I love living in this building! Great Heated Pool and Covered Parking! And really inexpensive Two Bedrooms! My Boyfriend and I live with Hardwood floors — a gas fireplace — and a upgraded kitchen with dishwasher! Love love love it!

This place has it’s fair share of issues, but the cheap rent and awesome location makes it worth it. I only lived here for a few months(short term sublet), but i enjoyed my stay. It’s cheap, one of the cheapest 1-bedrooms I found in Hollywood. Every unit comes with 2(tandem) parking spaces which is awesome. Laundry on every floor with a card was convenient. There’s a pool located in an odd part of the building. Kind of an awkward spot so I never used/thought of it, but it looked ok. The on-site manager and her husband were always very nice. Small repairs were always done within a few days of putting in a maintenance request. I always saw cleaning people maintaining the shared areas of the lobby/building, and it never looked trashed or anything. There is also tons of free parking around the apartment, so I never had an issue when guests were over. Cons: There are a lot of small children and dogs that live in this building. Thankfully my neighbors did not have either, but walking through the building I definitely heard a fair share of screaming kids and barking dogs. It could be miserable if you got stuck next to one of those units. Cockroaches were also definitely seen during the hotter times, but Hollywood and the surrounding area of the building is pretty much infested with them, so I suppose it’s unavoidable. The biggest con for me was the layout of the actual apartment and building. The main living room of my unit was next to the main 2 elevators with a massive window. It was impossible to have my blinds open, because anyone and everyone who walked by could completely see inside of my apartment. It made me very uncomfortable. I basically could not open the blinds, and the few times I did, I could see people look in. I love bright natural lighting, and my apt felt like a cave sometimes. You would need to install your own sheer curtains to avoid this issue. I believe every unit had the same layout, and I noticed most all people kept their blinds closed. It was just way too weird to be sitting on my couch or cooking and then making eye contact with people walking by or waiting for the elevator. Overall it’s definitely no where near perfect, but there are also no major issues I encountered during my time there. It’s affordable and the apartments are decently updated. The location is absolutely awesome. I would have loved to stay longer if I could have.

One Jr. Bedroom for $ 1235… gee that sounds like a lot don’t it? But you get more than just an apartment. You get access to a swimming pool, a hot tub, secured covered parking, a mini-gym, a security guard, and a lot of establishments in Hollywood. I think the location is what really keeps me around. I can walk around to a number of restaurants, theaters, clubs, bars, and shops without having to worry about parking spots or parking fees. If I get ancy in the middle of the night… sunset and hollywood will be there to provide me with entertainment. The manager is really nice. She lives on site, and is pretty quick about getting repairs done when needed. Parking for guests is pretty easy. There’s parking right on the street, no permit necessary.
