Shah Yatin, DDS

I’ve been going to Dr. Shah since I was 11 years old. I grew up and moved away and tried two other dentists closer to me. All they did was try to find reasons to do unnecessary work on my teeth.
I went back to Dr. Shah; and even though it’s a drive, it is well worth it. He is gentle, understanding and most importantly will not rip you off.

This is an earnest, professional, and highly ethical man. Neither he nor his office is fancy but the service is superior and there are never hidden charges.

I’ve been to many-​a dentist in my time. Like, alot. I had a horrible experience with my last dentist — who took over the office of a dentist I loved. This new guy had me buying mouth guards and was pushing special mouth wash and… geez. I’ve learned that the nicer the office, the more aggressive the dentist is about pushing things you really don’t need.
So after I got married, my husband mentioned that his dentist was amazing. My husband, terrified of the dentist in general, had been going to Dr. Shah since he was 5 and is quite famous for biting the poor dentist on his first appointment. But ever since, Dr. Shah has been extremely gentle and understanding with my squeamish hubby. When I finally was able to make my appointment, Dr. Shah was so sweet and kind — even offering me a numbing agent during my standard cleaning — I had never been offered that before. That made a tough cleaning (I had waited three years between cleanings — shame on me!) much more enjoyable and downright painless. He made sure I was satisfied after he removed a seriously huge piece of plaque (am I really posting this online?) and double checked that I could no longer feel any remaining pieces of the tartar.
His offices aren’t bougie, but in my opinion, that makes him a better dentist. I’ll continue to go to this great, kind dentist!

Dr. Shah is my dentist. He may not be a fancy dentist but he’s honest, caring and very friendly. He’s next to a laundromat. He doesn’t have a fancy office, but he and his staff Yolanda and Araceli are first class all the way.
