I like the location because it is close to my job plus I like their soups that change flavors every month or so. They always make sure that the soup tins are hot and full to the brim. They might want to check on their salads when the lunch squad comes by because at times they run low and their staff won’t check right away and it’s irritating having to ask them for the Salad bowls to be refilled. Other than that, I like customer service as they always come and pick up your plates and whatnot.

I normally love this place! I come to this one all the time and have always received good service. However tonight me and my family came for some salad and soup and family time. My parents are not from LA so they thought they could find a place to sit while I order. The manager quickly super upset her name is Breanna or Briana something like that. Her attitude was beyond rude and she yelled at my family treating them like garbage. Instead of kindly explaining to them how the restaurant works. I was not only embarrased for bringing my family here but the way she treated them killed our mood and apetite. When I tried to address the issue with her she quickly got loud saying I am the manager and I am actually incharged tonight. I have never dealt with someone so power hungry and disrespectful to a paying customer! Never coming back to this location and I’ll make sure to let everyone know about the way we were treated! A real manager would know how to kindly speak to customers. Do not bring families here specially if they are not local watch if they look for a table she might yell at them… The food however was great!

This location is filthy! For the building to be in an upscale location, I was shocked at the way this place is run. It’s one of our family’s favorite chains but we will not support this particular one. I will be requesting a refund for this terrible experience. I called & shared my concerns with manager, Maria, who made excuses about being too busy today. She didn’t offer any compensation for the dissatisfaction that this experience caused so she just lost a family of customers. They ran out of a lot of food, which we paid for. We also paid to eat on clean plates, in a clean restaurant. I had to bypass 6! dirty soup bowls to locate a clean one, and found the same situation with dessert bowls & silverware. The high chairs were all filthy, the counters aren’t clean. We had to request that our dishes be cleared because the staff, including the floor manager, we busy getting themselves beverages instead of waiting on customers. There was a HAIR in the macaroni & cheese! It was a terrible dining experience. And a terrible response to my call from Maria. «Sorry for the position that we were put in. I expected that we would get some bad reviews from today.» Well, here you go. If she’d handled it properly, I wouldn’t have left this review& I’d give the restaurant another chance.

Good family atmosphere and healthy choices. I’ve always had a good experience here from the cashier’s, to the bus boys, cooks, etc. I’d recommend this place for a quick inexpensive meal.

Souplantation is one of the best places that I eat. They always have many different foods to choose from, this is good because I am a very picky eater. Furthermore, the price range it perfect it is not expensive! I absolutely love the Cesar Salad and the pink lemonade. It is so tasty. I would defiantly recommend this place!!!

I personally don’t like community food but the chili there is very good. I would say it’s a good place to stop. Just remember to get validated if you park up top

BEWARE! CAUTION! AVOID! RUN! My family of six had a very horrible horrible horrible experience here! We were given«5» drinking glasses that were laced with food and lip stick! The cashier copped an attitude with me when I brought the issue before him. All the tables to seat a family of six were all dirty! I had to bus«2» entire tables filled with trays, plates, cups, napkins, and food leftovers + wash down those two tables; in order for my family to have a place to seat together as a family. Afterwords, I went to use the men’s restroom and it reeked with a very foul urine smell… very unclean! I brought all of this before the manager and she acted as if she did not care, but she offered some free cookies for our trouble. And then, when I thought I could finally sit down and enjoy my food, I noticed that the cashier has screwed up on my receipt and charge me too much for our meal; which I returned to the manager to have her fixed. If anything could go wrong, it did. Its one thing to have something go wrong and be apologetic, sympathetic, and apathetic, but that was not the case with the staff at this Souplantation! Also, many of the soup bowls were laced with stuck food thereon. We will never never be back to this location!

Great service at a great price. Food is okay. They should have some kind of chicken, fish, or meat. They have great soup. Their pizza is not so great.

Souplantation is an amazing, family inviting restraint food buffet. The food is great! It has a variety of salads, dressings, toppings, soups, and festive deserts. The chili itself was a trip to heaven. They have soft serve ice cream with a really nice candy cane flavor. The prices are pretty good. Furthermore, the interior looks AMAZING. The outside looks inviting also. There are lots of seats inside and outside to! Overall, Souplantation is a great, nice looking place, with heavenly food.

Amazing! My home away from home. I love everything about this restaurant… I love the food — I love the crowd that eats here(there are many regulars) — I love the staff — I love the chicken noodle soup!!! Clam chowder — ice cream — sugar free mousse — sprinkles — I could go on and on! You will not be disappointed at this Brentwood location!

My friend and I wanted to meet up for lunch and picked this location to seal the deal. It’s pretty small for a Souplantation but it did the trick. The items are limited and the place is clean. They do have a big patio seating area which must be great during the summer months. The attendants do keep the place clean and bus the tables when you go get your next round. Pricing is always on par with SP. You can always look out for an $ 8.99 per person deal if you’re on the mailing list.

This place is great for when I have one of my cravings for soup and salad. The salad bar is fully stocked and has pretty much everything and many suggestions. The soups are pretty good. Nothing crazy but if you’re craving soup it will do the job. The little snacks and desserts is a great little extra. They have tiny ice cream cones that are the perfect size :) I also had grapes for dessert and fresh fruit is a plus for me

I end up at Souplantation at least twice a month, their salads are always very fresh. Without fail they are always out of or running low on their Caesar Salad and Won Ton salad, I either need to walk over to the other side of the salad bar or ask one of the people behind the counter to make more. I can’t figure out why they never restock the salads when they run low, when you ask them, they act like you’re doing them a favor. Salad options are great and the soups are really good. If you’re looking to be healthy and have a simple night out, Souplantation is a great option.

As always, Souplantation is a great stop on a Saturday night and fill up on treats. Everything is great, except the ice cream has lost its richness completely. Otherwise, things are good. Try the chicken pot pie while it is still there. It is delicious

Souplantation is a comforting place to eat, at a very affordable price. I normally come here when I either: A. Am sick and want soup B. Feel like I haven’t eaten enough veggies for the week and need to compensate(more likely of the two) The broccoli salad is amazing, and I recommend filling your plate sky high with the salads, because you only get to go through the salad line once! Soups are very comforting — they’re not amazing taste-wise but they definitely hit the spot. Parking is free in the underground garage with validation.

How had I not reviewed this Souplantation before? I’ve been coming here for years with my family and most recently visited with my fiancé when we were visiting LA. I grew up eating at Souplantation and love their excellent selection of healthy foods! I always start with a salad(wonderful and diverse topping selections!) and then move to their soups, pastas, pizzas, and garlic breads. I top everything off with some fresh fruit(pineapple or orange wedges) or ice cream(love their soft serve!). Some of my favorite soups are their turkey chili, New England clam chowder, and chicken noodle! They also have seasonal soups as well. The most recent time I visited, I noticed they do brunch on the weekends and don’t have lunch food until noon, so keep that in mind! Parking is tight(seeing as how it’s located in Brentwood), but they have an underground garage and you can get your parking pass validated. I definitely recommend Souplantation and will be visiting again for years to come!

I love souplantation just because I love veggies and salads and customization. I’m a tapas girl and I love making my salads complete with different vegetables and legumes and then getting a small spoonful of all the different soups to taste. Then I love getting my cheesy pizza bread and one of the freshly baked blueberry muffin and cornbread with actual corn bits inside. Finish the meal off with a small cone of soft serve and nuts and I’m completely full and happy. Is it the best quality food? Not so much. But will it satisfy your soup and salad craving? Absolutely. Good for kids and families and sometimes they come around with hot, freshly baked cookies!

Amazingly delicious, inexpensive, and healthy meal! This placed always seems to be packed, but i’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table. You start off in the cold salad bar, and work your way down a long buffet of salads, veggies, and toppings. My two favorites are the chinese chicken salad, and Joan’s broccoli– the two of these items alone fill over half my plate. Next stop is the cash register. Sign up for club veg online, and you’ll often be mailed coupons that you can present on your phone! Also, ordering a fountain drink here is totally worth it. They have a few good teas/lemonades– please give the strawberry lemonade a try. After you pay, you either seat yourself, or an attendant will find you a seat, depending on how crowded it is. At slower hours, it is self seating. During busier hours, an attendant will happily find a table for you. Now, it’s finally time to explore the hot food options. There’s a great selection of soups, a few pastas, and a baked potato bar. Keep going down the line and you’ll find pizza and garlic flatbread. Go down a bit farther and you’ll have muffins, cornbread, and brownies within reach! The blueberry muffins are my favorite, I eat at least two every time I’m here. Lastly, if you still have room for dessert, check out the soft serve machine! You can get vanilla, chocolate, or even mint chocolate, and top it off with sprinkles and/or sauce. If you want something on the lighter side, there’s always some fruit(grapes/oranges), and pudding. Overall this is a great deal for the price. For around $ 10 a person, this meal leaves my stomach and wallet happy. Although there’s hardly any meat(except chicken in the chicken noodle soup), I always leave this place very satisfied and it’s a restaurant I have frequented for many years.

I come here very often, usually once a week and always get great services. The cashier starts us off by a friendly smile, and asks if we have coupons. Then we go sit down and the severs(more like cleaners) are so nice and continuously ask if everything is good(please tip them!) Now the process: You enter, and start off with making your own salad– there are I believe 4 different salads. Still good amount of options. Then you pay. You can start off by eating your salad or just go and dig into the buffet. There are several different types of soups, pastas, pizza, breads, cornbread. And they also have a good amount of various kinds of desert, my favorite is the ice cream and tapioca! There are a good amount of varieties of foods, great service, free 2 hour parking, and plenty of seats. Come and try souplantation but be prepared to fall in love!
