I’m beyond disgusted at this place! I came by a couple of times before with my cousin, and I was craving for some yummy pupusas. Geez! Was a disappointed! First of all, the lady taking our order had a really bad attitude only because we asked her if we can order pupusas de chicharron con queso(not revuelta — because we didn’t want beans). Apparently, this is the only place that doesn’t serve it that way! We went ahead and ordered them revueltas. Besides not handing us a receipt, by the time we finally got our order, another lady chimes in and charging us a second time around not believing us that we already paid. What I’m more pissed off about is that she still had the nerve to ask the kitchen staff if we have paid. I should asked for my money back and left right then and there. Not only did we have to wait more than expected for our pupusas, once we got home, we see that these pupusas are thin. Hardly any chicharron or cheese. They looked like tortillas mal echas! Never coming back here again. Bad customer service and horrible food! Esas muchachas hicieron esas pupusas por joder, if the ppl from El Salvador would see these crappy things they’ll be ashamed in disgust! They’re lucky I’m even giving them 1 star!!! :(

This place ya valió verga. I used to come here ten years ago when I lived around the area. The pupusas were always fat and the customer service was great. I happened to be around this past weekend and things were not the same. The lady that took our order had a whack attitude because I said chicharrón con queso and not revultas. I like to order them that way bc some restaurants put beans in their revultas– I don’t really dig that. A second lady tried to charge us a second time. The first didn’t give us our receipt. Second lady didnt believe us so she went back into the kitchen to ask the first lady. We get home and our pupusas are thin af. They were practically tortillas echas a mano. Never coming back here again. Customer service went down the can. To me all an establishment has to do is provide me with bad service. The yuca con chicharrón that we ordered was pretty good. Meh.

Sopes! Sopes! Sopes! They are deliciousssss! I’m always satisfied with just one but I can’t resist on ordering two. Pollo and carne asada are both equally yummy. I’m not a fan of spicy salsa, so I pour a bit of slasa for the pupusas on it and it tops it off perfectly. Service is always great and friendly.

The burrito is possibly the best deal in a 5mile radius. The only mystery is that it takes 20 minutes to prepare. No idea how that could be possible, but it’s a pretty damn tasty burrito. The Salvadoran specialties come much, much quicker and are very tasty. The boss, Don Orlando is a gracious host. Great neighborhood spot.

My friend and i came in because we were filming a documentary about pupusas. Thus, we decided to have lunch in the process. We tried the cheese and revueltas. The service was top knotch and we didn’t have to wait too long, even though the place was full. The pupusas are big and one was enough. They are not too oily and the type of cheese was the right one, quesillo. Authentic horchata made of morro and no knock-off vending machine horchata. We met the owner who is genuinely a nice person and loves her craft. One of the best salvi restaurants i have been to.

This place had the best sopes ever! The pupusas were pretty good, but the sopes were the best! I had the sopes de pastor. Did I mention how cheap this place was? We had 4 pupusas, 2 sopes and 2 drinks all under $ 15.
