This Quizno’s is located in a below-street level, literally underground shopping center. The center itself is quite distressed, with many closed stores and a generally depressing, if not ominous look about it. However, this brightly-lit and well-staffed Quizno’s was a sight for sore eyes and empty stomachs. My wife and I split a large«Traditional» Quizno’s sandwich on toasted Rosemary bread and found it to be delicious. My interaction with the two staff members was fine. The meal, with a large drink, came to $ 10.88, and was plenty enough for both of us. As we ate, I noticed that most of the customers in this center were badged, in uniform, or were wearing ID cards. It seems the nearby government buildings are keeping this place open, at least for the lunch hour. There was a pizza shop next door, also doing a brisk business. We would go back there again, should the opportunity arise. It was an interesting, «Only in L.A.» sort of experience. It was A-OK.

Okay, so to be fair I ordered the toasted mac & cheese. Probably not the best thing to order at a place known for their sandwiches, but it looked good to me. Big mistake. Gave me stomach cramps. Staff is nice enough, though. I just would not go back.

From the person Making the sandwiches to the cashier. …all are equally horrible at customer service… if they don’t like working here, they should try to find another line of work. Most of the employees here have worked at this location for years and get worse every year. .i only come here for the chili. …other than that. .this place can suck monkey balls…

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. The 1st time, I got a chicken mesquite sandwich. Just messy, and not appetizing. But that’s not the reason for the low score. I went back yesterday to try«one more time». God, I wish I had passed on it. I had a BLT. It tasted fine to me, but later that night I got horrible stomach cramps and then worse. If you don’t want a side of food poisoning with your order skip this place. Going forward, I will.

I decided to try Quizno’s after hearing they are facing bankruptcy. This one is in a depressed downtown shopping mall, or rather a collection of under-street-level shops and a food court. It’s been a while since I’ve ate at Quizno’s and have been going to Subway frequently. I ordered a Classic Italian, which came out barely toasted, and not the way I remembered it. Also the lettuce and bell peppers fell out. The toasted sandwich didn’t taste good, because it was barely toasted! The reason I stayed away, was the high prices. Why can’t anyone make a decemt pizza joint style Italian sub? I did also have an OK, chili soup„ y lunch cost me $ 9.37. I think I’ll keep going to Subway.

Don’t waste your time! The service at this Quizno’s has been horrible since the day they opened. They don’t even offer to put any veggies in your sandwich, they just close it and wrap it up. The workers were arguing among themselves but made it very noticeable to the customers. Oh and God forbid you ask for more napkins… apparently 2 napkins is sufficient for someone about to devour a sandwich. Don’t waste your time with these people and their crappy attitudes.

I don’t see why this location is rated so poorly. I guess it is either because the reviews are old(management has changed or improved since the bad reviews), or these are simply isolated experiences(people who have a bad experience are much more likely to write a review for a fast-food chain than those who had a good experience). At any rate, I was very pleased with my experience here. The interior was clean and bright, the staff were quick and attentive, ingredients were fresh, and the food was above-average Quizno’s quality. I would have no hesitation coming here again. If you know you enjoy Quizno’s, you shouldn’t have any hesitation either.

The food is fine, I can’t tell much of a difference between it & any other Quizno’s I’ve been to. That being said, the customer service was very poor. I gave this place more than one chance, but the service has been less than adequate every time. This time the girl could barely listen to me-I asked for cheese & onions on my chili & she put some chili in & put on the lid, so I asked again & she said the cheese wad extra & I said that’s fine & she threw some cheese on & put on the lid, so then I had to re-ask about the onions. Then we get to the Sammy-not a big thing but before I could tell her I didn’t want lettuce, she just threw everything on without asking if I was fine with it all. The guy in front of me was arguing about the price because he ordered double-meat & they were charging for double-meat twice. The sandwich comes with meat, double-meat is just one extra add-on price, not too. Then they started lecturing him that he didn’t order correctly & they’d given him 4 times the meat. But he only ordered double-, not quadruple-meat. While I was sitting there a lady ordered a sandwich on some specific bread & they got out the bread & she asked if that was the whatever-kind-she-asked-for bread & they went back & got the right one. From this experience & a few other past ones at this location, they could make this a much better experience by listening & being a little more pleasant to their customers.

How is this company still in business? The place was dirty, the sandwich tasted like cardboard. I wanted to get a tetnus shot after.

Don’t understand all the negative reviews; my sandwich was made correctly and it tasted like it does at every other quiznos.

I really like this Quiznos. Its near where I work. They get my order done fast… maybe it’s because I usually buy my sandwich at 11:20am? I always get the Turkey Bacon Guacomole… it’s my fave… I really like how they accept all coupons & even GROUPONS!!! unlike the Quzinos near where I live…(that’ll be another Unilocal review).

Bad service and will definitely not come back!!! Had a quick bite and they messed up our orders and didn’t put any onions, cucumbers, etc. The taste wasn’t just right! I will definitely go back to Subway! Sorry, Subway, this is what we get when we’re cheating on you!

Quizno’s is definitely not vegan friendly and is hardly vegetarian friendly. The only item on the menu that can be made vegan is their«Classic Veggie» which consists of Red Wine Vinegarette, Tomatoes, Onions, Mushrooms, Black Olives, Mozzarella, Cheddar, Lettuce, and optional Guacamole– hold the RWV and cheeses. I’m going to assume that this is typical of all Quizno’s locations, but I found it odd that there was a separate do-it-yourself condiment section for mustard, pickets, banana peppers, sauces, etc. Why wouldn’t the sandwich maker just ask you if you wanted these things and put them in your sandwich so you don’t have to take it apart later and do it yourself? The Quizno’s website is no help regarding the bread, but some internet sleuthing has told me that the bread is vegan, although the ingredient«natural flavors» is up for debate. This review is more for Quizno’s as a chain, not so much the actual staff/food from this location. The sandwich making process was fast, but the cashier service was really slow.

This is another Quiznos in the area, this one just happens to be near the office. My first only visit I ordered one of the new salads with flatbread. It was a good salad until I went to take a bite and noticed the big piece of hair sticking out of it. My first and only visit. Customer service was not good.

0 Stars! I tried again since it had been 6 months since I last visited. Same lousy service. I sent an e-mail message to the manager. Of course, no one responded.(It’s been about a month.) It’s okay, there are other food choices for me. However, I’m hoping that enough people boycott this garbage dump of a restaurant that they go out of business, and are replaced by a REAL eatery.

I like reading other people’s reviews before I type my own, and they are right on the mark when they say that this Quizno’s SUCKS! I love Quizno’s… but just something about the one in the mall is disgusting! I once ordered my usual Turkey, Ranch, Swiss on wheat & I got this sandwich with wilted lettuce and burnt bread… Trying to scarf down the sandwich before my meeting, it just wasn’t settling well. So I needed to stop by CVS for some TUMS. I think that since this Quizno’s caters to such a large community,(city officials, elected, jurors, homeless, etc) they leave some veggies out for too long & the consumer(moi!) ends up paying the price :(

Can I basically echo my co-worker Jessica H.‘s entire review? Quizno’s falls short of Subway, both in taste and value. At Subway, you can get a great tasting and truly filling sandwich for $ 2.99, and the equivalent would run at least $ 4.79 at Quizno’s($ 0.30 more if you want wheat bread(heaven forbid!) or $ 0.70 more for cheese. .. both included in Subway’s price). Further, how does Quizno’s not provide nutritional information? I e-mailed them about a month and a half ago, and I still have yet to hear back. It’s for these reasons that Jessica H. and I have vowed never to go back. I’d recommend you do the same, especially since there are plenty of other great options around the L.A. Mall.

First of all, with Olvera Street and Chinatown and Little Tokyo all so close by, I don’t know why you’d eat here unless you work in one of the government buildings across the street(hi) or you’re a juror and this was where they told you you could eat. I unfortunately come here all the time because it’s quick and easy(the lines tend to move quicker than the similarly long lines at all the other places in the LA Mall), but I’m really starting to hate this place. First, it’s ridiculously expensive. The sandwiches are like twice the price of their Subway equivalents, plus they nickel and dime you on everything. Want cheese on your tuna sandwich? 30 cents extra. Want wheat bread instead of white? That costs extra too. Plus, even if you order exactly what’s on the menu with no extras or substitutions, sometimes they«accidentally» charge you extra anyway(I have frequently been charged for fancy bread when I ordered(and received) plain white bread, or regular-sized sandwiches when I got a small). That has happened to me and my coworker several times. This place always has lines out the door at lunch time and it saddens me to think of how many of those poor unsuspecting people are being charged extra for things they didn’t order and will never know it because they’re in too much of a hurry to check their receipt. CHECKYOURRECEIPTSPEOPLE, these guys are ripoff artists. Even were it not for the high prices and scams, I’d still like Subway better. Quizno’s sandwiches are okay but kind of bland. The fact that they’re toasted doesn’t really make much of a difference. Also, the other thing that makes me hate this freaking place so much that, screw convenience, I’m really not eating here anymore, for real this time, is that they don’t make their nutrition information available anywhere. They used to have a ’”lite” menu but they got rid of it, probably because it wasn’t actually very«lite.» That tuna sandwich you’re eating that you thought was healthy is probably like 600 calories. If you’re trying to watch your weight or eat healthy you’d actually be better off grabbing a slice of plain cheese pizza at the Sbarro’s next door. In short, Aaron R. is absolutely correct. Skip this place, it’s neither cheap nor good.

Quizno’s makes a big sloppy sub, that’s Toasted… Everything must be toasted. If its not toasted then you don’t get it. But despite making a gross HUGE sandwich, the best thing is to order a sandwich and tell them you want it NOT toasted. The look on their faces is priceless… Try it. They look at you like you’re insane, and they even wonder how they can get the sandwich to the other side of the toaster? But… wait you mean NOT toasted? Yep! Fun! Its not cheap and its not good. Skip Quiznos.
