Pasta was kind of bland: something you would make at home. Not enough pasta sauce so make sure you ask for extra.

we arrived to l.a. late and this was the closest thing next to our hotel. the guy who was taking the order was nice but there were a few shady people in there, not too mention the parking lot but hey i guess we were downtown so to be expected. you order on the restaurant side and then the guy writes down the order and you take it to the convenience store side and pay there. the guy ringing up our food was a jerk. i don’t think he understood english too well and he over charged us by about $ 5. when i tried to complain, he continually laughed at me telling me to go to the pizza side to get my order. the more i complained about the price being wrong, the more frustrated with me he got. he took my receipt from my hand and walked to the pizza side still yelling i needed to be there while i was still saying you overcharged me. then another guy came in and starts yelling from the front of the store that he needed to buy a drink. it was ridiculous. we got a big salad and spaghetti. the spaghetti was very good and even had surprising presentation as was the salad. but we were so freaked out we ate super quick and got out. i wouldn’t recommend this place unless it was the last choice in the area.

I walk in, guy is on his cell phone, looks over at me, goes back to cell phone. I walked out. First impressions matter brah.

One of the employees tried to make fun outta me by sending me ‘you’re funny’ complement. And he claimed it’s my eyes. I guess it’s the retard cashier’s eye as well! Whatever, instead of trying to troll bad reviewers, it’s better when they actually try to put more effort in their food & customer service. And when u’re writing an amazing outta world review, please write few more. Don’t make it so obvious! Walked into the empty restaurant to see a server who’s not interested in greeting the customers or even smile. The Unilocal menu & the menu inside the restaurant are different. They don’t have any appetizers or speciality pastas. Ordered bread n’ wings(when i asked if it’s breaded wings or bread & wings, he just pointed at a pic which didn’t clarify my question). He asked me, «that’s all?!’ It was like he’s surprised to see that someone would order only wings! Out of shame I ordered a pizza slice with mushroom($.90 extra for each toppings) and again He asked me, «that’s all?!’ And this time I said yes. Then he sent me to the liquor store(which is connected with this restaurant) to pay for my food. After swiping my card when i was about to sign, I saw they’re charging me $ 9.20 for pizza slice. When i went back to the restaurant asking why a slice of pizza is $ 9.20, he told me it should be $ 4.20. But the thing he wrote doesn’t look like 4 to me(pic uploaded) and when I went back to the liquor store & explained, the guy gave me $ 5 cash back. But $.50 tax that he took from my card is gone! I’m not mad about $.50, just amused to see how they do their business Pizza slice was pretty good. Not too much complain about what I got for $ 4.20. But their wings were disgusting. Frozen wings from Costco. I bought the large bag once & threw out after few weeks. I remember that disgusting taste & flavor. I bet they’re selling those nasty wings for almost $ 9 for 6 pieces?! Wow! Now I’m surprised to see such a high ratings for such a nasty restaurant. If they don’t change their attitude, they should be outta business

Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria(NOT fast-food); The dishes are healthy and hearty, prepared with fresh ingredients.

Such good pizza, NY style. We got a large margherita pizza(tomato slices beautifully arranged, basil put on toward the end so it’s not scorched, red sauce) and it was perfect; not soggy at all like some margherita pizzas tend to be because of all that tomato. The setup is unusual, you order then go next door to the connected market to pay, then bring your receipt to be served your food. This is probably why they get bad reviews, especially since the market cashier was a terse crochety asian man(probably the owner). Do I mind? Not at all, the pizza was great and I take terse service over fake-friendly any day. It’s NY style after all lol.

We went to the Hollywood Bowl last night and decided to skip the heat in the kitchen and order pizza to eat at the HBowl. We called 20 minutes before we arrived and it was ready. The employee was nice and SPOKE English! Not sure why others said the employee didn’t speak English. It’s a bit pricey. My total was 22.10 for a large pepperoni pizza and a garden salad. The pizza was good and the salad was fresh.

I love this place! I go here sometimes before work. This is a hidden gem in Hollywood that I wish was in culver city. Only if they delivered that far. The slices are huge and thin I loveee NY style pizza and have been searching for a place like this. Idk whyy all these ppl are complaining that it takes too long. C’mon would u rather fresh pizza made to order or in 5 mins u get mediocre all ready prepared food. If u got the time it’s worth it.

This place is way over priced for what you get. A medium pizza for $ 28 is a joke. If I had known it was this expensive, I wouldn’t have walked in, in the first place. Also, the pizza was good; but the oil was too much. I had some drips of oil on my work pants… OVERALL, the location is great, but the pizza isn’t made out of gold… Common, bring it down a notch!(The worker didn’t know English very well, but I did mention I was going to Unilocal the place).

wow… I just tried to order for pick up, the guy was very rude. Answered the phone as «hello», had to ask if it was Pizza Bella. I ask for a Gyro platter, which is on their online menu, he tells me they don’t have HERO sandwiches, only pasta and pizza. Then he goes«Did you read our menu before you called? Did you read the right menu» and he gives me their address Yep, I work right next door, told him I was looking at the right menu but thank you anyways because I’m taking my business elsewhere.

The staff was very polite and the service is good and huge slice of pizza, even bigger than my face and of course it tastes good. The experience I had was pretty good well I guess there must be some staffs are not qualified.

We ordered a half sandwich but were charged for a full sandwich. Unfortunately we only noticed after we left… Food is ok but service is bad. I won’t go back for sure!

Worst service ever. No wonder it was empty when we got there! My bf wanted to grab a slice of pizza after the Hollywood bowl show and the sign said 3.75 and when i went to pay I was charged 5.72 for who knows what reason. The cashier said that that was the price for the the price for a slice of cheese pizza. I wasn’t going to bother fighting over it. I also didn’t mention that I didn’t even pay at the pizzeria, I had to go over to the connecting marketplace to pay. It was over 90 degrees all day in Hollywood today and I just wanted to sit down and eat and cool off, but it was just as hot as it was inside as it was outside. lol I just gave up and walked home with pizza, the only place that I could cool down! Ughh

Absolute worst service I have ever experienced in my life. I’m a New Yorker at heart(lived there for over 20+ years) and I’m known by many to be a «pizza-freak.» It’s not the pizza itself that bothers me – it’s the service. Went there with a friend last week and the place, as all others have pointed out — is completely desolate. It’s certainly shady and while I was waiting for 4 slice to be heated(about 10 minutes) I walked around the market that they’re located within; it’s a very shady and strange set-up and I was shocked to find that the market also sells used license plates from different states across the country. Is that even legal? At the counter there is no food in sight, God knows how are what they make their food with. What really upset me however is when I tried to order; the person on the other end of the phone told me they have a $ 30 delivery charge where as the sign outside the storefront advertises«Free Delivery.» When I told them I’d like to order a couple of pizzas for myself and my friend, the guy suddenly had a case of amnesia and told me that they don’t deliver anymore. It was a Sunday, I’m assuming when their owner isn’t around there is some illegal activity going on there and the workers treat the customers like scum by hanging up on them(yes this actually happened without even arguing with the guy). When I called back I was greeted with, «I’m busy my friend what do you want!?» I could’ve easily been another customer calling. I will never, ever, go back to this place and even regret buying their tasteless, horrid pizza.

I’m not a huge pizza guy, .only eat it about twice a month… so for me, this pizza was good enough. huge slice with cheese was very good… however the chicken wings that I got with the pizza was excellent… Nice and meaty… cooked perfectly… took about 20 mins… but I didnt mind… came with veggies and garlic bread… I have gone back often… and not disappointed.

I honestly thought that all pizza was basically pizza. Dominos, DiGiorno, it’s all the same, right? Until I had Bella Pizza, and now I actually have a favorite pizza. Just the stand by pepperoni pizza here is ungodly good. Bella is also a teeny hole in the wall attached to Whitley Market, so you know, it’s also hipster.

This used to be our«go to» pizza delivery place, we’ve been ordering pizza from Pizza Bella for nearly 10 years, but all that ended tonight after the the guy on the other end of the phone said they have a new policy that they won’t deliver for under $ 30. A pizza is less than $ 20. We’re right over the hill. They just lost a longtime customer, and their Unilocal reviews aren’t that stellar to begin with. Smart move Pizza Bella.

the on line menu is fake. We called to order and they were totally stumped and said the pizza did not exist. Perhaps this is why they have as many bad reviews.

As I sat and waited for my car to be done with its work at the automotive shop, I looked at my Unilocal app and wondered if Pizza Bella really deserved 2 stars or if it’s one of those businesses that are totally ripped apart on Unilocal. You know what I’m talking about. Usually it’s brunch places. Brunch places get shredded to pieces on Unilocal because yuppies can’t stand a luke-warm eggs benny… Anyway. Yes. Yes Pizza Bella deserves 2 stars. I waited 25 minutes for a hot meatball sub in a deserted restaurant. How does this take that long? I could have went next door and gotten 8 meatball footlongs from Subway in the time it took them to make one little 6 incher. And I think the Subway subs might have been a little tastier too. I’ll pass.

Food was just okay, service was shitty.(excuse my french). When my best friend and I walked in, the pizza maker was bringing out a pizza to a group of men. We sat down and he told us we needed to come up to the counter to order. We both order the Pizza combo… came with a slice of pizza, a house salad and a can soda. We went to pay and brought our receipts back to the counter and sat down at the table. When our food was ready, he called us up to get our food… didn’t come and serve it like he did the men who were there before us. WTH! Is it because we are females? or maybe because we are AA? I don’t know, I don’t care. I won’t be back that’s for sure! That really messed up the experience for me. As far as the food, the salad and ranch dressing was yummy! The pizza was just okay, I definitely had better.
