SHOCKED at how I was treated here. I was sold a clearly USED makeup product, which is ABSOLUTELYDISGUSTING, and was not allowed to return it because it was used… That makes no sense! I expect better from somewhere associated with Bloomingdales. I finally convinced the manager to exchange the product for a new one. I should be spending money on a product that I am unable to even use because it is used. When I then attempted to return the new product, she refused, saying they don’t return used products even though THEYSOLDME A USEDLIPSTICK(YUCK!) and I was returning the new one. Why should I loose my right to return because they screwed me over? They should have been apologizing, not being condescending and giving me a hard time. They were very nasty and wouldn’t even listen to what I had to say. The Manager was VERY condescending. This girl«helping me”(she was the manager) was an absolute nightmare. VERY rude and incompetent. Finally, after pointing out to her that I’d just come back in an hour and have somebody else return the lipstick for me, she complied. It took me forever to finish my return. They should have been apologetic and just returned it for me, but I was instead spoken to in an indescribably rude manner by this out of line manager. They should get a one star review for selling my used makeup alone, which is UNBELIEVABLY unsanitary, I mean how does that even happen. I haven’t left anywhere feeling this disgusted in a while. I will never support SPACENK ever again. Another annoyance, though, is that Bloomingdale’s wasn’t able to return my merchandise, and I had to do it through SPACENK and their irrational manager. When buying the lipstick NOBODY told me that I could only return it through them. However, the blame goes to SPACENK for selling me used makeup and retuning to return in. The store making a mistake should NOT void my right to return my purchase. They were OUTOFLINE. Still in shock how rude the blonde lady(the manager) who was doing everything NOT to help me was. Hoping that Bloomingdales cuts ties with them soon. Very disappointed, I would stay away from them in the future. Would be shocked if the manager wasn’t fired soon… I have never dealt with more rude sales girl. I’m disgusted by her.

This was the first time purchasing from Space NK. In fact, I wasn’t familiar with Space Nk until recently when I learned about this little store within Bloomingdales on a Blog. They carry a lot of great high-end cosmetics and skincare… and some brands that are not found anywhere locally. The service is always helpful but what I love the most is their beauty bag event. If you spend a certain amount you get a BIG bag full of skin care and cosmetics! It’s really the best beauty bag event ever! Can’t wait for the next one…

Three Stars for SpaceNK in the Beverly Hills Mall. I’m usually a customer of the Space NK in Fashion Island Newport Beach and Costa Mesa Galleria, but I was too lazy to drive or call the store to palce an order of Malin & Goetz. I was in the Beverly Hills area and decided to stop in at the Space NK counter in Bloomingdales. It took several minutes for someone to recognize me and to acknowledge that I was interested in purchasing several items. When I did get someone’s attention, I got the two Malin & Goetz items that I needed and the salesman decided to upsell me by having one of his representatives try to sell me some skincare that I didn’t need. They also tried to sell me very expensive bottles of perfume. I would have shared the lines that I use if you just asked. Not a fan of the customer service at this location. Had you just engaged me in a little conversation, you would have learned what I liked and needed. Then, I would have purchased a lot from you. No thanks SpaceNK Beverly Hills. I’ll just stick with my skin care professionals at the Newport Beach and Costma Mesa stores!

Great little boutique inside Bloomingdale’s. It’s a UK import that offers many niche luxury brands. They have several that are difficult to find in your traditional department store, like Kevyn Aucoin, Ellis Faas, and By Terry, but also ones that are more accessible like Hourglass, Fekkai, and Bumble and Bumble. Lots of expensive skincare(and I think some hair care) from less mainstream companies as well. Some brands I remember seeing are Eve Lom, Caudalie, Lipstick Queen, Jin Soon, Nuxe, Sunday Riley, Darphin, Dr. Lipp, Ren, and Rodial. There were more, of course. My experience here was excellent — I got a lot of great help from the sales associate, who gave me advice and recommendations, as well as a whole make-up application, all without ever trying to sell me a thing. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re ever in this Bloomingdale’s. I’ve been to other Space NK locations and I have to say they have all offered the best cosmetics experiences. The only thing you should be aware of is that Space NK seems to specialize predominantly in high-end products. Additionally, I believe their return policy is 21 days, unused and unopened, though you can do exchanges.

Space NK is an awesome beauty supply stored tucked away inside of Bloomingdale’s. They are a stand-alone that apparently rents space from Bloomingdale’s. They have an excellent selection of hard to find beauty products. Many of the lines they carry can only be found at Space NK(or from online beauty suppliers). The staff is always knowledgeable and helpful and they always give you samples of products to try.
