Was treated rudely by staff. Left without purchasing anything.

Rude and completely out of touch. I consigned some items here and when it when it was time to collect what did not sell I called the store to make an appointment to pick the remainder of items up. When I phoned the store I asked with whom I was speaking(I wanted to know if it was the same woman who had helped me previously) the person on the other line(Phyllis) replied, «WHO is this?» After explaining that I was calling in advance to pick up my consigment she very curtly informed me that she did not do that sort of thing. She simply did not have the time to pick out her customer’s items from her store. I went in the next day and essentially was treated the same way by a different person. She told me that it would be quicker if I pulled my items since I could recognize them better. !!! Maybe so. But I didn’t recognize the layout of the store. Isn’t is the employee’s job to know their inventory and where it is located? I have never had such a horrible experience in a consignment store in my life. If I wanted to deal with lazy and haughty salespeople I’d go to Neiman’s. I’d also like to add that after perusing the pricing list for my items I was not surprised that much did not sell. Her prices were just too high on most items. Do not bother shopping/consigning here. I’d recommend Great Labels in Santa Monica or 3020 Designer Resale in Brentwood. The salespeople are friendly, helpful and their selections are much more current.

This store is a consignment store but BEWARE if you want to consign with them, you NEVER get the prices they tell you as they will put it on sale whenever they feel like and for whatever they feel like… they also tend to «lose» items and are not helpful at all with trying to find them so if you can’t find them in the store it is your loss… they are snooty and rude, they are so unprofessional that I am surprised that anybody still wants to consign with them… it is just a horrible place… And I almost forgot that if you want to be paid, they will deduct $ 1 for each payment that is mailed to you, go figure…

Pros: High end selection, nice service. Cons: It’s so damn expensive that you can’t afford anything.

Live and Learn. I consigned a designer purse here — NEVERAGAIN. She undersold it saying she«never gets full retail», which is understandable because it’s a second/third-hand store. She didn’t even tell me that it sold(so she could postpone paying me). Then when I asked her, she wanted to pay me 3 months AFTER! I asked her why I had to wait so long for my portion when she already got paid! I never saw a receipt so she’s probably toting it around town for the bargain price of $ 165 to me, when the purse was originally valued at around $ 1500!(I was hoping she could get at least half of that, which makes me believe she is using it for herself!) I even contacted a lawyer who said I had a chance at a small lawsuit, but was it really worth it? Oh, and she charged me $ 1 for her having to write me a check and mail it.

This is my go-to store for shoes, bags, sweaters. It’s the best of the best in terms of selection of designer shoes(all in great condition), and the bags are unbelievable. Definitely the best in LA.

This is not a cheap store, but compared to retail it is a true find. It has the best selection of designer clothing at consignment prices. A pair of Manolo Blahniks will still cost you $ 150, but compared to $ 600 new, that is still good. They always have a big selection. I enjoy shopping there, but I have to be honest. The owner is a little snooty. She seems to judge her customers on what they are wearing as to whether they receive good service or not. I have experienced both. If I wear designer clothes, she bends over backwards for me. If I wear Banana Republic jeans, as I usually do on weekends, she is not so eager to help. I go to this store when I am looking for the impossible-to-find designer shoes from last season. In regards to fakes… know what you are looking for. I have seen some fake handbags, but 99% of her stuff is real. She tries to reject anything that isn’t… to the best of her ability. Really, though… if it can fool her, it can fool anybody.

i just bought a pair of prada pumps(new) and a(slightly used) marc jacobs bag. at first, i rejoiced because i thought i was getting a deal of a lifetime. but you know what they say, if it’s too good to be true… i called the owner today because i can’t for the life of me find the kind of marc jacobs bag i bought online. and i’m google queen. i can google anything and locate what i want. i use the right search words. but i’ve googled my heart out and i can’t find anything that looks like my bag. except, it looks like a bad replica of the ‘capra’. FAKE!!! it had never even occurred to me that this bag might be a fake. i called the owner to inquire and got a haughty«this is so insulting! my client is one of the wealthiest people in los angeles!» but that wasn’t convincing enough for me. so she’s going to find out from her client exactly where she purchased her bag. so i can go to the store and ask myself. NOONEMAKES A FOOLOUTOFME!!!(except myself.) to be continued…
