Dr. Darvish is a leading physician in medical aesthetics. I trust him and his awesome staff, Kathy is a terrific laser technician. I always feel comfortable consulting with them and I come out feeling great! I love my results after laser hair removal, no burn injuries, just impeccable skin!

I am so grateful to have found this place!!! I started getting IPL treatments from nurse Kathy(she’s awesome) who is a part of the wonderful staff. I am honestly so pleased with the results. Dr. Rafi Darvish who is the head doctor there is amazing! He’s honest, kind, extremely knowledgable and doesn’t rush your consultation like some doctors do. I would recommend this place 100%! They also have two locations! Here’s a before and after picture of sun damage on my forehead(after 2 treatments)

Great service and very helpful. Dr. Darvishand his staff are very caring and takes their time explaining everything. I brought my brother-in law here and Dr. Darvish and his staff treated him as family and helped him. I reccomend Skinpeccable to everyone.

Not recommended for treatment of moles. I asked the Dr. to examine a mole on my arm. He said he could tell it wasn’t cancerous because there was hair growing from it, but he could remove it anyway just so I wouldn’t worry about it. I asked about scarring, and he said there would be just a small scar, so I went ahead with it. After the procedure, however, I grew a gigantic, pink, puffy scar many times bigger than the mole itself and fish-shaped. When I came back to Skinpeccable, the Dr. said he didn’t know what the matter was, but that I should just put arnica on it. Then the receptionist tried to bill me close to a hundred bucks for that«follow-up.» Since then, I have spent about $ 4,000 with other Dr.‘s for injections, lasers, creams, surgical scar revision, etc. to try to improve the scar Skinpeccable left on me, but my arm is still much worse than before. Other Dr.‘s told me the mole should never have been removed in the first place because the area of the arm above the wrist has a tendency to scar badly. I wish I’d known that before. Skinpeccable also did a few other procedures on me. Most of them were ineffective, and two also had to be re-done by other Dr.‘s.

In addition to Dr. Darvish’s treatment plan I’ve started using their skinpeccable sunscreen/tinted moisturizer/primer called Melashade E and I’m extremely happy with it. I’ve never liked how tinted moisturizers look on my skin but this one is matte with a little bit of coverage and hasn’t broken my skin out surprisingly.

I started seeing Dr. Darvish not long after becoming painfully aware that I was grinding and clenching. My sister had been seeing him for about a year for TMJ. My first time there, the staff was nice and Dr. Darvish was professional and listened to my complaints. I saw him a few weeks later. Aside from a little snafu with billing, the process was smooth and I was in and out quickly. I recently tried to schedule another appointment with him but encountered new staff and weird miscommunication(I was waiting for a return call but staff said they called and spoke to me… when they hadn’t). On top of the scheduling restrictions(I can’t see him during the day anymore and he doesn’t work weekends), I decided to see another doctor. Anyways, if ever I’m able to I would definitely see Dr. Darvish again. I highly recommend him too(just keep in mind the staff seems ever changing and a little flakey).

There is absolutely no better dermatologist in town. Dr. Darvish is so nice and so helpful. He gave me a complete skincare routine that took my dull skin to glowing in weeks. The office is also AMAZING and top of the line. This is the place to get pampered. I would not trust any other doctor with my skin.

WOW! People search far and wide for the type of treatment, service and products that you will find here with Dr. Darvish. He is pleasant, knowledgeable and has your best interests at heart. He is a true keeper, and I am so lucky to have found this place. The products are great too. I have the sunscreen and brightening cream(a must for improving the tone and texture of your skin). Having firsthand experience with other dermatologists who are just so-so, I feel incredible fortunate to know Dr. Darvish. I am a customer for life! Thanks again!

Dr Raphael Darvish is a fantastic Doctor. Not only is he very professional, he’s also very human and understanding with his patients. He helped me with several problems and has always been thoughtful when it comes to financial situations. I would recommend him any day. PS: fellow Frenchys, Dr Darvish also speaks French! :)

Sheesh, I’m really sad that this dermatology clinic has received so many terrible reviews. I first visited Dr. Darvish when I had acne after moving to LA from Vegas 2 years ago. My skin cleared up and I absolutely loved the products I purchased. Since then, I have come back several times for facials. They are always magnificent! I have always received great customer service from absolutely everyone here. No complaints. Perhaps everyone needs to drink more water, eat healthier, stop pulling on your skin, wear less clogging makeup, quit sunbathing so much and expecting a miracle. Your body and skin are a direct reflection of what you do to them and what you put into them. Just my opinion…

I don’t often write reviews but this place is absolutely wonderful. I went in a few months back for a chemical peel and loved it. I’ve heard the stories of bad chemical peels and how they sometimes leave scars but this one was perfect my skin was looking great. Another plus was the staff they made me feel so at home and comfortable! Love this place I will be going in again very soon!

I suffer from pretty bad TMJ issues. I’ve probably been grinding/clenching my teeth without a night mouth guard for at least 5+ years before I realized what I was doing. By the time I started to wear one, it only just protected my teeth, but did nothing for the joint pains. It’s been getting worse and I’ve tried everything from stretching it, trying to pinpoint the causes, popping advils like m&ms, etc. My friend told me to try botox for relief so I did at another office. They gave me 20 units and it was okay, but nowhere near the level of comfort I had hoped for. When I got to Dr. Darvish’s office, he told me that for TMJ issues, they typically inject up to 25PER side. Thank goodness I listened to him. He also asked me where I feel the most pain when in the past other doctors just inject along my jawline. Dr. Darvish spaced it out around that area, but also injected at the point where it hurts the most. It’s been a few months and I’ve had the best results. I sleep better and my jaws don’t ache continuously throughout the day. Front desk is always a pleasure to deal with. Those ladies are so nice and helpful. I also appreciate that wait time is minimal. My last visit there was a slight delay, and he apologized for it. Even that delay is nowhere near as bad as other offices. So unless they come up with a cure for TMJ, I’ll be returning to Dr. Darvish.

Love skinpeccable. Found them on Unilocal and decided to go for a consultation for a mole removal on my chin. The girls at the front desk are AWESOME. From dealing with my never ending questions on the phone, to their welcoming attitudes in the office, they have been so pleasant. Anywho, My last derm messed up on the same mole, and as you can imagine its not a great feeling to have a raised red scar on my face. I went for a consult with Dr. Darvish and he was extremely thorough and took the time needed to explain to me the options, and had patience in figuring out exactly which procedure would be best for me. He followed up after my procedure with a phone call, which was really appreciated since I was anxious about the post procedure results due to my last experience. I felt hardly any pain during the mole removal and had thorough instructions on aftercare. My scar isn’t raised anymore, however it still has a red pigment. The biggest problem I had with my scar was that it was raised, and thankfully I can now just use good ol concealer to cover it up. During my follow up he gave me options for pigment removal, which I am getting done soon! Looking forward to the final result!

I have been a loyal fan of Anastasia for over two years. My hair grows fast and it requires a trip every 2 weeks(No, I will not pluck at home in between to prolong visits). Having been deathly afraid of laser treatment for years, I finally decided to give it a shot to see if I can eventually dwindle down on trips to the waxing salon for normal touch-up every so often like most other customers. Plus, there were other areas I wanted to zap that Anastasia’s doesn’t do. This went way better than expected. Service here was friendly and the technician spent more time answering my questions and alleviating anxiety than zapping. All in all, the procedure took less than 10 minutes and I barely felt anything but cold air. Ask for the numbing cream first, it helps. Buy, take home, and apply 30 minutes before your next visit. The only drawback, parking absolutely sucks, especially if your appointment is near 6, when the building lot closes, since meters are 1hr max and you have to pay until 8. Will see how the next 5 visits go, but I’m under the impression that after treatment is complete, I will need far less visits for waxing and the other small areas(ears, nose, etc…) will no longer need to be plucked. If not, I’ll update. PS – I hate posting reviews for places like this, since it lets the whole world know your ailments and imperfections.

I had never received any facial treatment but with my wedding weeks away, I wanted to give my skin a little TLC. I made an appointment with Dr. Darvish and just a few days after called in an appointment for my Mom at the same time. The front office was kind enough to make accommodations for us both on such short notice. My Mom scheduled a chemical peel and I scheduled a consultation(didnt want to book any treatment without knowing what I needed first) but after meeting with Dr. Darvish he determined a chemical peel would be good for me too. Because it was near closing time I was told I may need to come back but Cynthia(the aesthetician) said she could take care of me the same day if I didn’t mind waiting. Sure enough within a few minutes I was given a chemical peel and felt great! This was a wonderful first experience and I definitely plan on going back to Cynthia & Dr. Darvish in the future! **I have to note that Dr. Darvish takes his time and answers all your questions. Though this may make him slightly late to other appointments(I read complaints on other reviews) its definitely something I can appreciate because the last thing I want to feel is rushed when inquiring about treatments to my face/body! Its worth the wait seeing as you’ll receive the same attention, too. Parking isn’t too shabby on the side streets. No need for change as these meters take credit/debit cards which is a HUGE plus for me!

I called back to speak to the manager, and she actually got mad at me for Unilocaling. She said I should have waited to talk to her about my experience«before slandering [us] all over the internet.» Um, isn’t that the point of reviews– to explain the experience you encountered? And if the receptionist had been decent at all, I wouldn’t have«‘slandered». And besides, slandering is telling something in an embellishing or untrue manner, which isn’t the case. I was perfectly honest. Anyways, I can’t believe it’s my fault for telling about my experience. Is there an option for negative stars?

I have been going to Skinpeccable for Microdermabrasion with Cynthia and Laser Hair Removal with Kathy and I’m SOPLEASED with every bit of their service! 1) Cynthia is THEBEST skin care expert I’ve ever been to and I’m always pleased with my results. She’s thorough, yet not invasive. 2) Kathy is THEBEST laser hair removal specialist. I actually went somewhere else several years ago and had a horrible experience, so I was weary of trying it again. Kathy gave me a free consultation to explain the procedure, and the next day I had my first treatment. I could not believe the results!!! The only regret I have is not going to her sooner. As an African American woman, we need to be very cautious with laser hair removal, as it can be very dangerous if the tech is using the wrong laser and/or is not knowledgeable about the difference in lighter vs. darker skin tones with Laser Hair Treatments. I WOULDRECOMMENDSKINPECCABLETOANYONE!!! :-) Lastly, Ilana at reception is very friendly and professional. And Dr. Darvish is awesome! Professional, caring and does a great job of showing real concern for his patients. If you are on the fence about Skinpeccable… get off and go! They are all lovely. 5 stars for sure!!!

Dr. Raphael Darvish is NOT optimum in his field. He is NOT accessible, NOT easy to speak with, DOESNOT address all your concerns with time and patience, and DOESNOT have the professional approach or medical mannerisms to show that he is highly knowledgeable and experienced in his field. The technician on the other-hand was very professional and thorough. It was my first time to experience a microdermabrasion and throughout the entire appointment she made sure to describe what procedure she was doing as she was going thru the motions at the same time very attentive to make sure I was comfortable and not agitated. It is unfortunate that it is under the mentor of an incompetent doctor that she has to work with. I live in Brentwood and would find this institute a place of convenience and a reputable skin care office but because of the ill-manner and unprofessionalism on Dr. Darvish’s behalf I am completely turned off. To be in a waiting room for twenty minutes while hearing his conversation in the other room discussing his own personal life, knowing that he is scheduled to see a patient, is not only completely rude but shows immaturity in his profession. When it was convenient for him to actually arrive to speak to me regarding my procedure he was curt and showed no interest in discussing any questions I may have. To pay for a consult with Dr. Darvish was an insult.
