Rozina’s Beauty Salon

They were super fast and most of the people in the salon seemed to know what they were doing. The eyebrow thread shaping was only $ 5 and they made sure my client was content with the finished service. All the customers were treated equal, and some were dressed or looked better than others, but none were treated more high priority than others. The salon had plenty of workers so the wait time was very minimal. Parking is on a busy street and limited so side street parking is recommended especially since the wait will not be long. Worth a try and their prices are more than reasonable. Lastly, the crowd was diverse so if you are looking for a spot that is diverse, reasonably priced and does great work then try this spot out.

So, I’ve been once before and it was fine (eyebrow threading only). Today, I tried again and a new woman helped me. I didn’t get her name, but she wrecked my eyebrows. The inside bottom of one brow is way higher than the other (I’ll post an image). Then she tried to tell me she only removed «one eyebrow» and they were already that way. She continued to make excuses and did not apologize. Another woman offered to try to fix them. I was reluctant because I didn’t want to adjust the good brow to look like the bad one, but let her try anyway. It didn’t help much and she said my only option was to wait until they grow out. Tomorrow is my birthday. Totally sucks. If you go here, find «your girl» and NEVER use ANYONE else. I’m so sad.

On Dec.2015 I had an appointment with Rozina (the owner) for Brazilian Blowout — $ 175. She told me to wash my hair 3 days after the treatment. The result was very disappointing … She doesn’t know what Brazilian Blowout means.

This place is awful for threading! My daughter and I usually go to Sheila’s at beauty lab but couldn’t wait until Sunday. We should’ve as we’ll be going to her this weekend to fix our eyebrows. The lady that did mine was ok but the lady who did my daughter’s made them look worse than before. I wanted to give this place a chance since its so cloae to home but never again. Also… thee customer service also blows!

I found this place through a coupon someone gave me. The coupon didn’t have any expiration date or restrictions on days mentioned. When I called and asked about it, they said they can only honor Monday through Thursday. If you are going to put restrictions like this, it needs to be stated clearly in the coupon. The service hair color and cut done was way below expectations. I have to go to another place to get it corrected. When I brought the issue to the owner, her initial reaction was to tell the person working on me, why is she spending so much time on me. I came with a coupon and am not even paying full price! If you don’t want customers to come in with coupons, don’t advertise coupons!!!

The best highlights I’ve ever gotten! I love this salon and everyone there is amazing. I always get my hair done by Rozina, she is a coloring master and my highlights always look perfect. She is careful not to damage my hair with bleach and always suggests the best way to achieve the color I want.
This time I also got eyelash extensions and I cannot believe how natural they look. The whole process took less than 15 minutes and it looks like they will last me a long time.
My friends also get eyebrow threading here on regular basis and they are always happy with the results.
I will definitely keep coming back here :)

Amazing cut and color! Wow Rozina is a master at hair color. I went in drab and dark and came out bright and blonde — exactly how I wanted my hair to look. The service is top notch and I highly recommend to all my friends and family. Easy parking, no waiting and beautiful results. I had my eyebrows done, hair cut, color and blow dry. Reasonable and efficient. Rozina is very professional and so talented. Defiantly going back!

My eyebrows were horrid after I moved away from downtown so I’m glad I found a place close to my job to get my eyebrows done. There is 30 minute parking right in the front and street parking on the side streets. I never make an appointment and can usually be in and out in 20 minutes.
Not the cleanest or most thorough threading I’ve ever had but you really can’t complain for the price. I usually have to ask the threader to clean up specific areas but they are quick to do it!

Okay, this place is honestly a hidden gem for threading services!!! I have gone to so many brow spots in LA, and nothing beats their pricing and quality of service. For only $ 5 for eyebrow threading, my lady was TOP NOTCH! Her name is Fahimeh and she works Tues-Sat…so ask for her!

I never trust anyone with my hair and truthfully as Rozina was cutting my hair my heart was in my throat because this was a new place for me but the end result managed to exceed my expectations in every way! My hair has never been so smooth or looked to beautiful! I got a simply trim but my hair was transformed! Definitely my new holy grail hair salon! And the staff was very upbeat and welcoming! This is also great for anyone in a rush because they get you in and out along with great customer service!

Tahira does a great job at eyebrows! And she kept the place open for me since I got there 5 minutes after closing.

When I hear about this salon I have tommy each. It was long time ago but I can’t forget that day when I ask nicely for a hair cut and said plz don’t make it shorter. Then she make what she want not what I want !! And guess what it was the owner I though she will be pro but the result not even blessing it was different hair cut not close to the one I ask and she take a lot from my hair and make it short. All they need their money not their customer that’s why I’ll never go back to this salon one more time even if it’s the only one in the world beside the rude ppl their, I wish if I can rate less than one star.

The lady who did my eyebrows was wayyyy too fast. They don’t spend time to make sure they are doing it right. I asked to keep my shape and just do a little clean up but she made my eyebrows more round anyways. There is a credit card minimum (it is illegal for businesses to do that) so I walked down the street and took out $$ from an ATM. Annoying but it was only $ 5. Clearly you get what you pay for.

I go here all the time and have never had any terrible experience. Rozina herself is an amazing person and very helpful, she gives her clients time to make sure they are satisfied and happy before they leave.
All other girls are also very good with pretty much whatever they do. Highly recommended!!!

I don’t know what has happened to the high level of great threading here, but it has gone down the drain as I have been coming here for years. Tahira and the others are just doing an OK job on my brows. It’s not as clean and precise as it used to be, and you know something is wrong when I have to go to Chicago to get my eyebrows done and people are complimenting me left and right.
I am going to try Salon Beyond and see if they are any better because I’m not satisfied with how my eyebrows are coming out here.

If I could give this place negative stars I would.
My mother in-​law recently came to Rozinas to get her hair dyed and an application of extensions. She came for a consultation before getting the service done. First, her husband pays BEFORE the service is done — I don’t know of any business that requires this. Second, the hair extensions don’t match her hair color. Third, Rozina does not offer to dye the hair — what?! My mother in-​law leaves the establishment extremely upset with out anything done & the owner does nothing to correct this situation. She paid over $ 200 for nothing!!! Now they won’t even give her a refund. Please do not come here. One of the worsts hair salon businesses I have ever encountered

I came here when they first opened on a Monday and ladies were already coming in before work to get threaded. Jasbir did an outstanding job and you can’t the $ 5 price tag for eyebrow threading. I highly recommend going to her.

I really wanted to find a great local, well reviewed salon in my neighborhood. Unfortunately this salon is not that.
First experience: came in for a blonde root touch up & hair cut. The owner gave the color formula directions to the assistant who did the application, then left me to bake under the dryer for 45 MINUTES! When she washed out the color, she said «oh no, it didn’t lift all the way so maybe we could add low lights to blend it better for an extra cost» I left with burnt hair around my entire hair line and orange roots! My hair was so damaged and off color! The owner would not return my money, instead giving me a gift certificate to return.
Second experience: Rozina herself did my root touch up this time. Trying to fix the horrible condition of my hair, she told me I should color it dark brown and cut bangs to hide the breakage. If I came in for a touch up, why would I want bangs and a whole different hair color?! Anyway, I left again with another round of breakage and orange roots.
I’m sorry, but I will never return and strongly urge any blonde clients to reconsider before booking color services at this location.

Rozina is the best for haircuts and color, love the way my hair turn out. The blow dry was fast and love the volume.

I have a love– hate relationship w/​this place.
Mostly love which is why I’m giving it a 4.
Love: eyebrow threading.
Hate: everything else.
For eyebrows, go to Jasbir or Bindhu. My personal favorite is Bindhu, she really takes the time to make sure you’re happy. Jasbir is faster if you’re in a rush though.
Other questionable experiences:
Haircut: I think Rozina is best for girls, Yolanda for guys. Don’t go to anyone else unless you just want a buzz cut. I heard someone say to a client «oh, you want a scissors cut?»
Shampoo and conditioning: the sink or chair isn’t rinsed or cleaned between clients. Also when my hair was washed my shirt got pretty wet and I got smacked in the face by the lady. No apology. I wasn’t even pissed, just laughed.
Facial and mini facial: I don’t think the lady knew what she was doing.
Basically, stick to eyebrows ($ 5 is a steal) and haircuts by roz or yoli. Watch out for face smackers.
