Used GrubHub again for lunch today. This time to order for delivery to my work. RJM Mexican Grill came up as option and had alot of good reviews, so I gave it a try. I ordered carne asada burrito with homemade horchata A Coworker ordered herself the tostada salad with chicken My burrito was huge, only ate ¼ and gave rest to some other coworkers, who were still waiting for their food from a different place. It was really good– even my coworker’s who ate my leftovers wanted the address to this place. Horchata was good. Tostada salad was huge! She loved it and said we’re definitely ordering from them again! They gave about 4 – 5 different salsas to choose from. 5 stars for awesome lunch experience!

This review is based on delivery. They have the most mazing lobster taco! Their salsas are amazing. Prices are reasonable and the delivery time is very prompt! Would definitely order from here again.

Burritos were huge and really yummy. Also a tip unless you enjoy really spicy things ask for no salsa/pico di gallo because they were really spicy and i got a whole jalapeño which i was not thrilled to find.

A friend and I decided to meet one day for lunch. I searched Unilocal for a location that was someplace between our two homes and based on the good reviews, decided upon RJM Mexican Grill. I pulled up to a small strip mall behind a gas station and thought, «umm… I don’t think so.» I noticed my friend pulled up in the lot about a minute after me and I could see that she was also hesitant. I walked over to find her getting ready to text me that we needed to find another location. Because we were both already there, and the reviews seemed promising, I convinced her that we should at least give it a try. The food was GREAT! They have many selections, seafood included. They have a small salsa bar that did NOT disappoint. My favorite salsa was a peanut butter salsa — believe me — it’s AMAZING! The food is fresh and flavorful. The location, while nothing fancy, consists of a few tables in a small setting. While we ate our lunch, there was a lot of foot traffic as many people call in their orders and pick them up on the way home. In the month since I originally visited, I’ve been back once, and my friend has been back 4 times! That alone says something. Give RJM Mexican Grill a try.

The salsa selection was amazing, and diverse, with complimentary chips that were thick and salty and so good with the salsa. We got the fish tacos: crispy cod, lobster, and mahi mahi, and the seafood quesadilla. All options so good, the service was great the guy at rhe front was super friendly and attentive. Don’t be steered away from the exterior, it’s the best hidden spot. I recommend it. Seems like the previous low rated reviews are from people who ordered online or delivery, so I would just go in. They’re quick anyway, even if you stood there for it to go, or just sit down and enjoy your meal.

I ordered to-go. Their carne asada burrito is what Chipotle only wishes it could be, and it is perfectly executed. It’s fresh, delicious, and satisfying. Plus it has guac! The salsa bar is, as previous Unilocalers mentioned, simply amazing. The spice and flavor ratio of their salsas is perfect. This is high quality Mexican food made with love. My girlfriend also loved her carne asada quesadilla. Once our wallets have recovered from the holiday season, we will be back for the tacos! As a bonus, they have a big barrel full of peanuts. I don’t know if that’s authentic or anything but hey, free peanuts! =D

Ordered for pick up here on my lunch break. I’m surprised at how delicious everything was. First time trying this place and it was definitely great, food was ready so quick. Portions are HUGE. The burrito was too much & wasn’t even able to finish it. I had ordered a chicken burrito which came with chips on the side. It was very delicious. One of the best burritos I’ve ever eaten.

This place is great, and the complaints here are mostly related to take out experience, which I always eat in store. The tacos are huge, mega huge, amazing ingredients like lobster, shrimp and salmon that is very fresh. The salsa bar rocks. Folks who work there are very kind as well.

I hate leaving negative reviews, I really do. I had high hopes for this place as it was one of the few places with decent reviews and open at 10am on a Tuesday. I ordered through Eat24, two nachos and a burrito, doesn’t seem that hard to make. Was estimated 30−60min for my delivery as of 1025am when my order was placed. It’s now 1145am and still no order, restaurant won’t answer their phone, according to Eat24 my order was delivered at 1125, yet, I’m sitting here needing to leave for work in a half hour and have yet to eat my lunch. First and last time I’ll ever order from a new place outside of my normal 3 – 5 restaurants via eat24.

Ok — found our new fav place — this was our first visit and we weren’t disappointed. It’s a very tiny location in a little Sun Valley strip mall — with a very friendly waitress, who took obvious pride in their food. We asked for recommendations and she suggested the shrimp, lobster and salmon as popular in the seafood and said the carne asada was terrific today. I got one each of the shrimp and lobster, my husband got one of the lobster and two of the asada… one of which we ended taking home with us because these things are really big! It took a little bit for the food to arrive, but she kept us updated, brought chips and drinks and we worked our way through the salsa bar — which was very tasty. There’s a very good avocado /tomatillo, two versions of a pico de gallo style — and an interesting orange one all the way to the left that was sweet, plus a bunch more we didn’t get to. When it food arrived, it was delicious. The lobster had a sweet flavor to it, the shrimp had a bit of crisp and the asada had obviously been cooked to order from good quality meat. The Unilocal pictures had shown crema dressing… which made me a bit worried it might be swimming in it — but there was just the right amount to balance out the crunchy veg on top. Since then we’ve also tried the barbacoa — really good! So — the food will take a while to arrive, but the chips and salsa are good — and you’re waiting because they’re actually cooking it fresh! The location is ok… can’t wait until they move to a slightly bigger place, but that won’t stop us from returning. These folks are really working hard, you can tell there’s great pride in the quality of the ingredients and what they’re trying to do.

I was at a friend’s house and decided to pop open Grubhub to see what was nearby that she hadn’t tried yet. We crossreferenced their selections with Unilocal reviews, and decided to order RJM. With the weird foodtruckesque name, we were skeptical and slightly afraid. This was some of the best Mexican food we’ve had in a while! My friend got the lobster burrito, which was the size of her face. I got the 7 Mares seafood soup, which was bursting with flavor, and had fantastic and GIANT pieces of seafood. The guac was also really good. You rock, RJM!

I called this place @4:15 and had the woman on the phone repeated my order 4x’s. I specifically asked for no cream or crema because I have an allergy to dairy. She said it would come in an hour and it arrived @5:40… Ok not so bad, but the order was wrong. Of course the order had sour cream!!! I called the number back and it said it was no longer accepting calls… I called the driver back and he said they’d call and they never did. Are you kidding me? Lol never trying this place again

Great veggie burrito! Head and neck above the shredded lettuce/pico de gallo/rice catastrophe I’m used to from restaurants to lazy to consider their veggie clientele. Here’s what RJM brings to the table: pinto beans, Spanish rice, lettuce, tomato, cilantro, guacamole and — OMG — actual veggies. Seriously, broccoli, squash and I think there were even carrots at one point. I give 5 stars when I see soy meats up in my burrito! Gardein please!

If you want to be intimidated and threatened online, definitly go here! If not, skip it!!! Wow! Unfortunately for RJM someone affiliated with this restaurant just isn’t very intelligent. I had bookmarked this place and had a review started that was highly complimentary. I’ve ordered from this place several times and enjoyed the food. I was planning on returning. I even ordered some very large orders when we’ve had company. NEVER again!!! I had left a tip regarding the fact that they leave peanuts out and how that is scary because someone in my family has an allergy and cross contamination was a concern for us. I would have never known this if I hadn’t seen it for myself.(In the past I had other people pick it up.) In another tip I also mentioned it as a plus for those who like peanuts. But they just don’t have basic reading comprehension, clearly! Today I receive a threat under the«compliment» section to my Unilocal profile which states«I’ll show you contamination. «Really? Really, Frank M? Everyone please notice the screenshot that I’ve added in the photos. Take a moment to notice that the profile for this person gives RJM5 stars with no pics or personal info and gives all others only 1 star. Can we say phony profile??? I bet this person set this up in order to intimidate anyone who says anything negative about RJM and sends out these thuggish«compliments» to customers. This person needs to learn how to run a decent business and stop acting like a common street thug. I will not patronize a business who thinks threatening customers is a good practice and you shouldn’t either!
