I went in on a weekday and waited about 15 minutes for my drink and food. Once I finally received my order, my food was ice cold in the middle. This particular Starbucks gets very busy so, if you’re in a hurry, I’d not recommend going into this one at all. Just hit the drive thru and get on with your day. Kinda disappointing.

Nice clean Starbucks with a really nice staff. I like how they have things organized and everything is neat and organized. Its not crowded either which I love. Totally a cool spot to come by and get things done.

We were driving pass the area and ordered our drinks on app. It was only 9:35 pm in the evening. The store closes at 11pm. When we picked up our drinks we asked for code to the restroom, the lady(Jessica) gave us the code to the women’s but refused to give the code to men’s. She claimed the restroom has been cleaned and closed for the day! It’s still an hour and half to the time store closes. We were two customers purchasing coffee there but been denied to use the restroom?! This is so ridiculous! It is so un-Starbucks! Absolutely horrible customer service!

Just your usual Starbucks(not a drive-thru). There’s not much seatings(some inside and some outside as well), but it’s usually not too packed. Service is usually pretty decent. The only problem here is that there’s no parking nearby, so you’d probably want to walk here(if you’re a USC student). Also, be aware that it’s in a pretty shady area!

This is one of the Starbucks close to USC. There’s one on campus and one a little further on fig on 28th I believe. I would say the one on 28th is better. Not only because of the size of the place but because they have their own parking lot. This Starbucks is small(as most are, so that’s ok), but they don’t have bike parking outside and to park you have to park under the Icon plaza which is in between Pizza Studio and the Radisson. I always get a venti green tea frappé wherever I go just because it’s the drink I always get. Hot or cold, don’t matter. But the one that this place makes tends to always be more watery than a smoothie like form so it melts faster… You need a code to use their bathroom, but if you just ask the cashier they are more than happy to give it to you.

TLDR: pretty run-of-the-mill Starbucks, in a less-than-great neighborhood. AMBIENCE: Standard Starbucks, but since it’s in a shady neighborhood, there are quite a few hobos that circulate through. Free wifi and relatively clean bathrooms are always a plus, but the wifi can get really slow. DRESSCODE: Anything you want; there are hobos here, so go figure. FOOD/DRINKS: Standard Starbucks, nothing special. Coffee is subpar, but it gets the job done. They often don’t have cold brew coffee. The chorizo breakfast sandwich and the lemon pound cake are some of my favorite things to eat here. The prices here are often better than at places within USC, so it’s worth the walk if you have the time. SERVICE: Fine, some of the staff are really cool, others are not so much. PARKING: Unclear, there doesn’t seem to be street parking, but there is a garage associated with the building. Most people who come through here are USC students anyways, so it’s within walking distance.

I’m quite impressed with this Starbucks. It’s clear that management and staff have a well-defined system for efficiently handling orders and delivering drinks. Service is very friendly. Beverage quality is consistent(like pretty much all Starbucks). The location itself is nice too(plenty of seating). All n’ all, it’s a great Starbucks experience. Will definitely be back.

This Starbucks is much better than the one inside of USC. It’s never nearly as crowded, and there’s usually a seat or two in case you plan to stick around. The baristas are also much nicer and keep the place very clean(probably because they aren’t stuffed with students 24⁄7). If you’re a student, take the extra few minutes to walk here. It is much better.

The baristas are nice, fast and they keep the place clean! It’s the closest one to me the only downside is no parking and no drive thru but it’s still a great Starbucks!

Man. If it was 5 stars i wouldn’t need to write this review. If every time i came in here i was compassionately greeted by warm & friendly caffeinated faces it would be 5 star check-in only heaven. However, thats not the case here. 9⁄10 times you are going to get world class treatment at this location because its located in the travelers part of DTLA. Union station right down the road and a Can-Club used to be right across the street so how could you lose? Well, some things change 1⁄10 times and those changes cost this place 1⁄5 stars. Don’t hate, but would appreciate a better location to charge my phone sometimes.

I only go to this Starbuck around USC. This location is wayyyyy more better than the one on campus. All the staffs are so friendly! Since I go there mostly everyday, I am kinda surprise that they even know my preferences(always go for easy ice). Service is fast and excellent. Overall, a SIX stars review for this location.

Placed my order through the taptogo service. My sandwich was not available after the 15 minute wait even though I received a message that it was ready, and another employee verbally said that it was ready. When I received my breakfast sandwich it was ice cold in the center and lukewarm on the edges as if it never been properly heated up, and had been sitting around for several minutes.

I will truly miss visiting this Starbucks now that I’m moving out of icon plaza. Staff is friendly and place is kept clean. They also now have the wireless charging with adapters for iPhones and androids so that’s a great plus! Wifi used to be spotty but has been better as of late.

If you are coming here to study be forewarned that there are not that many places to do so. There is one large communal table and two other areas with hightops by the windows. Study space seemed limited compared to other spots. Other than that it is a great location though.

This Starbucks(SB) location is the prime spot for all USC students. My friend and I have gone to this location numerous times to hangout/study, and there’s always a line.(There was an especially long line when all frapps were half-off for two days, but I digress). It can be difficult to find seating inside this location because it’s usually packed, but my friends and I have usually lucked out and were able to share a table inside with others or find one of the smaller tables outside. This location can be sort of out of the way unless you’re in the USC area specifically, but it’s very convenient for students. Here’s what I would recommend: «Iced Vanilla Latte»: One of my friends is a die-hard SB addict and this is what she orders every, single time(unless PSL is back in season). This simple drink features rich, full-bodied espresso blended with milk and vanilla syrup and is served over ice. I tasted my friend’s drink once and it had a subtle, sweet flavor, thanks to the vanilla syrup. However, the sweetness was very light — perfect to get you going in the morning or for a simple afternoon pick-me-up. «Calm Brewed Tea»: I’ve gotten this tea on numerous occasions because I like its basic taste and non-overwhelming flavors. It features a comforting blend of chamomile, rose petals and soothing herbs. I actually first got this tea after a huge fight with the BF, and it was surprisingly really good … making it my go-to when it comes to teas from SB. Of course, I can make my own chamomile at home, but when I’m on the go and need something warm – and don’t want any caffeine – this is what I usually get. «Frosted Snowman Cookie»: So I was on the way to pick up the BF one day from the airport and I stopped at the nearest SB to get him a snack … and picked this festive-looking, seasonal cookie. Turns out that he doesn’t like shortbread at ALL, so guess who ended up eating the cookie? I liked the buttery taste of the shortbread – shortbread usually isn’t my favorite as well, but this cookie wasn’t hard and dry, so I rather enjoyed it – and it was sufficiently covered in white and milk chocolate icing. I was actually surprised by how much I liked this cookie — I don’t normally go for white chocolate, but the icing was yummy and the milk chocolate icing(hat) provided the perfect finish. I’d definitely order this«Snowman» shortbread again. «Cheesecake Brownie»: I got this treat from SB when my friend and I stopped by the coffee shop for a study session. It featured a fudge brownie swirled with cheese and topped with chocolate ganache. While I have no problem ordering super-sweet things, this moist, chewy brownie wasn’t as sweet because it was swirled with the cheesecake. The chocolate ganache provided a more chocolaty taste, and the brownie was crumbly and cake-like(the center was fudgier). «Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino Blended Crème»: When I want a more traditional, simplistic drink and I’m craving vanilla, this option sounds absolutely perfect. I love the sweet and creamy taste of vanilla bean, and that’s what I would get when it comes to this drink. «Chestnut Praline Frappuccino Blended Coffee»: Basically the cold version of the seasonal latte, this drink features flavors of caramelized chestnuts and spices blended with Frappuccino Roast coffee, milk and ice, and it’s topped with whipped cream and spiced praline crumbs. Though I can imagine that the hot version of this praline latte is good, I’m definitely open to trying the iced version as well. «Chocolate Smoothie»: I didn’t even know that SB sold smoothies, but this one sounds yummy because of the mocha flavor(and hey, it’s a bit healthier because it has a banana … right?!). It includes a blend of mocha-flavored sauce, a whole banana, milk, whey protein and fiber powder and ice. I’m not quite sure where the chocolate comes from in this concoction(maybe they drizzle chocolate on top or blend in the chocolate flavor as well), but this combo sounds like a refreshing treat on a hot summer day. «Double Chocolate Chunk Brownie»: If I don’t get the cheesecake-infused brownie, this more chocolaty version would be my pick. It features a rich chocolate brownie with premium cocoa and generous chunks of chocolate. Brownies are one of my favorite snacks, and I love my brownies dense, fudgy and full of chocolate, so this option sounds perfect. I can’t wait to chomp down on those chocolate chunks one day. «Flourless Chewy Chocolate Cookie»: I didn’t even know that SB featured flourless cookies, and since I’ve tasted a flourless chocolate cupcake once – and it was one of the best I’ve ever tasted – I’m sure I would like this cookie. Though it’s crispy and chewy and studded with semisweet chocolate – and I prefer soft, chewy cookies over crunchy cookies – I’m willing to give this flourless chocolate option a shot because it’s so unique.

This is a small but nice Starbucks. It’s across the street from USC so it’s great for students. There is some street parking that’s metered. Service here is good and I would come here again.
