Just came in from off the street. Easy parking out front. Clean and nice menu variety. Ordered chicken Kebob plate. Food was very very good. Rice was cooked perfectly as was the chicken. Chicken was seasoned nicely. Salad was fresh and tasty balsamic dressing. Ordered lunch size and was lots of food. Would definitely recommend it.

Ugh. What a let down. The tuna salad sandwich tastes too fishy and the turkey meat tastes bad. They did however take a whole two dollars off of the eight dollar sandwich. Give me a break. I could make these sandwiches at home for cheaper and they’d taste a whole lot better. I’d suggest passing on this one

My first time at Santa Monica Café and Lounge, and it won’t be the last! When I entered the place, I was warmly greeted and welcomed by a charming young lady. So rare nowadays, that I decided to get something to eat with my diet coke. I chose to order a waffle, and it turned out to be THEBEST F… WAFFLE I HAVEEVERHADINTHISCOUNTRY! Very light and flavorful! It might be stupid for me to say, but that waffle just made my day!!! ;)

I had such a redeeming experience here tonite! Chicken wrap was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and fantastic! Coffee was freshly brewed even though it was 7pm when I ordered. The girl taking my order was super sweet. My order was up in 10 minutes. They left out the cheese like I asked and the salad dressing was served on the side.

I ordered the Mediteranean Chicken wrap. i must say it was better than I expected! Chicken was well seasoned and they gave you a generous amount. They did get my order wrong in which I ordered rice instead of a salad but the main entrée was delicious. The menu on the wall is difficult to read due to being in small print.

So Disappointed!!! This place use to be called Jooji Garden, and I don’t know if they have new owners or what, but there Greek Salad use to taste good. Now it lacks flavor and they don’t even use the Greek dressing??? On top of that I ordered grilled chicken and the chicken use to look nice and taste descent, but NOW it taste BLAND. Won’t be ordering from here anymore.

Mediocrity at its most mediocre, small portions, bad service and expensive, oh well, I won’t be back

I am so glad I found this place and will surely be back often! There are some errors on Unilocal about this place: it is not a hookah bar at all(it is a coffee and food café) and it IS open on Sundays. Very clean, spacious place. Waitresses were both awesome! Great customer service. I have NEVER seen a place with so many different types of food options. They have apps, soups, salads, breakfast, wraps, Persian, Chinese, Italian, and more at this place! The food was exceptional as well, very tasty and fresh. Oh, they also have quite a coffee drink selection as well. HIGHLYRECOMMEND!!!

Ok, saw this and decided to try before church for breakfast. Hard to find the entrance then the white tile floor had muddy footprints leading to the kitchen. they had the pail and mop out near the eating area, but the only person we saw, the waitress, didn’t do anything about it. It’s new I guess but the refrigerated cases wee empty, and broken, in the eating area. Huh? The food wasnt anything better than you can make at home. No seasoning on anything. Won’t go back

I stopped here with some of my crew not too long ago to have some breakfast on a Sunday. The location is… a bit odd. It’s kind of your quintessential Los Angeles spot, buried in the bottom of an office building. Everything around it is nice and sterile. We ordered traditional breakfast items… scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, fresh fruit. The fruit was good. Everything else was alright. I mean, there was nothing wrong with it per se, but you could create the same thing in your kitchen for less money. I wouldn’t say that it was worth your time to come here for breakfast. The Persian food might be good but that part of the restaurant was not open.

After a nice weekend workout, my husband and I stopped by to grab some lunch. They were still serving breakfast(yay for him) at 12PM, so I know you bfast lovers would like that. I got the kabob and was really confused over the raw onion they gave me. I thought it was an appetizer or something, but it wasn’t. I asked the nice server and she let me know it’s for my plate. I felt so dumb! I guess I’m just used to it coming out together and cooked. Anyways, my kabob was delicious and service great.

A disappointment to say the least. My family was in the Beverly Hills area and noticed this clean little café on Santa Monica Blvd as we drove out of town. They messed up the order and what was considered a pancake looked like roadkill. Everything tasted like bacon. Paid cash so they wouldn’t have my credit card.

I must start out by saying the food is great! Fresh, large portions, good prices. But the service! OMG! I asked a few questions about the food on the menu. The waitress didn’t know shit. She had to go get some picture menu to look the stuff up, and even then she couldn’t explain it. We ordered some yogurt dip as an appetizer.(It was listed in the appetizer section). I made sure to ask her if it would come out before our other food because we wanted to eat it as an appetizer. She said that it would. It took forever for her to scoop out some yogurt, gather some bread and butter and bring to us. Then she brings my kebab along with the yogurt. I told her I thought it was an appetizer. She said it «comes with the lunch». I said NOITDOESNOT! It’s listed as an appetizer, and it should be served as an appetizer. Besides, I told I her I had specifically said i wanted it first, did I not? She said, yes you did. The place was practically empty, yet she never came over once to see if the food was ok, or to fill out water. Pathetic. I don’t blame her as much as I blame the owner/manager for not training the poor thing. She doesn’t know shit about customer service. What a shame. No wonder the place was so empty: OWNER: PLEASETRAINYOURSTAFFSOTHEYKNOWWHATYOUARESELLING, INSIDEANDOUT, ANDHOWTOTREATYOURCUSTOMERS. There aren’t that many things on the menu to learn.

Well let me just start by saying that they have the best breakfast and Persian food I’ve ever had and to top it all of with a wonderful hookah, the owner is a very wonderful man and the nicest. The service is great, and it’s a new place so they are on there way up :). If your in the Town or close by you should definitely go there I promise no regrets :).
