Awful. Service was lame. Not nice not helpful. Bunch of folks looking bored. Tempura udon was salty and bland at the same time. Broth tasted as if it came from instant pack as well as the noodle. Skip it

Just decided to eat some sushi here today and would have to say that we were really disappointed in the subpar service. My pregnant wife orders a lobster roll with scallops. Now we know seafood is a grey area for pregnancy but hey if everything is cooked and the base roll is a Cali roll. What’s the big problem, but we do ask for the scallops to be cooked all the way through. So thirsty minutes later after we see the people who ordered Behind us eating we check the counter and lo and behold our roll is sitting there. I guess if you order from the counter they don’t care about you. So not only are we eating a cold roll, the scallops are only half cooked. So overall they seem to not really care. If that’s the case I will not care to come back. I try to not leave bad reviews, I just never come back. But today is different, my encounter today is just that disappointing.

Overpriced for such bad sushi. the cuts were to thick and the rice was raw and did not taste like sushi rice. Apart from that I got sick after eating it. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

The food is okay, overpriced and nothing special in a town full of great sushi and udon. The service, on the other hand, leaves something to be desired. We ordered, paid, and waited for our food. And waited. And waited. The others in our party who had ordered from other restaurants in the food court had already received and finished their food by the time our udon was ready, but the sushi was not there. They let us stand there for ten minutes before they even realized that we were waiting for more food. We finally asked about it and the cook said he hadn’t gotten a ticket for it, so he refused to make it. The register person said she remembered charging us for it but he still wouldn’t do it until we produced the receipt. Another in our party had paid so we had to go get the receipt from them to prove we had paid for the food. I don’t know why they didn’t just look it up in the system and not act like we were trying to get something for free. Won’t be back.

Terrible. Overpriced for bad sushi. Bad service. 6 workers sitting around gossiping, no one eating at their bar, and they can’t even fill our water glasses. Dry chicken breast used in their teriyaki bowl. Skip this one!

Food sucks! They call that kind of things sushi??? Some ugly rice mixed with tuna. Look like rice balls! And they don’t accept discover, I even have to go back to company for picking up another card!!! Because they ask me to leave my ID there!

I will give it 3 stars as we only ordered 2 entrees. The popcorn lobster roll was good. Nice portion. The seafood salad was Meh! 2 pieces of flattened shrimp, old lettuce, an odd type of crabmeat with a really good sesame dressing. Definitely wasn’t worth the 13.00. Would I try it again? Probably. But there are quite a few other options that I might would try first.

Got there at the last minute, but staff was all nice and gave great service. My daughter loved having a «real» California roll in California. LOL It tried a very spicy entrée that was served on jalapenos. Very impressive! Clean, good food, great service… solid pick!

I couldn’t find a table at the food court and ended up picking this place because there was no line and it has its own seatings. Ordered sushi combo special with miso soup at the cashier. I paid and the cashier didn’t say anything so I assumed I had to seat myself. Do I just get a seat and wait? Yes. I got my seat and was just waiting for my food. A guy sat next to me and the same worker ran to him and offered him a drink. That’s weird because I’d been there for almost 10 minutes and nobody offered me a drink. The worker came and asked me to pick up my own food. She was probably only 5 chairs away from me and wouldn’t bring my tray to me. Your food is ready. I thought you’re supposed to get a table and wait for the food to be delivered to the table? We usually do. but not when we are busy. Wow! You went to get me just to let me know to get my own food. And no… you were not as busy as other places at the food court. How am I supposed to know when you are«busy» when you are not doing anything? 4 pcs sushi with any special roll($ 14.95): tuna, salmon, ono, albacore and dragon roll. I ate them because I was starving. The fish quality was not great. The worker referred to $ 6 special roll(¾ size) as half order. Half order is ½, no? 2 stars! Seiki-shi sushi is not yummylicious!

We went in spur of the moment. The fish was very fresh & firm. The service was very quick. K would give it another star except that they are limited on the kinds of fish they have — what they do have was really great! If you like spicy — try the Spicy Mexican — excellent!

Working in Century City has its perks, such as being right next to the Westfield mall with tonssss of yummy food choices in the food court. However, Seiki-Shi Sushi is not one I would frequent again after the first visit. Against my better judgment, I took a chance to eat at a sushi restaurant in a food court. I ordered the spicy tuna salad for around $ 10. What came to me was not spicy tuna, but a very sad excuse of mushed-up crap.” Gawd, at that point I couldn’t even tell if it really was spicy tuna! What kind of spicy tuna salad comes not in small chunks of spicy tuna, but all nastily mashed up?! Obviously, it was a very disappointing meal. I don’t like my raw fish mashed up like mashed potatoes. The salad was also very bland and lacked a proper sauce like most Japanese restaurants provide. 2 stars — for not coming back.

I really enjoyed the chefs eight pieces sashimi special and the seaweed salad was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised. Great attentive service and nice portions of good food. Enjoy!

When I hear the words food and court said in succession I have a clear picture in my mind. First off I’m usually 16 in this picture, because that’s the last time I remember spending any significant amount of time in a food court. Second, I think of all of your standards… The fast food burger joint, fast Chinese food, pizza, and lemonade and corn dogs served to you by girls dressed as provocative characters from a Dr. Seuss book. What I do NOT think of is places like Seiki-Shi Sushi. I cannot believe that I’ve never been to this mall let alone experienced the crème de la crème of food courts. 16 year old Kara is feeling like she got the shortest of short ends of the stick. I had the tuna salad and my friend had the sashimi, both amazing! It was the perfect dinner before our movie. Will definitely be back.

Awesome sushi grade fish for a mall food court. Price point was affordable as well~ During the recent heat wave, I was sick of nengmyun(korean cold noodles) but couldn’t handle a hot meal just yet so I ordered and gobbled up the $ 15 assorted sashimi. The bf ordered a sesame chicken and cali roll combo as well and had no complaints. Recommended!

I don’t get all the harsh reviews here. Probably just from idiot hipster scum who deserve to be eradicated from planet Earth. Stopped in here before catching a film. Service was quick, food was fresh, delicious, price was fair for decent sushi in a food court. Way better than hitting up Which Wich, that’s for sure. I would indeed go back before catching a film here.

Conveniently located inside the Century City mall food court; this place a great alternative to your typical food court fare. Seating is bar style, so dining with more than one person here makes for awkward conversation. Service is fast and much friendlier if seated at the bar. The girl taking orders at the counter was a little rude when I asked questions about items on the menu. The menu offers many options; I’m a fan of the spicy tuna roll, teriyaki salmon, and cheap sake(can’t go wrong there). The portions are decent, but for the price I expected a little more($ 12-$ 14 per roll). The food always tastes fresh and delivers great flavor. Great for lunch, but be prepared for higher prices than you would expect in a food court.

It may be slightly better than your average food court fare, but this is a particularly nice food court, with tons of better options. The food here is overpriced($ 14+ for some gyoza and california rolls), and more importantly, the service is *terrible* The cashier never cracked a smile or even bothered answering my questions about the menu… just stood there scowling until I ordered some stuff. It was especially nice when I asked for brown rice and got a brusque«No brown rice» with an eye roll — like *I’m* the idiot for asking for something that’s on the menu. Does that mean they were out at the moment, or the menu had changed, or what? Then, my food came out on a plate, and when I informed them that the order should have been to go, again, not a single word — she just abruptly turned around, tossed all of my food by hand into styrofoam containers, and shoved it toward me without so much as a «whoops, our bad.» I didn’t even bother asking them to reverse the tax, though I absolutely should have. As of today, there were 4 or 5 empty spots in the food court… a lot of places don’t seem to last long. I really wish this one would be the next to close.
