So about two years ago I went to Silvia Aguila at the Space Salon because my hair was destroyed by over processing my hair with my old hairdresser, my hair was falling out, thinning, breaking and so damaged my only choice was to go from being a blonde all my life to going darker. She has been doing my hair now for two years and has completely changed everything about my hair. I totally would recommend if you are looking for a hair dresser Silvia really knows what she is doing, color, cut, styling, hair extension and makeup. As a former salon owner she knows how to make her clients happy, and is very accommodating with her schedule to get a appointment that works for you. I recommend Sylvia Aguila call her for a appointment 818−641−3107

I’m staying at the Oakwood Apartments down the street for a few months. The salon on-site is very expensive, and at the time, was closed for the long weekend. I called up the salon and spoke to Steven, the owner. He told me a mens’ cut cost between $ 30-$ 33. I laughed, since that was even more expensive than the on-site salon. He could tell I was put off and asked me what I wanted to spend. Since I’m a college student, I said it couldn’t be more than $ 20(and even that is more than what I usually pay). We agreed on a basic mens’ haircut for $ 20. When I arrived at the salon, it was quiet and the door was locked. Not sure why, but I was immediately greeted by Steven and he told me Debbie would be cutting my hair. She is quite talented and a perfectionist. It was one of the better haircuts I’ve had away from my usual haircutter on the East Coast. Debbie and I bonded over our East Coast roots and just engaged in friendly talk. She wanted to make sure I was happy and gave me a few options for my haircut. We decided on the best length together. I will definitely return in the future, as long as I need a haircut and I’m in the area.

i have been bringing my now-iconic tresses to hair atiste genius extraordinaire Christina Velis for almost 11 years. Under Christina’s aegis, my hair is so long and healthy, it has its own zip code. People lavish my hair with so many complements everywhere i go, i’m actually jealous of me. ;~/ Because if you’re hair ain’t right, nada’s right, i wax prolific to troubled hair heads on the benefits of hooking up with Christina for fixes and fabulousness on whatever be their hair woes. Brassy blonde? Christina will colour correct. Dried and fried? See Christina. Need a new look? Christina will create it or instate your vision. i have an intense scissor phobia, but scissor-happy is not in her repertoire. Trims are trauma-free. Shape-ups are painless. The Space owner and proprietor Steve is cool, laid-back and gracious, and stocks top-of-the-line hair products. The studio boasts scientifically balanced lighting(which Christina helped design) for hair colour accuracy and there’s always good music in the sound system. This is why my hair rocks.
