Sherry Berry

Horrible! Well not exactly. I have never actually been able to buy anything from here. I tried to get some coffee one day and the coffee machine was broken. The next day I tried to get a yogurt and the yogurt machine was broken. I am sorry to say I am not giving this place another chance. The guy working there was pretty rude!

It is inevitable that Sherry Berry will fall victim to the great Froyo Melt of 2009. And, I bet some of you are just dying for the froyo bubble to pop.
Available in plain, strawberry, or mango.
$ 2.50 for a small. $ 4.00 for a large. 50 cents per topping.
The topping choices here are meager… with only a few fruit and nut choices. They don’t look that enticing either.
Tried the mango with strawberries here. Meh. The tarty flavor tasted off… and somewhat reminded me of McDees soft-​serve gone slightly bad. It was made of milk, for sure… because shortly after, I was reminded of my lactose sensitivity.
1.5 stars… but rounding up.

I work very near Sherry Berry and have seen many coffeeshop-​esque businesses come and go in its location. I had sworn off going there because all previous incarnations had the WORST coffee. When it became Sherry Berry, I was pleasantly surprised. Gone were the ridiculously prohibitive signs (to warn off nearby high school students, presumably) and in its place were a pleasing atmosphere and — are you ready for this — decent coffee!
However, in the past month or so, they seem to have undergone yet another change of ownership/​management. It’s still called Sherry Berry Frozen Yogurt, but now they have 1) stopped selling bagels (which was a huge draw), 2) been out of frozen yogurt (ummm…if you’re called Sherry Berry Frozen Yogurt, wouldn’t you think that’d be the one thing you always had on hand??) and 3) been out of decaf coffee.
Three strikes and you’re out. I’ll be waiting for the next change of hands before returning.
