I’ve always been a fan of the one in El Segundo… not sure what it is about airport food but definitely NOT the same! Food was cold, drinks tasted like they’d been sitting in the gun too long. This was late at night(I was delayed) so I I’ll give it another chance next time when it’s a little busier!

Located in the Southwest Airlines terminal(T1), so it’s very convenient to grab a bite if you are waiting for your flight. I got to the restaurant at 11:40am, so naturally there were a lot of people waiting for tables. I was able to skip the queue and ate at the bar. Service was fast. Thank you bartender! Food was so so — good enough as an airport luncheon, not good enough if it’s an independent restaurant outside. Will I come back? Probably. Just because not much options inside the airport.

The Tequila salad was awesome and Laurie was a pleasant server who made my first meal back in the states very enjoyable!

OMG thank god I’m a patient person!!! The service here is horrible, and again I’m in the restaurant industry so that’s is saying A LOT! I’m lucky that I am one of those weirdOs that has to be at the air port 2 hours early or if be and pressed to get a glass of wine and my cheque here before my flight is boarding.

Everything from the plastic forks to the plastic cups to the limited breakfast menu made me feel like I just got ripped off. Also, it took a long time before the waiter even noticed I was seated. Save your money and go to the other spots.

Food was good. Service was quick. But –Hostess should Wipe tables between every customer, especially in cold & flu season. She walks around with the towel in her hand, but doesn’t use it unless it’s obvious the table needs it.

No one was at the greeters stand, didn’t see a hostess will seat you sign so I sat myself in a two person high top. I waited as staff walked by for 10 minutes. Politely asked a waitress passing by if I could get a menu. She scolded me for seating myself, dropped a menu on the table, spun and left. Waited five more minutes, the same waitress came back and rudely asked if I was going to order anything or am I just waiting on my flight. Hmmm? Yes I am waiting on my flight and yes I would like to order something to eat. Felt like saying, no, I am here to buy a new set of tires. Flying home after spending a week training a businesses employees on customer service. Obviously they don’t train about customer service here. It is the people business!

I got a «cheeseburger» here and it was pretty horrible. It was $ 11.50 at the time I purchased it, and included your standard bun, a quarter pound patty burnt to shit, and a slice of American cheese. No fixings were offered, like lettuce, tomato, onions, or pickles. I had to run and get condiments from another food stand.

AVOIDATALLCOSTS. Would give 0 stars if possible. Worst service around. Been sitting at our table for 15 min and no one has asked us how we are let alone take our order. AVOID at all costs. The manager was even rude to us when we asked about the order. ABOIDATALLCOSTS

Horrible service. We have been here over 15 minutes and haven’t been served. Tons of servers wandering around helping others but apparently us two black women are invisible. We keep asking and… nothing. If our flight wasn’t cancelled and we had somewhere else to go we would have left long ago. Sad that in this day in age that this still happens.

Service and food is okay. Can’t even remember what I ordered but it was just alright. It was near our gate and they have flat screens so naturally we got a table. I was facing towards the entryway and couldnt see the screens at all – Disappointed at the tv layout and the food. Hard to be picky I guess when at airports but I wish we tried the other spot we saw for some food before our flight.

This place is a hot mess! Far too many staff running around in a small space. Given the fact that it is a brand new addition to LAX, I guess that is understandable. Because our appetizers came out with the main dishes, and the temperature being pretty cool, meant cold main dishes. If you happen to get the pretzel prepare yourself for the hot mustard. WHOA! The wings were good, the pizza was not. I will not be ordering the pizza again. However, others really enjoyed the sandwiches and hot dogs. Over all not terrible, but not excellent. Having said that there are almost no choices for food in Terminal 1.

Another overprices airport eating dive in a large airport(LAX). We did manage to get two subs and some cole slaw and two iced teas for a little over $ 40. Problem was, we would be in the air for 4 hours and it would be half a day without a meal. Although I can afford to go without a meal for quite a long time… heh, heh… it isn’t a pleasant affair and added with the stress of travel, not recommended. I will say that the sandwiches were quite good, the cole slaw was exceptional. I just don’t like being bent over like that… but…ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

The food was okay for airport food; the service at the table was lacking. However, while waiting, the long line of customers was ignored, and we couldn’t even see a host stand, let alone know that we were supposed to put our name on a list for seating. The ‘hosts’ ignored the line completely. So fair warning: there is apparently a ‘wait list’ to put your name on if there is a line. Horrible, HORRIBLE customer service from the beginning, but decent serving staff.

Good comfort food, with fine music. Food was plain-ok and nothing wonderful. Great beer selection. The place is nice and clean with an ample bar and some TV’s, showing videos and news and sports. Prices are reasonable for an airport. If you’re flying Delta at LAX, it’s worth a shot.

Gut. Wirklich gut.

When you’re waiting in the airport for your flight and you could use a bite to eat and a cold beer you’re not really too picky. It is airport food by the way. Rock and brew have a pretty good atmosphere and a decent beer list. All things a positive when waiting at the airport. Service was decent, not the friendliest, and the food was just mediocre. We actually ate there twice(atmosphere), once on our flight out and once on her flight back. I do have to say, if I’m going to pay nearly $ 15 for breakfast I’d really like it to be served on a glass plate and not a paper plate. It just makes me feel better about spending that much money for eggs and a piece of toast. For breakfast I had the spicy frittata, which was less like a frittata and more like scrambled eggs. Did I mention it was served in a paper bowl? It came with fried potatoes and toast. All of that for close to $ 15. I know that when you eat in the airport you should expect to pay more but man, their breakfast was pricy! On our connecting flight home we stopped again for a late lunch and a couple of beers. Their beer list is great! A lot of craft beers to choose from and a few local beers to round out the options. I tried a «house burger»… please know thats a loose term in airport dining. The burger was a pre-formed patty and sub-par add-ons. Between my husband and I, we each had a burger and a couple of beers. Between the two of us we spent almost $ 100. Man, long layovers are expensive! The downfall of airport dining. I still think rocking brew was one of the better choices that the airport had to offer. Not the best at anything, but better then the other options.

Great place to have some food and brews before taking that long flight. I like to toss back a few before red eyes. Lots of people watching going on. I love the 80s videos playing on the multiple screens. Food and beers were great. Stop by if you want to indulge before flight. On a side note, I ended up sitting next to Christian Keyes(actor) while I was there. We talked for a while and had some good laughs. Then we noticed Braylon Edwards(former NFL player) sitting across the way and were wondering if we could take him. Not a chance, haha! Braylon came over and talked to us for a bit. It was cool hanging before my trip to DC.

It’s too bad the service sucked because the food was pretty darn good. Joey and Lucas were constantly just standing there watching the game on TV. Joey took our order, and not once did he ask us how we were doing, or if we needed anything, or come by to refill our drinks. On top of that, when we asked for condiments it seemed like it was a hassle for him. Our table was cleared by a diff. girl but after that we sat and waited for the check. And waited… And waited… Had Joey been paying attention to the customers instead of watching TV, we coulda been out of the restaurant 15 minutes earlier. Such a disappointment on the customer service end.

Good bar food! Ordered: 1– truffle burger(5 stars! Very tasty! The combination of mushroom, onion, tomato and Spinach w/blue cheese is awesome!) 2 – fireball burger(3.5 star! Very typical! You might like it if you are a fan of pickle.) 3 – Margarita(5 star! Perfect mixing!) 4 – Continental Beer(5 star! 4 choices of flavors!) Tips: 1– Great drinks selections! You are not gonna go wrong with drinks here. 2– Only can speak for burgers: top 10 in airport restaurants!

So we had a layover in LA, and found this place to grab a bite to eat. The terminal was pretty packed, so we had about a ten minute wait. The tables are very close together, so there is not room for your bags, but they have a small section by the bar that they allow people to store their bags while you eat. Service was pretty quick, and since we were on our way to Hawaii, we decided to try a Hawaiian beer they had on tap, Kona Big Wave. First time we ever tried it, and it was delicious! I know it’s not specific to Rock & Brew, but if you are there and haven’t tried it, you should. We ordered a Brews burger and a pulled pork sandwich. The Brews burger was really good, and the garlic aioli sauce that comes with it really made the burger. Order an extra side of that and you won’t regret it. The pulled pork sandwich wasn’t really what I was expecting, but was still good. I wouldn’t necessarily call it a pulled pork sandwich, as it was more like a BBQ pork sandwich. The pork inside was not as pulled(shredded) as I am generally accustomed to, and it was more bigger pieces of meat. Still good though, and really big portions. So the food was pretty good, but nothing really groundbreaking for an airport restaurant, but I found the best part of this place to be the view. The people watching in LAX can be quite interesting to say the least. All in all, not a bad place to grab some food if you have some time to kill in LAX.
