The food was decent but a bit pricey. The beef Jap-chae plate was $ 10 and half of it was white rice.

Nice small place for take out food. The only problem for me it the bbq series have a weird spice that I personally didn’t like. The Kalbi is very good. Kimchi frie rice is the best. I only try those korean food on the menu. What are you expecting for something like sushi in a korean place?

It’s okay nothing great. I was disappointed when I saw the lady make taken from a packages brand(shin ramen). U guess waft do you expect it’s fast food and cheap. They also stopped delivering which is the only reason why I ate there so often. It’s good for something fast and decent.

My husband and I came here because this place got 4 stars on Unilocal.I guess our expectations were too much. It was the weirdest spicy tuna rolls I’ve ever had. It was bland and didn’t have any flavor. They’re cheap, but I’ve had cheap food that’s good.

Yum! Fresh kimchi, bi bim bop made to order. This place is so close to my office yet I always advised it because of the homeless people and crack addicts that hang out in front of this stand at the bus stop. Serves me right for making assumptions! Fresh fresh food. Get it to go but is reasonably priced and substancial.

Just ok. Pretty much what you’d expect from this little stand. Decent, not great, Korean fast food. I’d go back just cause it’s cheap, but no rush, was hoping for more.

Sorry had to change it because they use packaged ramen… Shin ramen that you can buy at the Asian market for like $ 1.00. I feel so jipped! But I guess how else are you supposed to make it from a little place like that? Food is not that great… But I’m korean that has tasted the best!

Didn’t expect it to be this bad, maybe all the other reviews are fake or they have never had Korean food before.

I was searching for a small restaurant for lunch with my buddy and this did not disappoint. We walked past it twice before noticing it the third time. It’s on the corner of the street, kind of looks like a key maker hut. I ordered the burrito and it was fantastic. Definitely ask for their hot sauce. It’s a must and it taste great All in all, it’s easy, quick and a fun little local place

Oh man. expect the unexpected, guys. I really did not expect my food to be so bad. This was my first time at this place and I ordered the spicy korean bbq burrito, at the recommendation of some of the Unilocalers. I also ordered the spicy«tuna» roll. I second the Unilocaler who said the meat tasted a little«citrusy». Not sure if they did that on purpose, but it was unpleasant. The burrito itself was plain, it was just a tortilla with white rice(mushy) and bulgogi with gochujang(spicy pepper paste) with itty bitty pieces of cabbage. I was even hesitant in giving the leftovers to this pigeon walking around our table cuz it was pretty nast. If you want a legit korean bbq burrito, try Tommy’s Tacos in Westwood. It is very tasty. The spicy tuna was also inedible. I never had to dissect a sushi roll before and I cringed when I had to extract the plastic-like mush just so I wouldn’t waste the rest of the roll. I would save 12 $ and go to Gushi in Westwood or something for some better Korean food. I’m all for trying new things, so I won’t discourage others to try the other food on the menu. I say that with a grain of salt. A large grain of salt.

Situated just across from each other, Mom’s Bar and Lee’s are the one-two punch of good times for day-drinkers. In the time it takes you to finally get seated at a table on the patio of your favorite weekend brunchery, I’ve finished a few rounds of drinks at Mom’s and have even started to soak that up with some delicious Korean take-out. That’s right. Fuck yo’ brunch. I’m a personal fan of the bibimbap and have been known to even order it without the rice. Lee’s goes heavy on the rice, so know that going in. Speaking of things you should know, Lee’s shares a parking lot with a Domino’s and a 7 – 11. It’s a constant stream of cars coming in and out and not all of the them have the common sense to use mirrors. So, use your common sense and park on SaMo and give good ol’ Mom’s a visit. I mean, you seriously don’t call her enough.

I came here before(a year ago) and enjoyed a kimchi fried rice, feeling relieved there was a decent Korean spot next to my house. Ordered one last night, and realized that the kimchi was over fermented and not right. I didn’t understand why they would proceed to make it with over fermented kimchi– as any Korean person would be able to tell. They added tons of sugar to over power the taste of the rotted taste. It was horrid. Even the color of it was a light pink… As a Korean person, I was really bummed out and threw it all away after two bites. Tasted like red stained sugar rice. I grew up on this dish and is one of my favs. Very disappointing. I hope they take more care in creating their dishes in the future.

Alcohol — Nope, it’s a shack. There’s a 7 – 11 about 25 feet away if you really need a beer or something(don’t forget the brown paper bag). Food — Pan-Asian/Korean style quick lunches. Staples include Teriyaki beef/pork/chicken plates, Bento boxes, Korean grilled meats. Food is pretty good, not the best but coming from a 10ft x 10ft shack on the corner of Santa Monica and Wellesley it’s good. Came here for lunch one day to meet up with some friends and it was quick and easy.

Lee’s Grill is a terrific place to grab some yummy Korean food and either go on your merry way or enjoy a roadside meal right off bustling Santa Monica Blvd! I came by and decided to try their Chicken Curry Bowl since it was the dinner special for the night. The order came with the curry and rice separated which was nice and it tasted really good! The curry wasn’t too spicy or salty and was a great comfort meal. I am definitely coming back to try all the other things on the menu including their tasty kimchi fried rice and burritos! Service was very fast and friendly as well. One complaint is that they close pretty early. This would have been such a good spot to come stumbling in after midnight to get some after-partying grub =).

I don’t know much about Lee’s Grill, but it looks like a family owned joint. I ordered the bulgogi plate($ 8.50) and the teri chicken and beef mix plate($ 8.50). All plates come with rice, a side salad, and a choice of drink. The portions are pretty big for the reasonable price, but a majority of the plate is rice. I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the meat, so next time I might try the korean bbq burrito or bibimbap. Or, if anything, the jap chae special is on Fridays for $ 7.50. Parking can be scarce, as the small lot is shared with 7 – 11 and the new WingStop. There are two tables if you want to eat there, but most people take it to go. Not a bad value.

Bottom Line; This is a great little(tiny and literally) Mom & Pop roll-up in a parking lot. If you like Korean food, do not miss this place! I was doing some fun banking stuff in the area and this was exactly the kind of place that I was searching for. I quickly ordered their Korean Burrito and it came out fast… and it was great! I would have liked to have a little more veggies in there but other than that, they killed it. AND the burrito is a decent size. Not so huge like a chipotle burrito that makes you hate yourself afterwards… I like this spot. Im going tomorrow to check out their chicken plate…

If you’re driving down Santa Monica Blvd in West LA, it’s pretty hard to miss this spot. You’ll see the sign on the corner advertising Korean BBQ, Teriyaki, rolls, and a smattering of other pan-Asian offerings. Usually that’s a sign that an establishment is a jack-of-all-trades, but I was hungry and willing to take my chances. It’s not a sit-down place, more of a window with a couple tables right outside if you can’t wait to get home to eat. I went with an order of California rolls, and while I noticed that the wait was a little long, it was more because the couple people in front of me had larger orders. When my order of rolls came out they actually seemed like they had been made right there on the spot. Really delicious, and for an order of 8 I was only out $ 4.00 and change. Hell to the yes! I even decided to make use of one of the 3 or so tables right outside the window to enjoy my little meal. Bonus! Free delivery, and wi-fi!

I’ll definitely order from this place again. I’ll ask for extra meat next time. I noticed there’s more veg than the meat itself. Delivery was fast. I didn’t have to wait that long. If you have some craving for some Korean dishes then check this place out.
