Meh, it was okay. My tacos were cold(chicken and carne asada) and I did get a skewer on the house due to… but I can’t say I’d do again.

This is like the Jerry’s Deli of the truck fusion world. Their menu goes from tacos to sushi to skewers and it doesn’t seem like they have half of their products or even a good grasp on what they were doing. The price was pretty cheap for the skewers and they tried to infuse Mexican cuts of meat with the yaki tori sauces, but really, it didn’t go well together. First off you get something really really salty. I mean, these things were really salty. I got a carne asada skewer as well as a chicken one. They didn’t have a check thigh one, so I guess I got the breast. Which, I suppose I am a boob man, so this one worked out. Though I have to say that it tasted waaaay too marinated. Like if it was dumped in two different and wildly separate marinates that didn’t work well together. You have the carne asada flavor with a whole mess of terriyaki sauce. Which created a massive salty and unfavorable flavor in my mouth. It was like there was a party in my mouth and the chino that crashed the quinceanera got in to it with the chulo chilling at the party and this was the bloody mess that resulted afterward. A total mix of asian and mexican fusions that really sucker punched you while you were just enjoying your tecate. If that makes any sense whatsoever. Then the chicken wasn’t anything to write home about either. Oh well, I was really was let down by this place. Though I will try them again in the future as I hear the Marked5 guys are taking over, or at least helping them revamp the menu and their selection. So while my review may not paint a pretty picture, I am optimistic for their future.

Ordered the«special» of 3 skewers on rice for $ 6.00 and was disappointed not only by the portion, but also with the beef jerkiness of the meat. It was more like the beef jerky chunks you buy at 7 – 11 smothered in teriyaki sauce.

This is one heck of a sizable tasty charbroiled burrito! Be warned — fork, knife, and napkins required. I’m masticating the chicken & beef burrito w teriyaki sauce right now as I type because I couldn’t wait to review! The truck is now operated by the Marked5 guys, it seems. Alas, if only you could bring this kind of quality to the Marked5 truck.
