there(in what way is leaving your wallet unattended a good idea?). The patio is large, which is nice, but you’re also right on the street, so you’re going to be breathing bus fumes and hearing traffic. Seating indoors is minimal; I was chilly outdoors, but indoors was some guy with a power strip on his little table and half a dozen things plugged in, watching football on his tablet with the volume up, and talking very loudly to everyone around him as if they were great friends. I was actually giggling with the woman at the table next to mine because it was so bad and so disruptive, and I was under the impression this dude’s a regular. Contrary to what I’m reading in other reviews, I had no problems with my order or the barista; we actually had a friendly chat about that stupid red cup debacle. Agreed on irritation that there’s only a single-occupancy restroom, but the Starbucks can hold more than enough people to justify two restrooms. As mentioned by others, the people utilizing the parking lot as a social club is a weird thing. There were maybe 10 people, including kids, hanging out when I arrived, and almost two hours later, were not only still there, but had spread out coloring supplies on the ground in front of my car(um, hello, parents? Kids on the ground in front of a car ATNIGHT is not safe). I didn’t feel sketched out or anything, it was just strange. I don’t think they were customers of any of the businesses in that shopping center. Three stars because this Starbucks was serviceable, but there are other ones in the area I like better.

As someone who frequented this location almost daily bc it’s right down the street from her, it’s sad that I gotta give it 1 star and say I’m never coming back. Most of the ppl are nice, but there are some that look miserable and act like they giving u free coffee or something. There’s one person in particular that has perma-bitch face. Everyday. No matter what you say to her or how friendly you are. Perma-bitch. Today they took it to another level. I placed an order on the app, it was ready when I arrived, awesome. I flagged a barista and told her I was waiting on a mobile order. She was changing the trash. I thought maybe she’d get someone to get it or at least wash her hands. NOPE. She touched my cup with her unwashed trash hands. I said very nicely like uh weren’t you just touching the trash? She’s like ok we’ll make u a new one and told perma-bitch to make me a new one. Perma looks at me with her bitch-face as tho pouring coffee is the LAST thing she wants to do. Then she asks the other chick why I want a new one and homegirl switches to Spanish to answer her! BIGMISTAKE! I speak Spanish pendejas! And even if I didn’t switching languages universally means one thing: we about to talk some shit! Yeah and telling her ‘she complained that I didn’t wash my hands’ is only HALF the story! You were touching trash and then you touched my cup! As a food handler you should know better and learn to give way less attitude! There are like 12 coffee shops in the ¼ mile area, I got choices and I choose never to come back to you!

im a college student so i rely on a lot of caffeinated drinks to get me through my studies! my favorite drinks are caramel macchiato, green tea latte, and salted caramel on cold days. on hot days, i prefer green tea frapp, caramel frapp, any of their teas, and the strawberry frapp :) i also really enjoy their scones and the variety of baked goods they have! can you tell i have a sweet tooth? haha. service is quick, workers are nice, place is clean… cant ask for anything else really!

Super obnoxious messy jazz playing WAYTOOLOUD. Plus, they’ve jacked up the prices too high to be a feasible daily or weekly stop. Two stars for friendly staff. Oh, and who’s the crazy dude clapping to himself with no Starbucks products on his table? Mountain Dew, snack bar and various other convenience store products. ??

I just watch a barista drop my cup on the floor. Then try to direct my attention away from the fact so she could pick it off the floor and serve me my drink in the same cup.

This Starbucks is a place you can sit down and do homework and other stuff but it’s hard to get a seat inside at times. Easy to find parking might be hard to find a space during lunch hour. They have a nice patio outside with a lot of seats. I just don’t like the fact there’s bums here all the time and even using the unisex restroom yeah gross. This one time a bum went inside yelling at people to buy him coffee. Also outside the patio it says no smoking but people do it anyway. Staff is alright.

I use to go here all the time. The baristas were sweet to me and helpful. One day me and some friends came by early, around 4AM knowing that this was the only place opening at 4:30AM. In all honesty, me and my friends were being a bit rowdy. But we were outside the Starbucks, in the plaza. Waiting for it to open. We didn’t do anything crazy. Out of nowhere comes this barista that I actually once helped take out a very heavy sign and throw it out. She comes with the bitchiest attitude about calling the cops. We explain that we’re sorry if we were being rowdy and that we’ll wait quietly. She replies, «it doesn’t matter I’m calling the cops». Nice attitude. You’re obviously on some cunt power trip, sweetie. It’s not my fault you have a shitty job and a shitty life. Haven’t gone here since.

They make my drink pretty good most of the time. :) I think SOME of the employees need to smile more… cause this one lady(who I shall remain nameless) just looks straight up mean. Like wtf. Customer service? What’s that? It’s usually filled with lovely bums outside. They have a «no smoking» sign on the patio, but people still smoke… it blends quite well with the bums. I love that they have a big parking lot that’s taken over by these people that loiter there like they’re on a vacation at the beach with their kids… and chairs and cigarettes.

Look, Starbucks is the McDonalds of coffee. They’re everywhere and everything taste the same at every location. Not saying that’s bad, consistency is nice. Although, the reason this Starbucks rates so low with me are the people living in the parking lot. You get a bunch of kids either smoking out in their cars, hanging around on their motorcycles, or families camping out with lawn chairs all on their tablets and phones. What the hell? I see a «No Loitering» right in the parking lot, and yet, this kinda nonsense is going on? Come on, be better than that.

Nice location w/parking lot. That’s a big plus in this area. The shop is set up nicely with swell outdoor patio seating, but the bathroom is a unisex single stall that is really dirty and the barista got my drink totally wrong. boo… DON’T forget to use your app for stars!

I use to love this location but the customer service has slowing decreased in the past months. They still make my orders just the way i like it but still. it’s not the same. TOMANAGEMENT, Please have your people go through a customer service class. We all know that customer service is important in our world today. Thanks. BTW. There was a lady that took my order today. 10.08.14 at about 1030. It was not the skinny asian but the healthy lady of hispanic ancestry. She was rude, DEAF(I have to repeat my order 3x), and not a morning person. Pretty much a BITCH! I didn’t get her name but she has no business taking orders. Enjoy! !
