Redwood Urban is a horrible company. They do a background check on incoming tenants but rent out a percentage of units in every building as Airbnb’s! That would be fine if they communicated that from the beginning but there are random people in this building constantly and I’m living underneath the hotel room.
Redwood Urbanis 100% renting out the rooms to Airbnb meanwhile denying it-​pretending it’s tenants renting them out and that they are «not renewing their leases.» And yes I can prove it.
This won’t be going on for much longer though. I am speaking to an attorney and Airbnb is investigating this and I have plenty of proof. Their little side business is about to end. Just really unethical people.

I don’t know what is wrong with this place, but I live next door on Detroit st. and they are constantly «testing» their alarm systems. At least once a week I have to listen to fire alarms, and security system alarms go off for hours!!! I can only imagine how terrible it must be for the people who are inside the building! And what about your animals that are home during the day and have to constantly endure screeching alarms and lights going off for hours?!
On top of that, if they have such terrible systems that they have to check them this frequently it would make me unsure if they would work when needed! Get your crap together redwood apartments!
I would NEVER live here, and you probably shouldn’t either.

DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT RENT FROM REDWOOD URBAN. I lived in a unit that was owned and operated by Redwood Urban and they are beyond penny pinchers.
My rent went up every year as we were already paying top dollar and the «amenities» are 2 broken lawn chairs on their roof deck. There is not sense of community what so ever and they will do anything to cheat you out of your hard earned money. The water went out ALL the time as well as the electricity. I never was able to meet neighbors because they moved out BEFORE there lease was up because it was terriabley managed. Our manager was Christine and i have nothing good to say about her and i will leave it at that. Just an awful awful company.
TAKE MY ADVICE and DO NOT RENT FORM THIS COMPANY!!!
