Theeee BEST tasting donuts, cronuts and croissant breakfast sandwiches that have EVER existed. Fresh — made to order, coupled with fabulous customer service made this a place I will continue to return to whenever I’m in town. Lucky me that I’m in LA again! Cronuts for dessert! ! Delish.

Went for a midnight eat with my boyfriend and got the ham, egg, cheese croissant. I shared it with my boyfriend and upon eating it… a freaking cockroach falls off the damn ceiling! It was the grossest thing ever! And then I look down and there was another freaking cockroach!!! I don’t know it was the fact that the roaches made my want to regurgitate my food, but I got a really bad stomach ache that I am now sitting on my toilet with the worst diarrhea as I write this review. I’ve never had a bad experience with this place until now. A MILLIONTHUMBSDOWN.

Went here in order to get my first cronut. They have a couple of delicious flavors that they make to order. I had the strawberry and cream one and loved it more than the sugared one. The donut holes are a must as well. I will be back next time I have a craving for sweets. The staff is not too much into small talk but they are doing their job just fine so I can’t really complain.

Boba tasted gross… I wanted to try their Milk tea Boba and asked the cashier if it was good and she re assured me it was. I ordered and paid. As soon as I tasted it, it dint taste anything like the regular Milk Tea. I asked if she can just changed it to something else and said no there’s no refund what so ever. Not even to change it to something i can really enjoy drinking. What a waste of money. Dont ever order drinks here!!!

I ordered a Strawberry Cream Cronut and it was delicious! The cronut(croissant + doughnut) was cut in half and they put a cream cheese based cream(it’s almost pudding like and kept chilled), and fresh cut strawberries in the middle. I’d like to go back and try the other flavors they offered. They also had a wide variety of doughnuts!

I’m confused as to if this place is open 24 hours? I walked there one drunken night with a friend who raved about their donuts. It was about 12:30 am on a Saturday night… and they were closed. I like business who list their hours, and stick to them.

Let’s be real people. The donuts here do not live up to the hype. Maybe it was bad timing on my part. I came in at about 6pm on a Friday and we tried a few different offerings. All were disappointingly stale. Easy pass

I might be in the minority here, but spud nuts is not the best. Maybe it’s popular because it’s really the only doughnut place near USC? Drunk college kids + fried food = good times? Anyway, my experience was less than stellar. My friend was craving donuts so I took her here. We ordered two each since they were so cheap. I also ordered boba. Warning! Do not order boba here. It was so gross. I watched the girl working there scoop out the boba from this brown murky water and all the boba was struggling and clinging to each other. She Brewer some tea and plopped the nasty boba in the cup and handed it to me. My friend told me not to drink it. I took a sip, and promptly threw it away. The donuts tasted old and kind of off. Maybe they had just been lying around too long? My friend felt sick after eating them, and we’ve never been back since.

Try their amazing sausage egg croissant sandwich – their croissant is unbelievably rich and buttery! The honest folk who run the place are always nice to talk to and watch in the morning. Besides being able to get gourmet breakfast like their croissant sandwiches, you can also grab their donuts, pastries, and thai tea(which is sweet and milky). It’s been a pleasant experience every time I went in the store, and the food has never let me down either. I’d say the it’s a solid breakfast/brunch place. Five stars.

For a little mom&pop type store close to USC, this place is good. I had their lemonade which was more sour than sweet(I like) and they have a variety of donuts to choose from. Their Thai tea is a little bland but at least their donuts are decent. I came here to try their cronuts because I’ve always wanted to try the NYC famous cronuts but never could. I can only imagine what those taste like :) I got the nutella cronut but it was a little too sweet for my liking so I recommend sticking with a plain one. Their bacon caramel donuts are pretty decent too which is sweet and salty. Although it is hard to finish because it is extremely rich, I won’t be getting that anytime soon.

I love Spudnuts! Potato instead of flour in the dough makes the donut a bit heavier but gives it a great consistency. Not one flavor here I did not love, prices are fair, service is nice and selection great. All around good spot in the area to grab something sweet.

Spudnuts has always been solid in my opinion! Today was the first time I tried one of their breakfast sandwiches; there was a TON of pepper in patches in the egg, which made it kind of difficult to eat at times, but the rest of the sandwich was really good. But what still shines bright for me is the donuts. They have every kind of donut you can imagin and they’re cheap, consistent in quality, and tasty! Nothing to complain about there. They also have muffins and other pastries which I have not tried, but they all look amazing. They also have ice cream sandwiches, as well as just a bunch of other things on their menu that should be worth a try! Service is generally pretty good — the ladies behind the counter won’t necessarily give you the biggest smile, but they’ll definitely make sure you get exactly what you want.

Spudnuts is located in a convenient strip mall down the street from USC and Exposition Park. There is plenty of parking and they take credit cards, both of which are rare qualities and make Spudnuts my first choice for buying donuts for the office when I’m working in the area. During my morning rush, it’s all about convenience, I tell you! The donuts are good. Not exceptional, but good. They are made of potato flour, hence the name, but I can’t really tell the difference. They have a large selection of usual suspects in addition to cronuts, maple bacon, blueberry and other trendy varieties. Their ham and cheese croissants are fantastically buttery, flakey and huge! It’s one of my favorite morning treats. Service is quick and friendly and prices are fair. What more can you ask for of your local donut shoppe?

Their cronuts are soooo good. I always get the nutella one and am always satisfied. It’s really sweet though so make sure to have some water or milk with you. Lots of parking
