We went to the store to get a simple repair done on
a leather seat cushion… resewing some buttons that
had come loose. We found it a challenge to find a
place that would do this. We dropped by the SCU
shop and Amado stopped what he was working on in
order to fix our cushion right away. He normally does
reupholstery rather than repairs. We appreciated
his friendliness, generosity, and professionalism (he
did a great job.) Thanks Amado…

Great job! I had my dogs lick a hole in the faux leather couch cushion, and this place not only found a great match to re-​upholster it, but covered top and bottom (the bottom wasn’t leather before) so it’s flippable now. Now to keep the dogs from ruining it again!

I had been meaning to re-​upholster my chair cushions for nearly 5 years! So, I did a Google search of all the upholsters in a 20 mile radius of North Hollywood. I found Sofa Custom Upholstery which was just a few blocks from my house.
I can’t say enough about CSU. Amado is a true professional. He’s wildy passionate about this trade, he offers advice and suggestions that are REAL versus telling me what I want to hear. His prices are reasonable and his quality is the best. Addtionally, he’s licensed and legit.
It has been the most positive experience. And, it reaffirms why giving business to the independent guys is so important. His focus on customer satisfaction is like no other. I am a total fan of this business.
