St. Agnes Church Farmer’s Market

Really fresh fruits & vegetables. I personally tried their strawberries & other fruits. And loved everything. Found some fresh veggies that I wouldn’t find any other place (like: Pumpkin flower)
It’s better to go to Market Match first. Get your money doubled with market money. Max $ 10 cash for $ 20 market cash coupon. Amazing deal. Go early as they run out quickly.
Parking was pretty good

A lot of WIC and CalFresh recipients come here to redeem their government aid on local produce. It’s great but I do see the sellers try to hike up their prices to get more out of them. I tried haggling with the sellers but they would not budge on lowering their prices. I wish they had more than vegetables and fruits, but like I said they cater more to the customers who have government aid.
They do match your cash purchase with paper vouchers (without being on gov’t assistance) halfway. So if you have $ 20 they match it up to $ 10. (This is for what I saw, wasn’t sure how it worked but thought it would give you more bang for your buck). As in the produce, I want to say that the produce was equivalent to the 99 cent store’s selection, but the waether was hot and maybe they were wilted because of the heat. I will give this farmer’s market another try to see if it’s really worth the drive.
