I always stop to browse at this location when I’m at the Grove b/​c I love Splendid clothes. Their t-​shirts are so soft and comfy. I bought a pair of their linen pants once and I LOVED them but they shredded within a few wears. I was sad so I contacted the company. They were very helpful and sent me with a gift card to replace the pants but I was never able to get another pair like them. As for this location, you get better deals going to Nordstrom’s Rack and sometimes even at Anthropologie.

I had the best sales rep the today! I don’t remember her name but I think she was wearing a blue and orange romper, and she looked young and has ombré hair. She was so helpful and sweet and patient, I can’t believe how much I ended up buying. That girl works hard! Keep it up!

Two buttons fell off a shirt. I went in and asked if they had spares. ‘Oh, just bring it back.’
‘No no– it’s just a button or two. I can sew it on.
We’re amazing about customer service, just bring it in and we’ll replace the shirt.‘

Brought the shirt in two days later. The manager curtly assured me that they never replaced items when buttons had fallen off. What a crazy idea. Why did I think that? Thanks for wasting my time, Splendid! Esp since I’ve spent sooo much money here.
But she did look at the tag on the collar and say ‘this isn’t even our LABEL…’ I said ‘that is my son’s name tag you’re looking at’ which made me laugh.

This location is relatively new to The Grove. The store front is open and welcoming and the store is neatly organized. So what is Splendid?
Splendid carries comfortable and plain clothing for children, men and women. I feel like their style embodies the concept of wearing basics– so basically plain & comfy. Their items definitely aren’t cheap but generally items are less than $ 100.
You can find Splendid clothing at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Neimans and random boutiques. The main reason for my 2 stars is that usually you can find Splendid clothing marked down for WAY more in these department stores/​boutiques than the actual Splendid store. Even though the store selection is more than what you would find at the department stores, I feel like if I wanted to buy anything from Splendid, I would look online or at the department stores for better deals.
