I’ve been coming here since I was in middle school or even elementary school. I’m 23 now do that makes it about 10 or so years? Number might be a little off.
Tony is a really good barber. He’s fast and can recreate anything you want. I went to get one of those $ 95 haircuts in Beverly Hills to get the style I wanted. I took pics of it from different angles. I came back to Tony a few months later and he was able to get really close to the style, but for only $ 8. You can’t beat that.
They don’t wash your hair here, but hey, at $ 8, I’m not complaining.
I am sometimes put off by his older sister because she doesn’t cut as well and seems to get offended when I ask to wait for Tony.
These people are like family to me. They’ve celebrated with me when I graduated from undergrad at Stanford.
I’m sad they’re moving to a new location, but I hope it serves them better. Parking can be a little difficult at their current location with only metered parking available. Given how busy koreatown street parking can get, it could be a while before you find a spot.
I highly recommend this place!

I’ve been coming here for many years. Tony is the best in all of Los Angeles. For $ 8, you can’t beat it. That’s why I tip him $ 7 every time. I now live in Valencia but will drive 45 miles just to get a haircut here every 2 weeks.

Great place to get a quick hair cut. Price is very reasonable, and the stylist is quick and knows how to cut my hair. Way better than a few other hair salons that charged me three times as much for a fade that I could have done better with my eyes crossed… yes… that bad.
They’re also very quick, and heck… $ 10 for a hair cut… someone can go to Super Cuts and they’d get charged for more. The guy that does my hair is a bit older, but he’s always very friendly and does a great job. Only reason I didn’t give a 5 is because you’ll need cash… they don’t take card… and I don’t like carrying cash. Luckily there’s a convenience store next door that has an ATM… but good buy $ 2.50 due to service fees.
