Starbucks

I know it’s bizarre to rate a Starbucks but this place has 1) easy parking and 2) THE BEST EMPLOYEES OF ALL TIME. Every single one of them is kind and happy and efficient. The only downside is that this place is so good that it made me want to write a Unilocal review for a Starbucks.

I really like this starbucks, The manager is sweet and all the employees of this branch are kind, friendly and take great effort to get through rush times quickly and chat with their regulars when they are slow. The food is fresh and they always make my complicated drink right. Cheers to Jared, and Sarah and Garret and adolfo and ashleigh and everyone else~

WORST service ever. I came yesterday morning and i order a green iced tea and a very berry hibiscus. The iced tea was so weak, it tasted like water with sugar, the very berry was so strong i couldnt even drink it! i came back and asked to speak with the manager, i asked her for a refound and she got my card and instead of refounding me she CHARGED ME AGAIN FOR THE DRINK. she appologized and said she would refound me twice. I am never coming back to this starbucks, they dont know what they are doing or serving you.

Excellent customer service, great coffee! I have been going here off and on for a decade. They let you use the WiFi as long as you want. I have only seen them kick out one person he was there for 5 hours and was panhandling hadn’t bought one thing.

This location is just up the street from me now and is my closest Starbucks. The parking lot is small and annoying. The folks inside are nice but the flow of the store is a little backwards. There is a little space by the door on the La Brea side where you can sit and drink your coffee if you like. They have one bathroom.
It’s not the biggest or newest, but it does the job.

It was morning. Stopped by at this location for a regular coffee. 6 customers waiting in line. The customer at the cashier was telling her life story to the person behind the counter, and he was listening and giving her advise and recommendations what to do. It is not a place to chat when you have customers in line waiting for their beverages. After 7 minutes my turn came and they were out of coffee. Me and other customers behind me left the very disappointed. I understand customer service, but not ignoring the others that are waiting in line?

One of the worst Starbucks locations I’ve ever been to. The crowd is very loud/​rowdy and they made a mistake with my drink order. TWICE. How can you make a mistake making an ice coffee with toffee nut???
Avoid at all costs unless you’re cool with a rowdy environment and incompetent workers (specifically the older woman who was the cashier today, pretty sure she was the one sabotaging my drink).

I just started to come here during the morning, and the staff is always friendly and quick. They seem to know a lot of the customers by name and their order. Although we aren’t on a first name basis yet, some of them already know my usual (either an oatmeal &/​or a tall medium roast). I appreciate their great customer service :) Thank you staff for being awesome!

I love this location. Everyone is ver nice and has a smile, like they are happy to see you. Lol They move very fast and there is never a long wait. I wish there was a drive-​thru here, it would make this place awesome.

Man… So disappointing. I dropped by this starbucks with the bf a few nights ago because he wanted some tea/​coffee to help him stay up.
Although I love starbucks, there are definitely locations that make drinks better than other locations. Unfortunately, this isn’t one of them. Easily one of the worst places. I’ve been to. I ordered a strawberry black tea lemonade. I’ve tried this drink numerous of times but after trying this one. I was so disappointed :(
What the flip, it tasted like cold watered down lemonade with hints of strawberry and not enough black tea. On top of that there was way too much lemonade so it was so sour! I generally like sour things but this was too much –_​-​. My bf ordered a green tea and said it was fine but my drink was not good… At all.
However! The service was good. The baristas were super nice, friendly & funny. So two stars for that! But I’m probably not gonna come back because the drinks were below mediocre :/

The worst starbucks in LA. I’m a local and come often simply for convenience, but they need new management or something !!

Quite possibly the friendliest Starbucks staff (and that’s saying something!). Not only are they incredibly nice, but they’re very efficient as well. The place is also rarely crowded.
My only warning (and this is not the location’s fault) is that there’s a telemarketer for some medical supplies company that occasionally uses the place as his call-​center. I don’t think the staff can do anything about it, sadly. It’s just kinda obnoxious of him to — rather loudly — say the same spiel time after time instead of just working from home or renting an office.

Good location, right off the street so it’s easy to get into the lot; id just be careful of pedestrians tho, cuz it’s a quick entrance.
Ordered my usual, iced green tea latte, non-​fat milk. When it came out, it looked a little light in color, and the mgr on duty noticed. He made another one to show the barista how to do it, and she did it, and I assumed it would be good… but it wasn’t! Man, I should’ve just taken the one the mgr made… by this time I was already late to get to where I needed to go, so i didn’t have time to go back. They also messed up my wife’s order, who was NOT happy. So they were good, and then got better with the Mgr trying to correct the mistake made, but lost two stars for messing up my order AGAIN along with my wife’s order.
I’ll proooooobably come back again because of location, so we’ll see what happens next time.

I came here with my friend after getting deep dish pizza from Hollywood Pies. Check it out — the BEST. So it’s a Friday night and his girlfriend is working the shift at this time. I love the parking and it’s right next to Burger King. Going in and exiting is no problem which is never something I take for granted. There are many places to sit although this Starbucks isn’t that large. I loved the staff — although they were good friends with my friend.
I got the Vanilla Bean Crème although I never tried it before. I don’t do coffee and this was coffee-​free which was awesome. It was like an ice Crème shake but not as thick. The whipped Crème put it over the top. I loved it! And had no complaints!

This is a a great Starbucks!
What a nice staff. The barista let me sample a few of the new tea flavors. She had the best attitude of any Starbucks employee I’ve ever encountered. Don’t remember her name, but she was great.
Met the manage. Super cool guy. He told me they have new WiFi. Google WiFi, which is super fast!
Ok, laptop campers, please don’t abuse that and hang out all day. You’ve ruined many a Starbucks, so use the WiFi, but don’t stay all day… hogging all the good tables OK?
It’s not super crowded and they have plenty of parking. Gotta’ love it.

Location is convenient off la brea & san vicente. Almost never a line at 6−7am when compared to other starbucks near by. Or if theres a line its very quick service. The people here are on it!
Started serving breakfast sandwiches recently. The Bakery is from LA Boulange in San Francisco. The artisan breakfast sandwich, is freshly toasted, egg/​cheddarcheese and your choice of ham/​sausage/​bacon. Bread is crispy and warm
No drive thru here, but it is worth getting out of car for a delicious latte. Makes you work harder and therefore your coffee tastes much better.
Place is always clean, counting the bathroom.

Overall 4.5, no drive thru, but i like the non crowd here.

I happened to be in the area yesterday (11-​24-​2013) and figured I would stop in for a ‘San OB.’ The last time I passed this Starbucks a vehicle was sticking out of the side of it, I am glad to see they have corrected that problem.
This Starbucks does still seem a tad dangerous; no barriers have been installed on the sidewalk preventing a vehicle from visiting again. This Starbucks is located right on S. La Brea Ave on a blind curve where cars are passing within feet of patrons sitting near the windows. This Starbucks is quite small so if it did happen again when they were open for operation well it would not be good.
This Starbucks shares its parking lot with a Burger King; the parking lot is set on an angle and the spaces are quite tight so if you are traveling to this Starbucks in a large vehicle you might want to rethink that decision.
I parked a small vehicle, walked right inside and was pleasantly surprised to see no line. I ordered my ‘San OB’ with steamed soy milk. The drink was handed to me as ordered. I topped my drink off with 3 organic agave syrup packets and hit the top with some cinnamon, so good!!!
I was pleased to see that even though this Starbucks is small, the holiday season is upon us that this Starbucks did not have the entire area filled with boxes limiting the already limited space. The store itself was clean, the condiment section was clean, the bathroom was clean and the staff was super nice and super friendly.
If and when I am in the area again I would come back here but I do wish they Starbucks would install some sort of barrier /​poles from the street. If it happen once it can happen again.

Right off La Brea. Slow down or you’ll miss it!
Perfectly good Starbucks. But DO look around once you park your car — or as you are backing up in your car. It’s a tight line from out of SBs, into the lot, so look around and don’t make any assumptions. OK, now, enjoy that coffee.

Redoing my review.
I thought this was one of the better starbucks.
I may have to quit starbucks entirely. They are disappointing me over time. I should of left it alone and never come back so i could have the idea that their coffee was good. But NO! i had to come back then they had to screw it up 3 straight visits in a row.
Too much caramel on the outside of my cup! i got it all over my hand and in my car. Do they not know how to aim a simple caramel bottle? Sometimes i think they purposely squirt some on the side of the cup.
Then the final straw.
A caramel machiato with NO MILK FOAM. How do you expect the caramel to float on top when you do finally aim right? Sunk to the bottom and stayed there. NO steamed expanded milk? whats the point then. just give me some coffee throw in some luke warm milk then dump some caramel to sink to the bottom.
You don’t get the experience of the drink.
Then the guy who handed me the drink sounded like he had a bad day (12−24−11) and did not want to be there. It was like 9am!
Quality control people! Social skills! Be glad you have a job in this economy and do it well please.
I love my coffee. But i need it done right, the way it should be. Starbucks is one of the most pricey cups of «coffee». You have no excuses otherwise my money goes elsewhere/​
Get it right please. I pray the branch in wilshire and highland doesn’t go downhill.

There are always people outside of this Starbucks. Playing chess and smoking.
The baristas who work here are friendly. The drinks are good. This is one of the Magic Johnson Starbucks. Located on a busy street (La Brea) but it’s real easy to get in and out of this place quickly.
