Parking is available in the tiny lot on the corner of the street since majority of the streets are painted red. I paid in cash. Was going to just get a burrito, but I had to try more than one item off their menu… because I like variety when trying out new spots. 1 chorizo mulita, 1 asada taco, 1 pastor taco, &1 pollo taco. Everything was really good and came with salsa, sliced radishes, jalepenos, and carrots. The tacos were I think $ 1-$ 1.50 at most? I can’t remember exactly. The mulita was $ 2.50? Here’s another taco truck added to my list for not necessarily super late night, but the dinner time frame.

Best tacos in LA. The meat is cooked perfectly, the tortillas are great, and the salsa is amazing. Really like that you get cucumbers with your tacos. Everyone there is really nice also. Come out and support amazing local business. You won’t be disappointed.

Come for the chicken necks, stay for the best al pastor quesadilla you’ve had in recent memory. Have to come back to try some of the other more delicious options.

Protect your neck… Chicken neck that is lol When ever you are in the mood for a wings alternative snack, this is your place. The order of chicken necks aka orden de pescuezos is the way to go. There sauce they give you is spicy but not too hot that you can’t enjoy the food. Speaking of their food everything taste fresh and yummy. There tortas de milanesa are top notch. Highly recommended. Sometimes I call my take out order and watch the football game at the house snacking on them neck bones. Ps. Go Panthers!

I can’t count the amount of taco trucks and taco spots I have tried, many don’t even come close to this one. They have a kitchen on a lot where they make everything fresh. I have never found a spot that makes better quesadillas, they grill them on the cheese side as well, making it extra flavorful and a little crispy.(The chefs are so fast, it’s crazy how skilled they are at flipping those things.) their horchata is so good, I get one every time. I’ve tried their chicken necks(which I think is their specialty) and almost every taco on the menu and it’s all perfect. The people working there are the nicest and service is correct and fast. Crazy how affordable all their food is. LOVE this spot.

Whenever I come to LA I have to try the food trucks. I stumbled upon this place looking for the Mercado and saw the line so I had to try it out. I was amazed at how they actually have the meat fresh there and not like others just sitting in a plastic bag and put on the grill when someone orders something. I heard a couple people ordering the pescuezos(chicken necks) and had to give them a try! The salsa that comes with them is pretty spicy for my liking, but with some extra lime juice, they are sooo good! There’s not much meat on them obviously but they are pretty tasty! The pineapple juice is to die for!!! The price is awesome for the amount of food you get! If you’re ever in town, you have to give this place a try!

I’ve been going to this place for more than 10 years and they never fail. Love their chicken necks!!! Their salsa is the best, can’t go wrong. I wish they can have one closer to my house but the drive is worth it. Their horchata is the best too. Now, they can take your order over the phone. Awesome!

Best tacos ever! Been coming to this spot since I was 3 and wouldn’t change it. Now I drive from the inland empire with my lady and son. My son who is 1 loves them too! This spot is a must when around the area. Great prices on the tacos as well.

When I arrived I thought I had fallen asleep and woken up in TJ, area is a little sketchy. The food, though… man oh man. So delicious. I had the al pastor and asada tacos. Man o man, I felt like I was in my family’s home state of aguascalientes. Delicious! My new favorite Taco truck. And they have parking(although you have to get into it by going through the pedestrian ramp) and they have a patio with seating! The service was on par with typical mexican hospitality. Super friendly and made you feel like you were at a friends house. Highly, highly recommend.

Tacos are great! The chicken necks are amazing! Very friendly staff! I got there late, ordered my food and a horchata. Instead of saying«sorry we are out» The guy went and made more! This was 2:30 am! Totally recommend this place! My husband, who doesn’t like to drive far would drive to eat here again!

Nothing beats their deep fried chicken necks. If you order them, be sure to include the salsa and extra tortillas. Grab plenty of napkins, because if you finish your meal and your hands are still clean, you’re not doing it right. The tacos de cabeza are also good.

The chicken neck tacos, from this obscure Taco Truck in East Los Angeles, were listed as on of the top ten restaurant dishes of 2014, according to LA times food critic Jonathan Gold. The salted and fried chicken necks come wrapped in tin foil. You are given tortillas, salsa, cucumbers, jalapeños and cilantro/onion mix on the side to create tacos as you wish. My single order contained about 6 chicken necks of various sizes with varying amounts of crispy fried skin attached. Some pieces were meaty and some pieces were dry, but all were carnally delicious. Gnaw, Gnaw, Nom.

Been coming here since I was in the womb! If you’re broke or don’t want to spend so much money come here! Try the pesquesos, their specialty! Eat tacos, tortas, burritos, etc just come and have good true Mexican food.

A fan for sure. Coworker read an LA Times article about chicken neck tacos here so we piled in a car and went on a lunchtime mission. The good /great: Fried chicken necks(this is what they are known for): Delicious and they say it includes 4 in an order for. only $ 2.50 but mine came w/like 6! They come with tortillas and salsa so you can make your own tacos. I just munched on the necks and had the tortillas with salsa afterwards. Service: Very friendly and helpful The«not so great»: Parking Tables /Sitting area Definitely should try — I would get these to go in a big order and take back to the office next time.

I have been coming to this taco truck for years. I love the taste of the asada very flavorful. The tortillas are not dry like other places. And the pescuezos(chicken necks) are soooooo delicious. I love that it’s a family own truck n the have there own lot for parking, area to sit and enjoy your tacos. I highly recommend this place. Best taco truck in Boyle heights/east la

This is why you read reviews before you go! The Carne Asada and Al Pastor tacos were good but not great. If I had know that chicken necks were the thing I would have gotten those instead. Next time. The fact that they’ve got a truck next to their closed brick and mortar store seems a little odd but I ‘spose it saves on property tax.
