Bought some food from this food truck at the MPK night market on 7⁄17 and sadly they had ran out of bacon for the day but they were still very accommodating in getting my order right. I had mentioned that I was working at the beer and wine garden with Goose on the Rocks the bartending company and they made sure I got my order quickly so I could get back to work. The burger I got was pretty good, meat was extremely tender. Kinda wish there was a bit more to it though, like their own sauce or something. Their seasoned fries were really great though! Friendly and chill people working there, would definitely try their other food some other time.

I brought Rolling Burger Barns in for a recent school event. The service *4 ½ stars*: Daniel was super professional and responsive about organizing the event. That goes along way with me! They delivered on their donation structure and our non-profit really benefitted from having them at our event. The arrived with the truck early. It was very busy but they serviced our crowd pretty quickly. The employees were nice. The truck looks great and they bring tables and chairs for people to sit. A HUGE plus! We booked the BBQ truck but I was told it got a flat on the freeway. I’m on the fence about whether or not that was true. I think maybe there was just an bigger event they decided to go to instead. So we were disappointed that truck did not make it. It was my first go at booking food trucks and can understand the strategy of driving more business to one truck. In the end it was successful but we would probably just book one truck at a time in the future. The food *4 stars*: It was my first try at the burgers. I asked for protein style and it was OK. It needed a special house sauce or something. It was big and filling. Families commented on the prices of the burgers but were glad to pay when they found out a percentage went back to our group. Many families ate and found it worth the try. I think if the had a house dressing on the burgers, I would have given the food 5 stars.

Horrible customer service ! Everyone on the truck is rude and unorganized very wasteful and completely uneducated on food allergies. We asked for no onions due to allergies should be simple and the response was just take them off we don’t take customer orders. Very disappointing and a huge waste of money!

Horrible service no one knows how to handle orders and they aren’t even that busy compared to the other food trucks. The food is just average.

I’m at one of their other food trucks. I’ve had literally 45 minutes waiting in line contemplating whether or not I want to write this review. Good thing by the time I got to the window, they were out of everything… Including water. My bbq ranch sandwich didn’t have ranch because they were out of that too… Well I hope the food is good but that may be another 45 minutes… 2 stars because it smells good. One can only dream…

@BurgerBarns Your stalkers has been following and reviewing food trucks for a long time. Sometimes I forget that I automatically do things to circumvent the inconvenience of long lines and poor service. One of those things is when I’m going to a gathering of say 5 or more trucks for lunch, try to get there before 11:45 — 12:00. The lines are shorted, the food is fresher and nerves are not rattled from dealing with the hungry masses, so service is better Having said that I have to say that this newer offering from the Rolling Burger Barns people is a winner. This is some great BBQ. I went for the pulled pork sandwich and a side of corn nuggets. THESANDWICH Just a little different than your typical pulled pork in that this one came with cheese, bbq sauce, pickle and onion straws instead of coleslaw. I loved it. They make their own buns which are closer to brioche than anything else. The pulled pork itself was one of the best I’ve ever had off of a truck. Not dried out and stringy but moist and flavorful. THECORNNUGGETS Sweet corn rolled in batter, formed into balls and deep fried. «nuf said The food on this truck is the kind of thing that makes food trucks fun. Chef quality, great ingredients and prepared by someone who cares about what comes from his /(her) kitchen. In fact the only reason this truck didn’t get 5 stars is that they are a bit pricey. My sandwich and nuggets came to 16.00 and change. That’s fine in a restaurant, but a little high for a truck. But that doesn’t change the fact that this sandwich is a winner. So what’s left to say??? Only this; _____________Stalker Approved______________________ !

Saw this truck tonight and my nephew wanted to try it. Went to Unilocal and the pictures had us sold. For the price, I expect more but the consensus with my family is they aren’t «bad». My complaints: –They give you your order piecemeal. Fries a good 15 minutes before 1 out of the 4 burgers I ordered. Meanwhile, they are giving out other orders. So it took almost 30 minutes to get our complete order. So even though we live about 5 minutes away, the food wasn’t actually hot. —I gave them the 1st burger back to add to the tray and(I’m partially to blame) when I got home there was a burger missing. There goes $ 9.99! After a 40 minute trip that was the final straw for me. I’m left poorer and with no burger. Hopefully, they will at least call me back.

I really don’t have a desire to try food truck burgers much, I can take them or leave them, but when I saw that this truck was coming to our Food Truck Tuesdays at work, I logged in to my trusty Unilocal and checked them out. Such GREAT reviews that I just had to see what this truck was all about. There are definitely some pros and cons to it, but overall I give it a 4.5 stars. A co-worker went to the truck first and came back with only seasoned fries. She said«they said they forgot to bring bacon». HUH? How do you forget bacon… never forget your bacon! She raved about the fries and said that she would have ordered a drink but way too expensive. So, I took my turn down to the brightly decorated and festive truck. I went to the window and said«I hear you don’t have bacon?» the girl inside replied«No, we have bacon»… hmmmm. As I waited for my food, 4 people were waiting for their order in front of me; all 4 orders were messed up, I was a bit skeptical seeing that and knowing about the whole«bacon/no-bacon» thing. But I was determined to try this place even if I had to take out a 2nd mortgage to buy something. So I ordered the BIGBACONCHEESYBURGER and a side of CRISPYCORNNUGGETS. This was a pricy lunch but it was abso-freaking-lutely delicious!!! ** BIGBACONCHEESYBURGER: Brioche bun was super soft but still able to hold up the mighty ingredients inside; big, perfectly cooked and seasoned patty, loads of completely melted cheese and a few strips of bacon(needs more bacon, especially for the price). I was a little let down when I asked what kind of sauce comes on it and they said they make it plain and you add your own and pointed to little packets of mayo, mustard and ketchup. Little packets? Really? Tacky and disappointing. So I thought I’d just find something in the fridge at the office to pour in it, but once I took a bite without any sauce, I realized that it doesn’t need any at all, it’s perfect without it! I really loved this cheeseburger, was sorry I said I’d split it! $ 9.99 ** CRISPYCORNNUGGETS: I have no idea how they make these or what exactly it’s made out of but they are like heavenly puffs of crunchy, doughy, gooey stuff crammed with kernels of corn. I could have ordered 100 of these and gone back for more. I shared the small order with 4 people in my office and all of us said«Mmmmmmmmmm» after the first bite and any bites taken after that. $ 5.50 ** SEASONEDFRIES: I didn’t have any of these, but my non-baconed co-worker did and she said they were amazing and she’d definitely recommend them and have them again if the truck ever came back. ** FOUNTAINDRINKS: Interesting that fountain sodas were installed in the side of this truck. Nice touch and they are unlimited so drink up while you wait because they’ll put you back $ 6.50. Other items that looked interesting and yummy: Funnel Cake stick with ice cream and sauce, mac-n-cheese balls, sweet potato fries, onion rings and real Ice Cream Shakes(STRAWBERRY!!!) All in all, I’d do this truck again as long as I can split the bill and the food with someone. I’d like to try the Strawberry Shake and get another order of those Corn Nuggets… keeping both of those totally to myself however. :) The girl was super friendly and the dude was super cute with his adorable dimples. Nice job RBB… CHEERS!

Best tri tip sandwich ever! I was wary because it was $ 12 just for the sandwich! But I decided to go for it and I am so glad I did. I also couldn’t decide between the corn nuggets or seasoned fries so I asked if I could sample a french fry. The gal working the truck begrudgingly agreed and it was so delicious I ordered a side of fries as well. Overall the sandwich and fries came to almost 17 bucks! However, I have to acknowledge that the sandwich was utter perfection. The tri tip, the onion strings, the sauce, the bun, the pickles, it was all working together to create a symphony of noms. The fries were also perfectly seasoned. Just enough to give it a kick, but still mild enough to appease my wimpy taste buds who cannot handle even the idea of something spicy. Overall I would recommend the bbq truck, and I would be excited to try their burgers.

Ordered the bacon cheeseburger, crispy corn nuggets, and fried mac n cheese. Bacon cheeseburger is probably the best I’ve ever had. Lots of crispy-crispy bacon, and the burger itself is huge. Their crispy corn nuggets are awesome. Definitely a MUSTORDER. If you’ve had the ones at sizzlers, it doesn’t even compare to this. Fried to order and so yummy! The fried mac n cheese were alright. If you’re a man n cheese fan, then it’s worth trying. I wasn’t that into it. Kind of bland for my taste. The food overall was delicious. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars, is because I think the prices were a bit much. For 2 bacon cheese burgers, corn nuggets and mac n cheese bites, I pad over $ 33. I will definitely be looking out for their truck, but if I ever became addicted to their food, I’d quickly go broke! hehehe

Whoa, talk about amazing burgers! I stopped here on my way to see a movie one night just as they were about to close. Thankfully, they were courteous enough to take my order and with a few moments I had the most amazing cheeseburger ever! I will definitely be looking for them again while downtown.

I REALLY wanna give them 5 stars, because the burger and fries were that good. But damn, this place left me with an almost empty wallet. I have no idea what kind of seasoning they put in their fries. All I know is ITWORKS. The smell and flavor of it kinda reminded me of Wienerschnitzel for some reason haha. And the burger on the brioche bun was perfect. The whole brioche bun craze is sort of getting played out already, but it’s a craze for a reason, as such a big cheesy and meaty burger can only be complemented by such a bun. The lady taking orders was very nice and cute haha, and the other employees were very chill. I’m gonna have to track these guys down every once in a while.

Gotta say that I was very surprised to have a veggie sandwich off of a burger truck. I must say that everyone that was buying a burger was raving about it. There burgers are 100% Angus Beef. No GMO’s The veggie sandwich made with Texas Toast had 2 eggs, caramelized onions and mushrooms, cheese, lettuce and a nice slice of tomato. This truck also has a self serve Soda Fountain They where very fast, wait times where not more than 5 – 7 minutes. Also the truck looks awesome.

This food truck has the most amazing burgers! Juicy, fresh, and well prepared. I’ve had their Big Cheeseburger and their Flamin’ Hot and both are amazing! Their fried Mac and Cheese bites, Crispy Corn Nuggets, Sweet Potato Fries, Southern Fried Onion Rings, and French Fries are all to die for! Can you tell I’m a Rolling Burger Barn groupie? Catch them when they’re in your town!

All I can say is it was an amazing burger. The meat was great, the cheese was good grilled cheesy like and the brioche bun was soft. It was large enough that I couldn’t eat the entire thing which rarely happens for me. I believe I overhead them saying they are sometimes over near the Regal Theatre at LA Live. The one guy working outside of the truck was very friendly and helpful.

I must first say that I have always been a huge fan of food trucks. There were three options at this spot and my craving for a hunk of red meat called me to this truck. The staff were super friendly and the truck looked very clean and nice. They seem to have a nice selection of sides and several options for burgers. I decided to go with some spice. I ordered the Flamin Hot burger and Sweet Potato Fries. Let me just say that this meal was delicious. It wasn’t the best burger I’ve ever eaten, but it was very good. It was not spicy(for my taste) as the jalapeño were fried; however, they had an amazing taste. I really liked how the bun was toasted. The sweet potato fries were awesome. I would definitely go back to this place and I’d recommend you to try it out, too.

Don’t want to hate, but c’mon guys, you gotta step it up if you’re going to charge that much for a burger. Although meat was fresh, it was bland and needed some kind of flavor. And please don’t serve over ripe tomatoes with your burgers. It tasted old and the texture was mushy. Your fries were the bomb though. Seasoning salt with a kick of citrus. But overall, you guys should reconsider how much you’re charging for certain items, especially if they re just A-OK.

A burger to savor… Had to give this place a try(Shoutout to Scott Bridges’s review from LA Biz). When it comes to a burger, all I can say is, it’s ALL about the bite. Let me elaborate… The brioche BUN that they use is incredible(finally found out they use La Brea Bakery)! Goodness, it is so fluffy, and Rolling Burger Barns does a great job with the light toast on the exterior. Next comes the fresh crisp of their VEGGIES. Then of course, the PATTY is a rich 1⁄3 pound of juicy Angus beef. Also, after speaking with the owner, I’m really impressed at how much detail they put into this scrumptious treat. They place the onions between the patty and the cheese slices, with the intention of letting it have a light steam to concentrate the sweetness(don’t worry, not overpowering). Let’s not forget the crunch and savory-ness of the thickly cut BACON. Yum. Sides/drinks: The sweet potato fries are bomb-dot-com and the fried mac and cheese reminds me of something I would find in the south Milkshake — so rich and creamy Price: $ 6 – 12. It’s a little pricier than the typical fast food joint, but c’mon, this is no comparison. They grill their food as you order it(unlike McDonald’s warming trays, haha). They are the perfect medium, between In-n-Out’s $ 4 double-double, and The Playground’s $ 15 burger(formerly the Lime Truck) in DTSA. For the quality, Rolling Burger Barns has the best value. Their truck is decked out. It really does look like a rolling barn with plasma TVs to display their menu, lol. After a few experiences, their Farmer’s Protein Delight is now on my bucket list — 1 egg, 2 large patties, 3 strips of bacon, and 4 slices of cheese. Not sure if this is going to be a heavenly bite or a coronary sin. Hmm, I think I’ll enjoy it either way. … with every bite, seriously had to make a conscious effort to slow down and enjoy.

Saw this truck and I had to turn back to give it a try. Ordered a Big Bacon Cheesy Burger with sauteed mushrooms and a side of Fried Mac Cheese Bites. The burger comes plain with no condiments. On the side of the truck there were bottles of condiments(ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard). Service was quick, and the guy that took my order was really nice and helpful in the ordering process. Burger was fresh but I wish it had a sauce instead of just ketchup or mayonnaise. Fried mac and cheese bites tasted like they use kraft mac and cheese battered then deep fried. Prices were a bit on the expensive side for burgers.
