Was walking by. Thought I would buy a water. Convenient

The market is definitely convenient but I can’t say that the owners are super nice or friendly. They are seriously lacking in the customer service arena. The great thing is that as a consumer I have choices and I choose not to patronize this establishment. You should as well.

I live in Promenade Towers, so the market is extremely convenient as far as location. However, I’m not ready to give my business to impolite staff. I’ve shopped here on a few occasions and feel as if I’m being criminalized when all I’m doing is bringing them business. My most recent visit — after walking into the store, I observe one of the staff and a customer talking. As I walk past them, they stop talking. I look up and they are both staring at me. I say hello and neither responds; the clerk simply begins talking again to the customer, while the customer continues to stare. I felt like a zoo animal. After taking my items to the counter to purchase, I ask the clerk about purchasing batteries. She answers my question but the entire time she stares at the guy customer as if he asked the question. She would not even make eye contact with me. Very, very weird. Not the first time; the previous two times I have had similar experiences. Never again, I would rather walk a couple of blocks to another store to avoid the discomfort and lack of customer service.

The owners are sooo nice so I actually like giving my business to them. This place seems convenient to Promenade residents and perhaps some of the offices across the street. Prices aren’t bad either!

This market is convenient if you live in the Towers(Promenade, not Bunker Hill). The people who run it are sooooo nice. They have almost anything you could think of in terms of food and drink and sell beer and wine(not sure about alcohol). There’s an ATM inside, a copy machine, they sell ice, and even travel size medicine. The prices are higher than normal but that’s what you get for convenience. So glad this place exists, and they’re open on Sundays beginning at noon.
