I have been a regular customer for 8 years at Shin Soo Ok Skin Care & Permanent Makeup. Ms. Shin is fast and knows how to make people look most flattering way. My eyebrows look natural and it fits perfectly to my face shape. I am extremely satisfied with the result every time I come for retouching. I referred my mother, sisters and friends for eyebrows and moles removal. They became regular customers like me. Reasonable price and free parking will make you feel even better!

My korean is not the greatest but Ms. Shin was so nice and communicated with me to the best she could. I went to remove the many many moles I had on my face and it was a very short procedure. My dad also went with me to remove his moles on his face and back. She gave us a cream to apply for home. Ms. Shin is very friendly. she sat with me in the waiting room while my dads numbing cream was in effect. she answered all my questions I had about after care. I would definitely come back for other treatments!

My friend highly recommended this place to get my eyeliner done so I finally decided to give it a try. I was little nervous so I took my friend with me. The building looked old but it was clean, hugh, and had free private parking! When I walked into the salon, it was quite different than what I expected. The whole place had cute decorations here and there so it made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. Mrs. Shin greeted us warmly and the next thing I know I was already on a bed. She briefly explained to me how she will do it. I think it only took less than 30 minutes to do my eyeliner.(She is very fast just like I was told!) I didn’t have much swelling to begin with but I did cold compression anyway when I got home. I was very happy with the result because she did it exactly how I wanted my eyeliner to be.

She boasts 34 years of experience, but SOWHAT? Neither her experience nor her skill means anything because her customer service is non-existent. After my mom’s and my eyelid and brow procedure(permanent makeup tattoo), we both had some complaints, especially my mom. She was completely unhappy and totally distraught over her new eyebrows, but, like most Korean business owners, the lady wouldn’t own up to it. In fact, she was utterly offended that we had any complaints at all. She repeated over and over that she’d outlined my mom’s brows the way she had come into the shop looking. Well, she clearly lacks skill because both my mom and I know that her brows NEVER looked the way they do now. Instead of offering any words of assurance or any type of compensation, she threw a hissy fit and gave us an attitude. Are you listening? A hissy fit and an attitude. When she should have tried to remedy the situation by offering to redo or retouch her brows, which is PERMANENT, mind you, she couldn’t wait to work on her other client(s) who had been waiting because SHE hadn’t blocked off enough time for two people(me and my mom). She practically shooed us away. Her attitude and service were unbelievable. We would gladly pay another $ 240 to get our lids and brows retouched by someone else than to go back to her for free.
