Meals and desserts are delicious. People who work there are very friendly. I love going to eat there.

I really wanted to like this place, given the fact that I probably wouldn’t have to deal with the circus and wait time at Grand Central Market. But it literally felt like I was there. Came here around lunch time and ordered the Pesto Pasta. The total came out to be around $ 9.50, and that’s after the 15% off for checking in. The place was very understaffed. The food took 30 minutes to come out, and when it did come out, there was no sincere apology for the amount of time it took nor was I offered any water. The food was average at best and I would only recommend stopping by if you wanted to fill a quick craving. Other than that, I probably won’t be coming back any time soon.

It’s 8:20am and you’re closed when your hours state open from 7. The Nutella croissant with strawberries is great if they feel like being open to serve you.

Pestolini is a really great place for lunch, they serve fast and its very clean and spacious inside. The place is very bright inside and there isn’t that much of a noise. There is a 15% discount when you check in on Unilocal.Yay! They offer a lot of items in their menu which mostly are pasta and sandwiches. I was fortunate enough to have tried 2 of their pastas, pasta formaggio and fettucine alfredo. Being a big fan of white sauce, the fettucine alfredo was better for me. Both of them are at around the same price of $ 10. Fettucine alfredo(5⁄5) — The cheese was really good in here, quantity of the pasta was just enough to make me full afterwards feeling afterwards. The bread here was really good and easy to chew. The food came out looking really great as well which helped made it look more appetizing. I really appreciate places like this who put effort in not only making their food taste good but also pleasing to the eyes. Pasta formaggio(2.5÷5) — As i prefer white sauce, this one did not succeed in fulfilling my cravings for pasta :(. There was really a small amount of cheese in it and I had to put a lot of salt and pepper on the pasta for it to taste better. The bread here this time was also hard to chew. All in all, I would definitely come back to this place even though they don’t serve the best pastas out there in DTLA, its worth a shot and I’ve enjoyed some of their food.

Great service. Love the fresh squeezed orange juice and unsweetened matcha latte here!

I’m not sure how this place stays open. It’s pretty hard to screw up eggs but they manage to do it. They must put some extra effort into spraying the bread with water because it’s nice and soggy. It’s like they’re trying to keep you from coming back. It works!

Very good food. It’s a home style cooking which we really like. We ordered omelette and we were very satisfied. Iced Mocha was good too.

Walked to Grand Central Market to try out The Egg slut, but the line was too long for me to even consider it. Walked around the block and found this place. Not a single soul inside, but I took my chances. Very disappointing. I ordered the veggie omelette, and I thought how can you go wrong with this. The vegetables werent cooked well and the mushrooms were chewy. I ate the just the omelette and I even found hair on the ketchup bottle. Uggh, there goes my appetite. The only thing nice was the spanish latte. Gulped that down and got out as fast as I could.

Omg this is the best hole in the wall place to eat in DTLA. Amazing customer service and food. Ate here for breakfast one morning w my two friends before we started our day. Got the omelette and matcha green boba tea. The man who helped us was soooo nice, but I forget his name! He let me charge my phone, and was ready to accommodate to whatever we needed. The food was stellar and gave you a home cooked feel. Def will be stopping by here again next time I am DT.

Pestolini is a great alternative to the hustle and bustle of Grand Central Market, located just a couple blocks from Pershing Square, and just down the block from GCM. They specialize in pasta, sandwiches, salad, and breakfast. The food is as good as the majority of GCM’s vendors, and you can eat it in a clean and spacious restaurant. While nothing here is mind blowing, everything I’ve had has been good, from the french toast to the fettuccini alfredo to the grilled chicken sandwich. The presentation is excellent, and the food is flavorful and filling. The prices are reasonable too. As someone who likes to try as many menu items as possible, I like the option to get half portions of the pastas and sandwiches. Ordering is simple — it’s an order at the counter and sit where you like kind of spot. The restaurant has been empty every time I’ve been, so service has been quick.

It’s so good to know that there is Italian restaurant that is so close to where I live, it’s located in 363 S Broadways there I don’t have to drive because it’s just couple of blocks away from S Spring st. I will take about 5 minutes of walk. I do love Italian delicacies, all of it, from pasta, pizzas, salads fries, viand and everything in it. Multiple choices of pizza and spaghetti, they also have Pan Cake, Peanut Pasta Special, Grilled Brest Chicken and more.

Ordered three steak breakfast burritos for delivery for my two friends and me. Amazing, especially when hungover on a rainy Sunday morning. It was still hot upon delivery. This steak burrito was wrapped in tortilla, stuffed with steak and cheese goodness. I don’t eat breakfast burritos often, but I assume this is what it’s all about. The orange juice is fresh squeezed(I think). No complaints with that. Overall, my tastebuds were satisfied.

This place is great. An excellent alternative to Grand Central Market if that’s too crowded. Their pasta is great and at affordable prices. It was very clean and good service. If it’s empty don’t let that scare you — go inside and try it anyway. I recommend trying the Toasted Bread Basket. The basil garlic dip is so delicious!

I stumbled onto this place during lunch time on Wed. It was my first time. The venue was spacious and filled with people eating. The menu was italian food. So basically you need to go up to the cashier, order and then they give you acnumber so you can sit down and get your food. As I did that I got the pasta special which had marinara sauce, basil, grilled chicken and breadsticks. I also order a glass of water(I was really thirsty). So, I wait and when the server comes and gives it to me, I did not see a glass of water so once again I go up to the cashier and ask for a glass of water. He said he’ll bring it to my table. I go back and try the food which looked appetizing. The chicken tasted very cold, like it wasnt cooked properly. So, i pushed the chicken aside and ate the pasta. The sauce was ok, but I still felt hungry after eating it. And by the time I finished, I never recieved a glass of water. Overall my experience was disappointing and I wished I would have waited a while longer at grand central market. I won’t come back here.

Went here a week ago, was trusting Unilocal on this one. Walked in and there was no one else in there so we were a little nervous. But my pesto pasta was bomb af. Never had such good sausage. My boyfriend enjoyed the pasta milano which was also very tasty. Would recommend this place to anyone, not for the environment so much but their food is on point. And out honey lattes had the cutest latte art, and tasted dank also. Go, trust.

Great food, quick to order and to receive the food. It’s a little hole in the wall it’s right next to the busy food court area. Breakfast is served all day for those that love breakfast! Also they have half orders for those that don’t eat too much like myself, but it’s very filling. Overall great customer service and environment, highly recommend.

So, this place is not great for you if you’re in a rush. Bracket out a solid hour of your day. Me and my 3 friends were just enjoying a Sunday morning in grand central park looking for a place to have breakfast. Pestolini was modestly priced and well reviewed. They pay Unilocal very well to keep such high ratings. We waited about 40 minutes for our food(bare in mind there were only 2 other tables besides ours). We didn’t even get it all at once. They gave us numbers to keep track of who ordered what but I guess they were just for show because none of the staff seemed to know what the Fuck they were bringing out or to who. They forgot to even make one of my friend’s dishes and made a duplicate omelette, and had the audacity to try and sell it to us despite waiting forever for subpar breakfast. Gotta appreciate the upsell, making food ahead of time thinking that we’re dumb enough to pay for another garbage omelette.

This place is not that good. I’ve had half of a caprese sandwich, fettuccine alfredo, bear claw, iced mocha and a boba milk tea. The only thing good was the iced mocha and alfredo(sort of). The caprese sandwich was a terrible buy at $ 6 for a half of sandwich with no meat. That sandwich should be much cheaper than its counterparts. It didn’t have a lot of cheese on it either. It reminded me of the caprese sandwiches you can get at Fresh and Easy for $ 4 but split in half. Not a good buy at all. The fettuccine alfredo half order tasted good but there could have been more. If the $ 6 portion was skimpy I could imagine the $ 10 would be skimpy as well. At $ 6 I was happy paying for what I got in DTLA but it’s still not that good of a value to me. The bear claw was just… bad. Too nutty, not sweet, definitely not something I would buy again. The iced mocha was very good. I got it over ice instead of blended and it was really good. I took the Unilocalers suggestion and I’m happy with that. The boba milk tea was terrible. I don’t know why I got a milk tea from here but I always see it advertised so I thought I would try it. Bad idea! I will stick to Quickly’s in Chinatown for cheap boba. All in all I will definitely be on the lookout for a better pasta and sandwich place in the area!

A new place to have Italian food or boba or burritos or grilled sandwiches. So go figure. They can’t decide what they serve. Anyway, I tried out the Pasta Milano which was really tasty and a good amount of food. I also tried their blueberry cheesecake. They make their own special blueberry sauce and drizzle it over the cheesecake. Delicious. I’m coming back here again and trying something else.

I’ve passed by this new place a handful of times en route to Grand Central Market, and said to myself: «Self, I wonder what kind of place this is. Seems clean and spacious. Walk in and check it out sometime.» Well, I was hungry and in a hurry last Saturday and was walking by. Saw a menu on the outside. Unilocaled a few reviews. Realized if I had the time to Unilocal,I had the time to walk in and try it. Glad I did. Had the prosciutto sandwich — BOOM, instant fan. Looking forward to sampling the menu further.
