Make sure your part fails within their hours! It cost $ 329 to replace a gasket in our washing machine ⁸⁄₂₂. On ¹¹⁄₂₂ (Saturday) at night, it failed totally and there was water all over our wood floors. They were closed until Monday.
Calling them first thing in the morning Monday 11/​24, they advised the gasket was out of warranty and there was nothing they would do.
These are designed to last for years and it didn’t even last 3 months. When we asked about the warranty length he said, «that depends on what you’re using it for». Really? We were just washing a load of broken glass and razor blades, jerk. FOR WASHING CLOTHES! Pathetic.
The part failed high on the gasket where the inlet valve puts water into the machine — there was no rip or tear in the rubber anywhere that normal washing would give a gasket wear and tear. Clearly a manufacturer defect and they wouldn’t even consider looking at the part because it was past ¹¹⁄₂₂. Not a trustworthy company and zero customer service skills.
