This is one of those stores where you walk in thinking you needed a watch and then realize you also want a leather shoulder bag, a wallet, a present for someone in your life, a bike that’s so good-looking it makes you want to start biking again… For now, I just bought the watch, and I couldn’t be happier with it; in fact everyone was really helpful about suggesting sizes, strap options, etc. But I’ll be back often, there’s just way too much cool, beautifully-designed stuff in that place.

Consumers really do have the power by choosing where they spend their $. I try and support my fellow Americans so when Shinola came out with a simple journal(cotton cover) I had found my replacement for my moleskin.

$ 800 for a watch with a $ 14 quartz movement? No thanks. For that money I can get a quality Seiko with an in-house automatic(not quartz) movement and a hand-painted, lacquered dial.

Been a big fan of shinola for a while and luckily happened to pass by the store when I was in the area. Had an issue with a watch I had bought online and the staff was super helpful in helping me pick out a watch that worked for me. Great brand, great store, will definitely be visiting again soon!

It was time to ditch my slim LV Pocket Organizer, and upgrade to an even slimmer Shinola card case. I made the journey up to LA from SD(I’m too impatient to wait for something online), found a metered parking spot right in front of the store(there was a lot of parking around 12PM), walked in, and was greeted by a beautifully designed store, and an equally beautifully designed associate(lol). Charlie(super friendly) helped me out with my purchase and informed me that I could get my card holder monogrammed and if I wanted to – it would«take like, 5 minutes.» Cool. I didn’t, but he told that if I really wanted to later on I could come back and do so(spoiler alert: that’s gonna happen in Shinola Episode 2: Return of Carlo). Anyway, it was a solid experience, and it was nice to see all their leather goods in person. Everything looks, feels, and smells amazing. I sniffed my card holder twice and my sister said I had the same look I get when I snort coke(just kidding, that was a joke).

Stopped by here to get a peek at the bikes and watches. Cool modern store… very clean, nice staff, fun merchandise. Lots of cool watches. Bought a couple gifts and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Will be back.

I recently bought a watch from here and I am very impressed. I have never been to a store that is as clean and organized as this one, and when I say that I mean show room quality organized. Not a single piece was out of place. The staff were very helpful and friendly, they were there to assist at every moment I needed them. They answered all my questions and were not pushy to buy their product like at Nordstrom. I would recommend anyone to come buy their Shinola goods from here. Literally the best place to come buy your watch.

Beautiful store, love the design and aesthetic of all the products. All American made goods is something I can support. The staff was attentive without feeling pushy which goes a long way with me. Loved how everything was curated.

I’ve been a fan of Shinola products since they were taking pre-orders for their first watches and I have a few journals and a couple watches. Shinola’s products are well-made and it’s great that they’re American made. That said, the Shinola store was disappointing. I came on a day when they had some sort of special event happening. There were people standing all around and drinking while blocking the watches and other products. It was very difficult to figure out who was an employee and who wasn’t. I may have came at the wrong time but the focus of the store at that time seemed to be on the event they were throwing and damn anyone who was actually shopping. It’s disappointing as i did drive from far away to get to the Shinola store and it felt like I wasted my time.

Bought 4 watches here and a number of accessories over the past few months with my wife. The shopping experience is here is great – worked with Olivia on all occasions, and she has always been very professional, helpful and patient. I love coming to this store! I’d rather come here to buy full retail than to schlep over to Bloomingdales with a discount.

This store is extremely well-maintained. Not a single pen or journal sits out of place. I bought a hard linen journal for $ 19, and it was monogrammed for free with gold foil initials. The store associates were helpful and made themselves available without being overwhelming or really trying to sell you anything. Prices for leather goods and watches were really high, but the leather feels very soft, supple, and like pieces that would last for years to come. Even if you’re not shopping, I recommend stopping into this store just to look around!

So great that they opened a location in Silver Lake. Hubby bought me a watch for Christmas this year, and the face was a little bit bigger than I wanted. We took it back in and browsed their selection. They had a broad selection and were super helpful. Even when the store was full of people, we got individual attention. They swapped the watch out for the one I chose, no hassle! Selection is great, employees are friendly! The watches are not cheap, but are way more reasonable that most other watches in that category. Awesome, so happy.

Can’t even describe how stoked I am they opened one up in LA, especially on the East Side! Extremely high quality watches, bikes and leather goods at fair prices.
