This place is SICK… best spot at LAX airport. Just like SEaLegs in OC, this SeaLegs did not disappoint. Amazing food, atmosphere and service.

I thought I would give Sea Legs a try before catching my flight home. I have watched this develop through construction. Sea Legs in OC is an excellent restaurant. The atmosphere and décor are quite nice. Even though the space is small and quite tight. A U shaped bar is surrounded by soft seating on the two sides. Great for small parties of two. The menu is an abbreviated version of their original site. Good selection. Too bad they don’t have the Mac and cheese. I started with a pineapple basil mojito with a large pineapple wedge. The presentation was very good. The drink was pretty good as well. I am not sold on the basil however I wanted to try something different. To beat back hunger I tried the spicy chianti chicken tacos with mango guacamole, pickled onions, radish and micro cilantro. The three little tacos were perfect bite sized morsels with excellent flavour. Service was friendly and quick. The manager assisted me as the bartender was very busy. Great to see early in the morning. I would highly recommend trying Sea Legs if you use terminal 2 at LAX.
